Great apartments! I just moved in and I couldn’t be happier. The transition was so smooth. The office managers are amazing. The unit was in great condition ready to go. The top of the cabinets could use some cleaning but overall better than most places in my opinion. 100% recommend so far!

Plumbing problem We were without one of our bathrooms for 6 days. The time it took to get plumbers to actually fix the problem was horrible. The maintenance staff was actually really amazing, Zack went above and beyond to help and even made sure we had the carpets taken care of properly right away, not later like the office staff thought was ok. Our experience would have been much worse were it not for Zack. He was dedicated to making it right and helping as much as possible. We’ve still been waiting to hear back from the office staff for days and multiple promises to call back.

Valet Trash Valet trash is supposed to come every night, I would say they come about 50% of the time and it’s usually past 10:00 pm.

Beautiful property The property was beautiful, the apartment nice, and Iliana was great! This apartment was second choice only due to location and some amenities.

My leasing was about 20% more after 1 year. I gave the deposit fees before, but when I left I had to pay a lot more, even tho my apartment was in perfect condition. For: I payed for paintings (ok) but they charged $60 more only to close little holes in the walls. I payed $110 to clean(ok) but they charged $50 just to remove one almost empty bag of trash I left there to the guys that made the moving use, etc, etc SO, BE READY TO PAY ALMOST 20% MORE after one year and a lot of fees!!!
This place is somewhere everyone should try and avoid unless they want to be let down with what is provided and what comes after you move out. I lived here at apt 1702 for 3 years. At first it was great then FPI management took over everything went down hill and still is now. This place was poorly built and the walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear others having conversations with whom ever you share a wall with. There have been numerous times that the Broomfield fire department shows up because the fire alarms will randomly go off and not stop. Caliber told me twice that someone was going to come into my unit to replace a wall switch that was supposedly the fix but no one ever showed up to replace anything both times. I had an emergency leak happen near the end of my time at Caliber and when I tried to use the emergency line it was inconveniently not working because the people who work here do the bare minimum of their job to make sure there tenants are satisfied. Today when I called after receiving my final bill and I spoke with the assistant manager Shannon to ask questions about my bill. The first thing she told me was that I was going to be taken to collections in 2 days since I had not paid but had only just received the bill that day in the mail. It turns out Caliber sent the bill and for what ever reason it was sent back to the sender (Address was correct) so instead of calling my wife or I they put it back in another envelope and sent it again. I asked Shannon why we didn't receive any kind of call or notice she happily replied thats not her job. Now does that sound like a company you would want to rent from? Please take my advice and others who have posted and stay away from this place.
I read some negative reviews and was a bit nervous, however, I have been very pleased with our experience so far. Getting our keys was easy and we had two work order items to submit and we had someone here that same day to work on them. Also the apartment is beautiful for a great price.
FPI Management is the laziest property management company I've ever come across. I rented at Caliber at Flatirons for a year and while the previous management company (not FPI) was satisfactory, when FPI took over I couldn't wait to move out. This company is not responsive at all when you're a current resident, taking up to 2 weeks and over 5 emails that I had to escalate to the community director to get any kind of response. FPI did not take COVID-19 precautions seriously either. I saw leasing agents showing properties without wearing face coverings, and when going to the front office also saw that their masks remained off even when meeting with residents. They asked to enter our apartment multiple times during the pandemic for a basic "inspection" which does not justify coming into someone's home (likely without masks) for the safety risk - if it was an emergency, absolutely. Communication within FPI's team at Caliber at Flatirons was pitiful. They leave pieces of paper attached to a clip on your door instead of calling or emailing the resident directly. Sometimes I wouldn't even see the notices because I entered the apartment using the garage! Upon move out we were told by the leasing office that we were responsible for patching all nail holes and painting the walls(??), however after emailing the community director we were told that is not the case. How are instructions for residents like this being miscommunicated within their own team? We were mailed a bill (now that we're moved out) from FPI asking us to pay for paint and cleaning fees which I now get to debate with their company. Very thankful that we don't have to rent again but please STEER CLEAR of renting anywhere that is managed by FPI.
I have been disappointed with the experience here. I feel like they cut every corner possible in construction but added granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances to sell it as luxury. In the very short time I’ve been here there’s been a handful of problems and it’s a brand new apartment. Move in was delayed for 2 weeks because there was a leak in the roof. The next time it snowed, water poured into the bedroom. The next time is snowed, same problem. The refrigerator ice maker leaks all over the floor so had to turn it off. Water in shower only stays hot for about 10 minutes before becoming luke warm. They literally forgot to add screens to the windows so I can’t open them without bugs flying in. It’s been 2.5 months and still no screens. The worst issue is I got a top floor apartment to avoid noise above me and the air conditioning units vibrate through the ceiling so loudly that I have to wear earplugs to bed. It’s horrible. The management has just changed and the old staff was actually the best part. They responded immediately and everyone loved them which if you read the earlier reviews is a big part of the ratings. I can’t even get the new staff to return a phone call. When you are able to talk to them, they can’t help with anything. It’s so sad that a company and people could care this little. I’m just so disappointed and frustrated and don’t know what to do.
Apt. in the big building 1 bed 1 bath 1)The first months electric was double of what the following month's electric was. Document meter reading on day one if you move in.(located outside of building labeled by apartment number)Generally $3.70ish a day but first month was closer to $6.80 a day. (weird and still don't know why and other neighbors had a similar issue ) 2)This is an all electric apartment including electric heat. Nothing is energy star rated. (check appliances when you tour) 3)Hot water tank is not set up to fill the inviting bath-tub and it gets Luke warm at best. Can not adjust the hot water tank as it is behind a locked door along with the air handler filter. (weird) 4)A billing service has been contracted out to consolidate the bills for valet trash, community gas, community lighting, water, and sewage. $85ish a month with lots of fees and no idea how or if they get audited. 5)Parking will be a problem when the community fills up. 6)Drafty windows and exterior doors. 7)The biggest problem is the lack of sound proofing between floors. I am sure at some point they will have to install carpet with thick padding in the apartments because you can literally hear people walking on the floor above. Summery: Great Staff, Great Location, poor building quality and efficacy.
The staff is amazing! It's really nice to trust the people who run the property.
