Saginaw is a Central Michigan community with lots of comforting conveniences. Once a prospering lumber town, it soon became a thriving car manufacturing center until arriving at clean energy innovation and production.
Served by two local colleges (Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University), residents and students alike enjoy its focus on academics. Downtown Saginaw is the area’s entertainment district – the local symphony performs regular concerts at Temple Theatre.
Just minutes from their apartments, residents enjoy the community’s farmers market for seasonal flowers, produce, and baked goods. Locals have direct access to Interstates 75 and 675, golf courses, Hoyt Park’s zoo, and Fashion Square Mall. Spirit is a local sports team that belongs to the Ontario Hockey League and plays at Dow Event Center.

Property Ratings at Camelot Place
The management at Camelot was extremely disappointing and is the direct reason for me breaking my lease and moving out 6 months early. This will be a long post as I had many issues (that I continually made known to management, and they did nothing to correct). Still, all of my problems break down to not having hot water for over 3 weeks, management communication, low-quality maintenance, and lack of respect from management. No hot water: The lease states that the apartment will provide hot water to every unit. I did not have hot water for over 3 weeks, and it was miserable. Not only having to live with no hot water, but the abysmal lack of communication and disrespect from the leasing office about this problem was deeply frustrating. I received NO communication from management about the problem, and I only found out about it after multiple calls to them. Management would not answer when the problem would be fixed and treated me like I was the problem for asking when I would have hot water. When the hot water was finally fixed after 3.5 weeks, management only gave us $100 off the next month's rent. communication: I have many emails (over 15) that no one from the leasing office ever answered. The only time an email got a response was when the leasing office needed money from me. The leasing office hours would change without telling tenants 3 times. I took time off work to stop into the office to discuss an issue in person (because I did not get a response via email or phone). Once I got there, there would be a sign on the door saying the office was closed. When I put in my 60-day notice, I communicated properly and kept the emails to prove it. When I went to turn in my keys, I was told that I never put in my 60-day notice. Camelot then tried to charge me for the next 2 months' rent because they did not mark in their system for 2 MONTHS that I had moved out. I even got mail saying they would evict me when I no longer lived there. Maintenance: maintenance would leave a mess whenever they came to fix something. I would find nails on the ground on my carpet each time they came to fix something. I reported the mess each time, and it was never addressed. I reported that my intercom was broken, and maintenance said that they would think about fixing it, but never did. I had a squirrel living in my ceiling for several months and put in many maintenance requests. I was told after my 3rd request that there was a hole in my roof and they would think about fixing it

I have lived at these apartments for over half of a year. In the beginning, I was very nervous since I was a first time renter. I didn't know much of anything and was scared to take this step. However, the staff at Camelot Place Apartments was/is incredibly nice and understanding. They were incredibly helpful and understood where I was coming from with my needs and questions as a first time renter. The maintenance staff is also incredibly helpful being very prompt with repairs and maintaining the property so well. With all the amenities included with my apartment and for how much my rent is I'm glad I chose Camelot Place Apartments. I know I can rely on them for anything I will need. I definitely have to give a shout out to the Assistant Manager Hillary who showed me the apartment as well as assisted me with the application process. Hillary is the one that sealed the deal in my opinion being as friendly and professional as she was. Definitely happy with my decision.

We have been living here for over year now and love It! We moved in here because we love how spacious the apartments are, and our favorite thing would definitely have to be the indoor pool! The staff is always friendly and are willing to answer any questions. And they always have great events for the kids and raffles. We love it here!

The apartment itself is decent for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the only issue we had was other residents which I understand isn't the apartment complexes fault. We were the in the apartment in front of the playground and it was awful we were on the very bottom and constantly had kids looking in our windows and the parents very rarely were watching their children. Also very disgusting and dirty around our building, other residents didn't pick up dog poop and there was trash all over the ground all the time, even a used condom at one point, absolutely disgusting. The other only issue we really had was maintence, we very rarely had to call them but one day there was a leak above us and water was pouring from our light fixture in the kitchen and they pretty much just blew it off. But all in all the experience was decent.

