Property Ratings at Caden
Still another 6 months to go . Was advertised as gated community. Don't gate have to be closed. Accessories stolen off my car, loud music cars in and out all day. Pool has-been. Closed even when it was warm. Last rain TIDES of water came in my LR. Think twice if your looking here
Poor construction. Tides is right. Every time it rains water comes into your place. Thieves everywhere. New owners raising rates. Friends ac was down she waited 3 months for fix and rates raised also. Don't reccomend
I have lived here for 2 years and at first, it was good. My a/ c started having problems on Tuesday, 8/24th, and I reported it. It is now 8/29th and it is still not corrected. They do not care about their residents, only collecting the rent money.

My daughter and I moved in about late January. We have found this community to be very quiet and very relaxing. There is plenty of shopping in the area and some good places to eat. We are really enjoying our stay and it really feels like home. The staff is awesome and I so appreciate how well the take care of the grounds and the residents. THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you so much for the review! We appreciate our residents!
We love it here, quiet, clean, great staff, peaceful, alot of parking, gated community, on the bus line, near Albertons grocery store and alot of other food places, upgraded laundry facility and office. It feels like home here, I never felt this way before. We been here 4 months now but it seems longer, they made us feel at home like friends instead of jusy residence who pay rent. The staff will make sure your needs are handled. The maintenece is great, handles maintence request on time and dont take forever like most place. Trust you will love it here. They even have special things they like to do for the residence like Movie at the pool, they recently had a popcorn and also a breakfast to go at the office. Alot of parking, they have a dog park here now. This place is awesome, peaceful. I recommend these apartments to any and everyone. Done forget to tell them I sent you lol.
Wyndham Pointe was the absolute worst experience we've ever had. We dealt with waste water flooding our apartment from kitchen to laundry room through dining room and between the walls separating apartments, toxic sewer gases seeping into our apartment, severe mold due to shoddy repairs of leaving wood, drywall and flooring soaked with waste water, raw sewage including feces and toilet paper outside the building, toilets, tubs, sinks, dishwasher and washing machine backing up with nasty waste water, paint and flooring peeling due to the mold off and on for the entirety of our lease. We all suffered for months and made several doctors visits due to sickness from mold allergies and toxic sewer gases. After several attempts to *fix* the issue and lies from management and maintenance about work that was going to be done in our apartment - we had had enough and gave a written notice including previous correspondence and photos 3 months before our lease was up as the office refused our request to be released from the lease agreement. Not only did they deny receiving a notice from us (which was also sent to corporate which referred us back to the Wyndham Pointe management to deal with), they denied even knowing about the issues at all because our original complaint wasn't in writing (trying to deny the fact that we had grounds to end our lease), they sent us a bill for reletting fees, cleaning (!), and 3 months rent for not finishing out our lease. They *should* have record of ALL of our calls, service requests, complaints, letters, emails and pictures in our file - not to mention the fact that through this entire ordeal our rent was paid on time every single month by or on the 1st. To top it all off - our very last week there someone bashed in several vehicles tail lights with a bat. Security is pretty much nonexistent. Medera Residential claims to be community orientated, to care greatly for their tenants and a very Christian company. This is simply not true. The bottom line to them is the almighty dollar. They don't care whatsoever for their tenants.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for our property. The reason you decided to move had nothing to do with the issues that you are claiming in your review. The one plumbing issue you had was taken care in a timely manner and you continued to live on property without putting in any maintenance request regarding any issues after your apartment was repaired. You came into our office because you found a home and you wanted out of your lease early. Only after we explained the procedure and fees did you return with these accusations. Our security patrol is here three times a night, every day of the week. Unfortunately, they cannot catch all that happens on property. They are not a 24 hour patrol. Also, the incident took place outside of the property gates. Since Madera Residential has taken over in this area, crime has actually decreased. We even received an award for our efforts in working within the community from the police department. Once again, it is unfortunate that you did not have a good experience with us. We wish you all the best in your new home!
Not bad! My apartment was nice in clean.. beautiful floors and cabinets. Alot for the money. Pool is cleaned only on Tuesday which is gross not enough for all these bodies. This is a huge complex but overall nice n quiet
Property Manager at Caden, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your taking the time to review our property! Our pool gets a deep clean on Tuesdays but the chemicals are tested daily. The pool is regulated through a system that measures this to make sure everything is up to code. Thanks again!
