West Tuscaloosa is a sprawling suburb just minutes from the city’s downtown district. Students of the University of Alabama and renters who work in the city’s business district appreciate the area’s central location. The majority of apartments, houses, and condos available for rent sit on the eastern side of Interstate 359 nearing the university. Make the short walk to Bryant-Denny Stadium to cheer on the Crimson Tide at their home field, explore the Alabama Museum of Natural History, or take a trip to the Paul W. Bryant Museum. Housing options in West Tuscaloosa are very affordable, making it the ideal suburb for renters on a tight budget.

Property Ratings at Caleb House
My complex was such a quiet place. Attentive almost nosey yet friendly neighbors. Everyone knows everyone. We were able to borrow sugar from each other. Living in a college town especially the home of the Crimson Tide, you learn that location is key. In this town buildings go up daily consequently increasing & decreasing the worth of every building standing. The closer you stay to campus, (I am within walking distance) the higher the rent will be. In a small town like this, the students run things! When school is in session, the town screams with activity. When the students leave, so does the life in this town.
