A major suburb of Austin, Cedar Park gets you right into the area without having to live in the big city. I have nothing but good things to say about the Caliza. Leticia has managed 2 other properties I have lived at. It is really ironic that she took over the Caliza now; after the prior manager who was also excellent had to relocate to another property. It is really funny because I joke around with her that she relocated me from Boston 10 yrs ago ( which is true) and now randomly reunited. She is prompt, professional, cares about residents and it is a breath of fresh air in property management. The location here is excellent across the street is the mall but it is super quiet, everything is walkable. By north Austin/Cedar Park standards it is like east coast walkable. Shopping, restaurants, are minutes away. The leasing office has free starbucks coffee, is open 24 hrs, the fitness center and pool are top-notch. The floor plans are great, and everything looks super modern. Most importantly, the rent rates here are incredible for the location. I will also say that Jiselle the leasing agent is extremely friendly, caring and personable. Chris who heads maintenance does an amazing job as well. He is humble, really great at his job and one of the most friendly maintenance people you will meet. I recommend living here.

We started leasing in 2021 and renewed 2022 and decided to renew again with our lease ending in 2025. The old owners and management were incompetent. Those days were over when Wood bought the property and Natalie became manager. Emperical evidence of this is... 1) A new, professional, timely and frequent email communication for new policies, maintenance alerts, and community events. 2) The American Disibilities Act (ADA) requires elevators to be maintained with limited out of service times. There are advanced emails with planned windows of out of service...and wait for it...the elevators now work consistently. Being disabled with a disabled spouse, this is critical. We feel more secure in our own homes now the elevators are consistently in service! 3) There have been many property improvements and maitnenance that was not addressed by the previous management. And we now benefit from these recent improvements and appreciate that there are emails announcing the limited inconviences. 4) Questions are honestly and directly answered. All staff members are kind and helpful. And Natalie has built a team whose actions bring a better quality of living for residents. We considered moving, and I read reviews at many "upscale" properties; however, after reading their recent reviews, I quickly reconsidered and signed a new lease with Caliza. When you lease you are also paying for a management service not merely a residence. Consider leasing at Caliza for a trustworty management team and a beautiful and well kemp residence.
When I decided to apartment hunt, Caliza was the first community I toured. I did not look any further after seeing the property amenities, touring an apartment, and being treated with kindness and professionalism by all the staff members including the property manager. The pool area, gym, clubhouse, and overall property was beautiful and it was clear they wanted to live up to their claim of being a luxury living complex. I love it here and the location with so much to do in the area, great school district, and convenience to highways was exactly what I wanted.
The community overall is great. Very quiet community, friendly people and staff, great price for nice apartments in cedar park.
I am very satisfied in living here at Caliza apartments, love that I have no issues with me living here and no issues parking everyone is friendly and if I have something that needs to be fixed they come immediately so very satisfied and comfortable here at Caliza apartments!
I love the community but totally unsatisfied with the parking spaces. My car has vandalized and been hit multiple times.
Elevator is constantly down. Price of rent is too high for what it is.
The move in experience was great! Everything was finalized in a timely manner, and Natalie was very well informed about the specific unit as we communicated via phone, email, and in person. The community events, amenities, and overall living experience have been great so far.
Apartments are nice, a little small for the price to be honest. Great management and maintenance is normally quick. I just wish rent was less, because is a little far from downtown Austin, no dining area, is just the counter of the kitchen where you could place some barstools, and the apartments are kinda tight for the price.
Apartment layout are good. But stair, halls, mail room and areas need to be very washed. Really poor conditions.

I had first visited with Nelly and let her know my lease was up December 11th. She explained I’d get 1-month free with a 10 or 15 month lease. Then I went back a few days later & met with Austin, I let him know my lease was up December 11th. He also stated I get 1-month free on a 10 or 15 month lease. That same day I applied for the apartment with the sole intention of using the special to reduce the monthly rate. After applying and being approved I asked if the 1-month free would be applied at a later date, Christin responded saying “ The one month free is if you move in before November 30th. I see you're set for December 3rd. Correct?” These deadlines were never mentioned and I let her know that. I explained the whole situation again and her response was “The special is once month free with a 13 month lease and must move in by 11/30/22. Since it is only a few days before your move in date, we can find something that works with that if you like!” So now I’m being told 3 different specials. I decided to not move forward, and now they do not want to refund me for the Security Deposit for a lease that I never signed, and an application overcharge that she said she would give to me as a credit. Neither the team, nor the management company I reached out to want to help.
Well I was not going to leave a review about this complex after I moved out but after I got billed for full paint and a shampoo after living there for 2 years. The unit only needed some touch up paint, but not a full paint job. I also had hired someone to clean the carpets as it was requested in the move out instructions for them to come back in bill me later on. That is only the move out. While I was a resident the gates almost never worked and I mean most of the year the gates where open. I live near the back walking gate that was always left open. I had complained about this gate being left open all the time due to the fact there were multiple homeless camps on the other side of it. There was multiple times cars were broken into, also package theft is a normal thing there. I wanted caliza to pay for my windshield after a piece of the carport that had been broken for months finally broke off and made a big Crack in my windshield. The manager was really rude about the whole situation and told me to claim it on my auto insurance and when I asked to talk to corporate she gave me a number to a call center that I had called multiple times with no response back from anyone. I had emailed the manager about what steps they were doing for security of the complex once again no response. They will come by and take photos of trash cans left out but don't care about a full on automobile shops in the parking lot. Parking would be better if there wasn't so many broken down cars. If you are looking for luxury apartment complex this is not it.
