I rented from here for 2 years. Save yourself the headache of living here. The first year was great especially as I was moving from out of state during peak COVID shutdowns. Upon my year lease renewal, the problems started. Refusal to give me a year lease (6,7,8, and 9 months were offered). The same thing occurred the second renewal term with a significant increase in rent (1,2,3,4,5, and 6 month terms were offered). Upon move out I never received a statement within the 21 days. Instead, I had to contact their corporate office myself to find out additional move out charges had been added in addition to keeping my security deposit. Had I not done this I likely would have been sent to collections. The negative reviews regarding Callen are true, read through them before you apply for an apartment. Safety wise, the gate has been broken for nearly a year and there were several instances of a man outside my apartment complex yelling, crying, and breaking things during the summer of 2021. I paid rent on time and paid for professional cleaners when I moved out. If you do rent from here know your tenant rights and be aware you will likely owe money upon move out.

Other than the dog problem. This is a nice are to live but very noisy at times due to the dogs barking all the time.

Callen Is a very nice community located perfectly in hawks prairie area of Lacey. it's easy to get to the freeway, shopping is close by the amenities are nice there are a lot of military veterans and current military people who live here.

I love my new home at Callen! The layout allowed me to setup a home where each section is divided (kitchen, living room, bedroom) and feels cozy! Staff is super nice and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone has been very nice and friendly! My toddler also loves it here and we are thankful to have found our new home here.

office staff sweeps every problem under the rug. They invalidate your concerns and needs and instead makes excuses and accuses you for them. They belittle you. We had a mold problem since we were the ground floor and they assumed it was because we didn’t wipe our windows down often, when it was us wiping our windows down that found the black mold to begin with. When my husband went to speak with them explaining that I’m pregnant and high risk given I also have asthma they told us to clean it ourselves and it happens in ground floor apartments. We tried to break our lease and they want to charge us every month until our lease is up. They also refused to do a mold test and instead called it mildew and swept it under the rug DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Good location. Gabby is great manager and is very helpful in times of need. Dog park is a good touch.
So far I am very happy with my apartment design, upgrades, and parking. The concierge service seems to be a nice feature. Everthing is tidy, well cared for, and well organized.

Brittany Lane apartments are very nice, property is clean and well maintained. Staff in the office as well as with the maintenance staff are very kind and helpful. Apartments have been remodeled nicely. Rent seems high but actually is comparable to the rent structures in this area. No regrets moving here over a year ago.
Old apartment, with old and. Token appliances such a fridge, washer/dryer and faucets!! We moved in and have 2 water leakages within 1 week. Our faucets handles had mold in it and everything breaks easily since everything is old. Also our windows were extremely dirty upon move in if I would have known that this place only cares if the lawn is mown but not how the apartments look like i would have never moved here. Outside nice, inside dirty and nasty. Can’t wait until my lease is over and ready to move somewhere better

Great community, priced within the range for what you get out of it. Its a solid 7-8/10. But of course thats just based off of opinion and definitely worth checking out.

Don't rent from this place? Management ignore valued tenants complaints regarding how other tenants that's just moved would have loud music and arguing at late hours of the night. Instead of citing them they asking which apartment or tenant is making the complain.im not a tenant but I'm a visitor and I've sent an emailed to management is asking me who I'm visiting and which apartment. That don't matter do your job and fix the problem with the tenants that are disturbing other valued tenants!!! They need to get them out because reading other reviews these are the same tenants that I'm referring to !!
If I had known how dirty the apartment would be upon move in, I would have never moved in. The apartment was filthy, there were broken appliances, and remnants of a previous pet. Although the manager tried to address each issue, there are simply too many issues and Mission Rock only cares about its' bottom line. Don't rent from this place. I can't wait until my lease is up!
Do not recommend this place. The office management is horrible. The things that come with the appartment are cheap and break easily. I got an apartment with broken stuff already. It was horrible. Bathroom was dirty. Paint stains everywhere in the counter. I had to point all that out to management so they do not charge me for all that at the end of my lease. However, they find a way to charge you for something anyways. The office doesnt help you at all. They make mistakes all the time and are way too arrogant to admit their mistakes. So they just laugh at it (like if u were laughing too). and it stinks because somehow the dumpster they have gets overflowed some times per month. So, you never know what illnesses this is causing you. Oh and try not to pay anything extra because they will find a way to keep your money to them. They say it is the move out expenses and even if you clean the apartment even cleaner than when they gave u the appartment, they still charge you. They give you all the excuses possible to keep your money. Do not stay there. Management is really bad and the price of those appartments is not worth the money you pay for them at all. I moved out of there as soon as my lease ended and found a way better place. Im not going back to those apartments and I do not recommned them to anybody.

I'm in the United States military which gives me the opportunity to move across the country, and even other countries. Therefore giving me a good understanding of good and bad apartments. "Brittany Lane Apartments" is a great place to live with higher than average facility's. Their pool is clean, along with the weight room, and hot tub area. All of the facilities activity areas are pass code locked so no worry of strangers or people who don't belong. They also have different size apartments that give you options to best accommodate your family. The location could not be any better! You are less than 5 miles away from multiple fast food chain restaurants, grocery stores, thrift shops, hardware stores, and even a commercial gym. Living here raises the bar on future housing accommodations I will seek in the future. Over all "Brittany Lane Apartments" is a quiet, clean, convenient, and affordable place to set up your new home.