Pros: next to major highways Cost efficient (though this has changed) Cons: no updates from management lack of professional management staff (they've hung up on me instead of answering my questions) lack of professional maintenance service Months of waiting for them to fix their projects Loud noisy complex Lack of insulation, outdated windows They are not providing enough notice for construction updates. I work evening shifts and am unable to sleep because of the amount of awful noise. I'm also unable to plan ahead for these construction events because they aren't providing enough advance warning about the construction. I received an update that they would be working on my patio for example, the morning I came home from work, the construction would begin that very morning! They do not keep up with their property. The gate has been down since November! They only just gave a community update in February about the gate. That is something that is absolutely unforgivable. Entire MONTHS with no update and the gate out of service. My family and property have been put at risk for months, while I'm stuck with a lease I don't want! The walls are really thin in the apartments. There are many loud tenants in the complex that drink/party/do drugs that make it unbearable. The office does nothing about noise complaints that I've processed. The appliances/windows are extremely outdated. They have received 2 reports that my sliding glass door is hard to open and close and lets a terrible draft in, yet when they come out to "fix" it the maintenance doesn't look at what's wrong. They just make it worse by slamming it shut and asking me to leave it that way. The utility bills while staying in the complex are awful. The apartment does not stay warm in winter, or cold in summer. I pay over $200 in electric bills every month. They have the same cooling unit installed in the larger apartments that they do in the smaller ones. It may seem efficient for a 1 bedroom, but certainly does not keep 2 or 3 bedrooms comfortable. Renter beware, the management staff came through to my apartment with a late bill after my rent had already been paid. The pool had a leak in it for a few years, and now the buildings surrounding the pool are most likely sitting on top of a giant sinkhole.

We know that improving a community can be frustrating for residents because of everything that comes with construction but the end result will yield a beautiful property for us to share. We always send out notifications to residents regarding construction but sometimes as with any construction project, there are unforeseen changes. We just ask that everyone bare with us as we also adapt to these changes. Our gate is in service and fully operational. We are happy that we took the time to have it installed correctly and properly so not to inconvenience our residents any further once it was working again. The pool was leaking when we took over the property but it has now been repaired as our intent is to improve the property that was left by prior management. Our only goal is to make the property a comfortable place to live for our residents but we cannot do so without the construction needed to repair the property. As always, we thank you for your feedback and encourage you to contact us with any issues or concerns you may have in the future.
I'll be blunt, Walls are crazy thin, they wake you up everyday with a lawnmower or leaf blower at 6:00 AM, even on weekends, they went under new management again, each time it gets worse, because every new manager wants to undergo fool fledged early morning, loud remolding, instead of fixing the things in your apartment. Rent use to be cheap, it use to only be $400, it was the only thing that made since why you would torcher yourself with this place, now it's just un-explainable why you would Rent or Stay here, and the manger lets their staff smoke drugs while they work, it gets into your apartment, it is horrific. DO NOT RENT HERE unless you hate yourself.
Property Manager at Caden, Responded To This Review
We know that improving a community can be frustrating for residents because of everything that comes with construction but the end result will yield a beautiful property for us to share. The new siding project is complete and we are installing new patio/balcony railing throughout the property. We are also painting and changing the overall look of the community. The pool will be accessible for the first time in years. Our next project is to repave and re-stripe the parking lot. Last, we are adding a dog park and picnic area for residents to enjoy. Wyndham Pointe is professionally managed, we do not allow staff members to engage in illegal activities at all. Currently, I have not received any complaints regarding your claim. If you have any concerns about issues on property, please come by the office and speak with management immediately. As always, we welcome your feedback and hope you can continue to enjoy the many improvements we have brought to the community. Thank you! Wyndham Pointe Management
I have lived here for going on 2 years now, and I think it it horrible. New management has made some cosmetic changes to the outside of the buildings, but thats as far as it goes. I recently put in a work order, and instead of fixing the issue, they told me it was broken and would have to be replaced, yet they never followed through with the replacement. They also have brought in a new payment system where you pay online, yet every time I go to the website my computer says either that it cannot find the website portal, or it could be a malicious site trying to steal my passwords and information. Being that it was just the holiday, I could not cash my check or deposit it in bank until after the 1st, now since the website wont work for me and there is nobody in the office to accept my payment, they will surely try to charge me a late fee for the rent. Also with these so called changes they are making, by checking the website i can clearly see that they have yet again raised rent. I just had a raise in rent in 2015 by $80 a month, now its gonna be another $60 a month increase, the price is clearly getting out of hand. There is no grass in the area where my child would like to play, instead there is nothing but sand and rusty nails from the lack of clean up after the workers do their jobs. We are also expected to feel safer cause we live in a gated community, but ever since new management took over, the gave has never closed, it has been deactivated. I don't feel safe when anybody who wants can just stroll right through the gate without even having a reason to be here. All in all I will be moving when my lease is up.
