Property Ratings at Camellia - Magnolia Gardens Apartments
Safe and quite apartments at a walking distance from the University of Memphis. I have stayed year for seven years and the management responds to any requests promptly. The shopping plaza is also nearby which is a plus!
I lived in Camellia - Magnolia Gardens Apartments for six years and I really enjoyed living here. The property is well maintained and the staffs are friendly. The apartment rent is great and the maintenance issues are timely addressed. I also recommended the apartments to my friends and would recommend the one to anybody looking for a nice quiet place to live.
My child and I lived here for over 5 years and can't recommend them enough if you are looking for a safe, clean, & extremely affordable place to live. They are small enough where you get the benefit of having property owners who actually care about you and address issues immediately. Maintenance is super responsive, they have a monthly pest control contract (never had any issues with bugs, etc.), and the neighbors are friendly and considerate. The apartments were built in the 40s but have been maintained well. There's laundry facilities on site, decent parking, & it's within walking distance to University of Memphis. When the pandemic hit, they were understanding of everyone's financial situation and really worked with tenants. This meant a lot to the people living there. In 2020, I decided to purchase my first home. They helped me navigate my lease and were very accommodating while I house hunted in a crazy housing market. I wouldn't have had the same experience living in an apartment owned by corporations/big investors. 5 stars, I'd live here again.
I'm in a two bedroom town home. This apartment is in a nice location and is very private. The residents are all very polite and keep to theirselves most of the time. There is a security guard who drives around nightly. The only negatives are that the kitchen is tiny, and there are not really any appliances. There's a laundry mat on site though.
