This has been the worst experience I had applying for an apartment. Here's why: 1. The website indicated 2-5 days response on the application, but it has been almost two weeks since I submitted my application and no response yet. All I got was daily promotional junk mail from them. 2. No one ever picked up the phone. I tried calling throughout the day on multiple days. No luck. 3. I left multiple voice messages. No follow up. 4. I drove down from LA to the leasing office. It was closed even though the business hours shown on the website indicated that it should be opened. 5. There was a contact email taped on to the leasing office door. That email bounced back immediately. So there you go. You submitted your application and your $150 NON REFUNDABLE deposit and they disappeared on you. During the time of crisis like this, California Villages proves to be a shining example of corporate greed. Do not waste your time and money on this place. Look somewhere else.
I don’t even know where to begin! Management sucks! You can never get ahold of someone! They allow other renters to party and smoke weed all hours of the night! They have assigned parking places but everyone parks where they please! They don’t do anything about it, so your forced to park elsewhere! They drag their feet on fixing anything that goes wrong! If you happen to get in contact with someone about a complaint or a fix, nothing is done or you don’t receive a call back from anyone in the office! They have been double charging on utilities for 2months because “change of management”! They didn’t charge prior months and now are double charging! It’s a headache plz save ur money and look else where!
I am living here it’s really great community and the management team is super friendly and helpful.
Don't live here, trust me you will hate it! It looks well maintained but once you start living here, you will realize there are pests, bad management and lies all around. You will not get your security deposit back no matter how clean and nice your apartment is returned to them, they don't care. They will keep almost all your security deposit, scam. The appliances are super old and very hard to use. Dishwasher is obnoxiously loud, the stove is one of those old stoves that is on ALL THE TIME. We smelled gas quite a few times in the apartment when the fire in the stove went out and so the gas is leaking all the time. Management doesn't care!
This condo-style apartment is beyond my expectations in terms of comfort, design, and space. We just moved in last February, and already, we love it here. One of the features I like is the open kitchen. Everyone can move freely and not bump into each other. Also, there's the vanity area with granite counter top that is so easy to keep clean. The bedrooms are spacious and airy. What did it for me is that almost one side of the apartment is covered with glass - Sunshine,sunshine,sunshine! I can't ask for more. The service is great! Maria and Emily make sure that you are comfortable. They are quick to respond once your order is placed. We feel safe here. (I hope though, that something will be done with those cars coming from 7 Eleven in the wrong direction). It is quiet, peaceful, and our neighbors are friendly. Thanks much, Maria and Emily!

This apartment is most likely expensive compared to among other apartments around the area. Having said so, because the based rental was being excluded with the other break down of monthly distribution of expenses of utilities like the electricities, thrush, water, & lawn maintenance.
We have lived in this complex for a little over two years. The community is great, it is well kept, quiet, and family friendly. We were very fortunate to find this complex at a very reasonable price. If you take into account the central air, upgraded amenities, the security patrol, and the friendly and responsive staff, then the prices are not bad at all. Overall we recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in a modern upgraded, and quiet community...who doesn't?

I been living in the California village apartments now for a little over a year. The area is nice and quiet and there are many schools and shopping places really close by. The apartments have electric gates that do cause sometimes a bit of a headache. I sometimes find myself outside waiting for my remote to work or for someone else to open the gate so I could come in. The train tracks are right across the street but I forget it's there because the noise is not a problem. They are also pretty quick to fix a problem the moment you put in the work order. Friendly neighborhood and they have security patrolling the area. I feel safe living here with my family.