Property Manager at Caden, Responded To This Review
While we cannot speak for the time in which we were not managing Wyndham, we can say it is truly unfortunate that you have had such an experience. We took over the property in September of 2015 and since then have been working diligently to improve the property inside and out. At this moment we are working on replacing siding and gutters on all buildings. We are also painting and fixing exterior structural issues. Once this is complete, we are going to re-pave and repair the entire parking lot on property. We are also taking steps in building a dog park near the rear of the property where the tennis court is. The gate will be repaired soon but we encountered some unforeseen issues in getting it operational. As with any business, we must gather bids in order to make the best decision for our property. We would like to have a telephonic call box installed so residents no longer have to meet their visitors at the gate. Instead, visitors can call their number through the call box and get buzzed in through the phone. This is a better option for residents and an upgrade from the previous system. As with any construction project, it will take time before the property will be completed but when it is done, the result will be wonderful. As far as your work order is concerned, please come by the office and speak with us so we can resolve the problem in your apartment. If we failed to replace an item in your apartment, we will be more than happy to address it with you. The portal you are referring to has been used by multiple residents without any issue. We have found that some residents have been going to the incorrect site and once directed to the new one, have no issues. If you come by the office, we will gladly give you the notice we sent out to all residents with the correct portal address. This way we can ensure you are able to use the portal at your convenience. During the holidays we did not charge late fees for anyone who brought their rent in on the 4th of January as a courtesy to all residents. As with any other month, you cannot pay rent online or with a check when it is late but the extra day gave you time to bring in your rent without a late fee. Also, cash is never accepted. The pricing on our website are for upgraded apartment homes. These homes are getting brand new flooring, appliances and counter tops so the rental rates are increased. While we are sad to see you go, we wish you all the best in finding a new home. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our property. Sincerely, Wyndham Pointe Management
my husband and I are grateful to fined such a place to live, moving out from parents, getting married, starting new jobs, our place was nothing but understanding and helpful. In the middle of the city, just minuteness away from any downtown and all the universities, our options are limitless.

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate the feedback!
Price is fair but you can tell management is money shy on repair to the complex. Bare plywood is showing on most buildings except for those facing the road, which they have just had recently painted. Insulation does little to no good resulting in large electric bills. Unfortunately, roaches are an issue, and management has been more than happy to come by and spray often. However, the spraying does little to no good and it becomes a hassle with them constantly needing to come into my apartment. The roads inside the complex are terrible, with large potholes everywhere. After two years of living here i would say its time to look elsewhere.
Property Manager at Caden, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. New management took over the property on September 23, 2015. Our main goal in taking over Wyndham Pointe is improvement. We have started exterior and interior renovations of the property, in an effort to beautify our property and your home. Included in our exterior transformations are the re-paving and re-striping of the cement within the community. We only ask that residents are patient with us as we undergo this process. Our pest control company is on site every Thursday. All residents have the opportunity to be placed on the pest control list to be sprayed. If for some reason the issue is not resolved, we can schedule a specialized service for your apartment home. Once again, thank you for your review and we hope you will continue to call Wyndham your home!
Great place to live with reasonable rent and apartments. Would recommend them over anyone else in the area.

Thank you so much for your review! We truly appreciate you!
Been here about four months now and I'm very happy :) The complex is quiet, very affordable, and the staff is quick to address any issues whatsoever. I would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the Fort Worth/Arlington area! -Alicia B.
Knowing nothing about Texas, I moved in here in June just after reading all the previous reviews. One of the best environment any apartment can provide. The surroundings are well protected, pool is excellent, washer/dryers are a plenty and function perfectly. Servicing is just a call away and they accommodate it as per your convenience. Perfect place for offspring, young and old to live together and enjoy. Best place within the locality.
I have been here since April of 2013, since i have lived here i have gotten to enjoy the eight foot deep pool! I have met great neighbors! And if ever there is an issue at my apatment I can call and get it fixed within two days. I really enjoy living here. I feel real comfortable here and who can beat these rates? Its overall a wonderful place to live!
My husband and I will be moving to this complex in a month, as of now we live a little over 2 hours away, we visited once, I was very! impressed that they actually close their gates, everything is being re-renovated, we actually got to view the room we where interested in, the pool looked amazing! even when it was closed cause it was still to cold, the lady whom helped us was so professional but at the same time just flat out fun to talk to, she's capable of helping more than one person at once, someone came in behind us after a whill and she did NOT ignore her, she helped her and us at the same time, another thing I was impressed with. But what I love the most! is that we are mailing and emailing everything back to them instead of making many trips up there, they actually work with us being so far so we don't have to take days off and spend gas and eating out money just to hand in a form, she pre-writes everything for us than emails the document for us to read, we sign than mail it back, this place and the employers are AMAZING! and there's a Wendy's (amongst everythign else) 2 mins away, I love their frosty's
I've been here 6 months now, and rarely have I seen a staff that takes as much personal interest in their tenants. Any maintenance problem I've had was immediately seen too. The value for the price is amazing. I highly recommend this complex. In addition they are in the process of making our home even better with upgrades happening everyday.
