With its charming and historic downtown, brick-paved sidewalks, and rolling green hills Jackson is a hidden gem. It is located off I-40, roughly halfway between Memphis and Nashville. It is the county seat of Madison County, and it is home to several colleges and universities, including Jackson State Community College, the University of Memphis at Lambuth, and Union University. It's also the location of the Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame and the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum.
When Jackson residents want to shop, they have plenty of options: Shoppes at the Columns is an outdoor shopping area filled with well-known stores and restaurants. Old Hickory Mall, an indoor shopping mall, is located off Old Hickory Boulevard and is surrounded by smaller strip malls. At Fairgrounds Park, residents can peruse the items at Friendly Frank's Flea Market. For fresh produce, they head to the West Tennessee Farmer's Market.

The apartments are not professionally cleaned between tenants. The dishwasher had broken glass and food trapped inside the spray bar. Boiling a pot of water on the stove sets off the fire alarm. Maintenance takes days or weeks to show up, sometimes taking multiples to fix a problem.

This is the perfect apartment if you're looking for a beautiful space -- a short distance to the city, with wonderful restaurants and shopping centers. The lawns are well-maintained and the residents are always looking to help another. Unlike other apartments in this area, this apartment includes a 24/7 gym, dog park, and on-site pool with lounge chairs and dining tables. If you're searching for the perfect place to start out in a growing city, Camellia Trace is the apartment for you!
If you ever think of/are in need of moving to Jackson, TN; Camellia Trace Apartments should be your one and only option. Lets face it-Jackson can get a bit rough as far as crime goes. An influx of people from Memphis are moving up from the near South and into Jackson. Bringing a lot of "bad weather" with them. However, North Jackson (Camellia Trace is as North as it gets) is like an "Elysium" if you will. Located next to US HWY 45/Bypass, you can quickly enter or leave or area and get right to all of pretty locales and vast amounts of amenities Jackson has to offer! To note, its not so close to where there's noise pollution. It's quiet and peaceful actually. Please. I implore you. Trust Camellia Trace. It couldn't be located in a better place! The neighbors are kind, there's a pool/fitness center, it's very pet friendly, and the apartments themselves are cozy. Most importantly though, the community is safe. Very few parking spots, but it's a small issue as there is a guest parking lot a minute away walking distance from where you will be. Danger is only present for those who are afraid of it, but please make a smart choice-Camellia Trace Apartments!
I had a house and never dreamed that I would be living in a apartment. After looking around at all the other apartments in the area, there was no doubt that this was the one! The amenities are endless. The grounds are spectacular, great location, dog park, intrusion alarms, valet trash, car care center and so much more! The open entertainment style kitchen is fabulous so I can cook and watch tv and my little ones at the same time. I have lived here for a year now and can't imagine ever moving again! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I have lived in Camellia Trace for almost 2 years. It is a family friendly complex that is very safe. I have a 3 bedroom and utilities are very affordable. They have a valet trash pick up service that is very convenient. In my opinion the rent is a little high but worth it for the amenities.
A 1br is over $700. They moved me into an apartment with windows that are so dirty (from inside the double panes) that you cannot see out. The place is WAY over priced compared to other apartment communities and the rent keeps going up. There isn't a quarter machine in the laundry room and their "gym" is never cleaned. The equipment gets reset so that it won't come on. This place is NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Go somewhere with other amenities, like free gym membership and dog park. The only plus is that is is close to Kroger and the Post Office.