My experiences the first month: broken elevators upon move in when it was 112 degrees. Apartment was not ready, and stove and damaged doors had to be replaced. The first night my shower ceiling flooded from above. It still isn't repaired. Apartment was infested with fire ants in my bedroom. I have not had one peaceful weekend here as my neighbors left their dogs for days barking and did not come home. This was repeated again the next weekend. Management refuses to do anything saying "its normal" noise. The building is extremely poorly constructed making the noise issues unbelievable. Street racing goes on every weekend until the wee hours of the morning on Ridgeline endangering other drivers and pedestrians and making sure you will get no sleep if you are in a building facing the street. I was supposed to have a working tag on my vehicle to open the gate, which still has not happened, so I get to get out in the rain to use a plastic fob. There is no secure package pickup as in other "luxury" apartments, you just better trust your neighbors. They spent money on painting murals on the building instead of fixing the maintenance problems in tenants' apartments. To call this "luxury living" is such a joke, you will cry every time you get in your stinking elevator full of dog pee dribbles. Finally, on inquiring about my lease I asked the property manager if there would be construction near the building beginning as I saw the surveyor stakes next to the building. I was told no. I came back to move in and guess what? A huge multi year highway construction staging zone had begun for 183 a block away. Your paid parking space doesn't allow you to exit or enter without difficulty as the lot is too narrow. Overpriced and terrible management.
I think all these bad quality reviews are from the non-main buildings. Which I can’t confirm or deny about, but the main building with the elevators is really nice. Insulated on the inside as well! I could literally blast music and my roommate could sleep ! No noise complaints from above. It was great. Although, management was crappy. Managers in and out. The current lady is nice, very efficient, great customer service, and does her job when you walk in the office, but it’s impossible to get ahold over the phone or email. I had over $3000 of stuff stolen from my garage. It had a constant issue of opening without even touching the opener! Literally just opened one night and someone cleaned it out. I got nothing but a “sorry”. Like what is renters insurance for?!? Also had a leak in our roof that, of course, was directly above my PC and monitor, again, all I got was a “sorry” and said there was nothing that could be done. WHY PAY FOR RENTERS INSURANCE??!? Please explain someone. Other than that, this place is alright. Not as bad as the 1 star reviews say. Main building is luxurious for sure.
If I could give this less than a 1 star I would. This is absolutely the worst run apartment complex I have ever seen or been a part of. They have been through 3 managers since I’ve been here and current management is by far the worse. They take absolutely ZERO responsibility for anything that happens on there property. They have continuously messed up our finances. Homeless, theft, vandalism, and false promises are all you can count on while living here.
This place advertises “luxury apartment”, however is rather a cheaply built nightmare. I have work experience in the apt industry and write this review with that in mind. Moral of this review: AVOID THIS PLACE due to management and the quality of construction inside/outside the units. Greystar original owned this apt complex the first year it was open. The company sold it after a couple of years likely due to the number of issues, most of which were carried over to the new management. The new management is kind in person, however, impossible to get a hold of via phone/email. The amenities look great, however, the equipment in the gym is a cheaper fitness brand that is already falling apart after the first year of use. The place was built cheap. Corners chip upon the faintest impact, Dishwasher will NOT dry your items, and the cabinet trim is already coming off after a year of use. Upon moving out, we offered to professionally clean the carpets and was denied that right due to them having their “preferred cleaners”. We cleaned the whole unit and took video of the job upon completion. To our dismay, they withheld our $450 deposit and wanted to charge us an additional $375. “Settling the dispute” is a joke. Even with proof, the debate was unprofessionally handled and an overall mess. Result of the matter, we never received our deposit back. Heed caution with this place. The new management “improving” the place is an illusion. The place was built cheap, and quick. YOU ARE JUST ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THEIR EYES. One pro of the place was that the cleaning lady is the sweetest, kindest soul. Talking to her in the clubhouse whenever I visited the gym was the one positive experience I take away from this place.
If you are thinking of living here DON'T!!! We had moved in March 2020 and even the entire time living there for a year was an absolute mess. Maintenance would take forever, elevator was constantly out of service and management is terrible. We were also told gym and clubhouse would be 24/7 and they decided not to and made hours 9-6, which basically can not be used if you have a job. Also the apartment was cheaply made, drywall would fall off corners by barely bumping and paint can be seen on floors and doors. The one time Luxer was finally installed, all packages were placed in a room with Luxer just allowing you to go in. Turned out the room gotten broken into and packages were stolen. Overall, management is hard to get a hold of and does not really care about your experience living there and try to cut corners in every aspect. If this apartment was $300 a less a month and wasn't considered luxury, then maybe worth the issues. There is a reason this apartment is now on it is second owner and second property management.
There is absolutely no insulation in the apartments. I’ve submitted multiple noise complaints and the office doesn’t do anything. Unless you want to be waken up by your neighbors music at all hours, steer clear!
We've had an incredible and memorable experience from the moment I had my virtual tour with MaKayla (in August!) to the days following our very first day in our new home (in December). Enough that I felt confident enough in having signed a lease based on what I saw virtually and what was communicated both via email and through the Caliza website (the interactive community map is so useful)! The apartments are stunning as the finishes and surfaces are exactly what I would have chosen had I designed the space myself, and the layouts are thoughtful (e.g. open floor plan in common area, walk in closets, tons of storage, the window treatments are high quality). Every community team member that I've reached out to and connected with has been responsive, knowledgeable, and expressed the utmost kindness and bias towards action and solution. Finally, I appreciate the location of our community as it is across the street from a shopping mall that hosts a wonderful farmer's market every Saturday, and it is conveniently located close to major supermarkets, stores, banks, and major freeways. Moving from the west coast was a very big deal for our family, and we are so thankful to have settled in here at the Caliza community.