Making the decision to choose Camelot Place Apartments, here in Saginaw, has been one of the best decisions I have made in my young adult life. Being that I am a college student, living on campus can be very expensive. I mean who wants to pay $3,000 a semester to share bedrooms with strangers and restrict themselves to tiny beds and small living spaces. NOT I. Camelot Place Apartments understood that and made it easy for me to apply and get approved for a fantastic apartment. I can never thank them enough for making my life a little bit easier.
This is a very clean place to live, convenient spot and friendly people
Very quiet and respectful residents here! love the employees, great for families!
Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly during the move-in process, answering all my questions as a first time renter, and making the process easy. In fact, the staff is easily the best part of the experience. Since moving in, they've gone above and beyond more times than I can count, and have consistently had a great sense of humor. A playground, pool, 24 hour workout room, and a common room, all present here. The layout for parking seems complicated, but works well in practice, and there always seems to be parking available. Best of all, there are frequently small parties held in the common areas put on by Camelot Place itself. Good stuff. The area of town isn't bad, and is close enough to the main streets and businesses that you can reach pretty much all of them within fifteen minutes. That said, it is also located right near the railroad tracks, and an elementary school, and that might be a problem during the school year. It's already a somewhat busy road, and there isn't a traffic light to help you leave or enter the complex. Still, I haven't had to wait more than a minute at any one time so far, so it's no big deal. Overall, a great place to live, and you can't beat the price, or the staff. Five stars.

I love the space and layout of the apartments here. The price currently for new residents is GREAT. I however moved in while the price was about 100 dollars more per month so I don't get the price cut unfortunately (I think that's totally unfair considering I'm a resident who pays her rent on time every single month and I am quiet and keep to myself), they should value their loyal residents. They have an awesome heated indoor pool as well as a Jacuzzi, and a fitness center that is supposed to be 24 hrs....HOWEVER, they turn the lights out in their building before they leave for the night so really it's not 24 hr's unless you plan on working out in the dark ha what a joke. Maintenance attends to their calls quite fast with no issues. Everything seems quiet here as well. The walls are a bit thicker than your average apartment. I love my balcony!! We have had issues here with management being changed quite frequently though. If you are looking for a place with a nice dog run/dog park, this isn't the place to be. They do have a dog park but if you ask me IT IS A JOKE!!! It's very small and has a broken fence and gate so you have to rig it all just to be sure your dog doesn't escape while inside. They offer a place for internet that has computers so slow...I tried logging into facebook one day and I kid you not it took about five min for the page to even allow me to scroll after loading. All in all it's pretty average. Nothing over the top but a good place to live if you are seeking something nice, clean, and decently spacious.
I really am in need of free rent for a year.but in another location to better myself.I raised 11_children and two are disabled.859 is the rent.air doesn't work for diabetic son.I have lupus.trying to relocate to Scottsdale Arizona and can not afford the move.need a three bedroom ground level.prefer indoor pool weight room"
This apartment complex is typically nice and quiet. It is less than five minutes from food, a grocery store, and a hospital. Also, not too much farther from Saginaw shopping districts. It has a large, indoor heated pool and jacuzzi as well as a sauna. Our california king size bed fits in the master bedroom easily and we use the second (which is not too much smaller) as a guest bedroom. There is a very large living room as well as a decent size dining room and average kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of cabinet and pantry space. The bathroom is spacious as well. Rent covers all utilities except electricity. Pets are welcome. There is a 24-hour gym which could use a little work but is better than paying a gym membership and driving to a gym. They've just begun offering free elementary school tutoring for residents with children. The management are very good about addressing tenants' concerns and are always doing things to improve the place. The rent is a little steep at 600 for a two-bedroom with a balcony, but they do offer very generous move-in, lease renewal, and referral programs which can help offset the cost.
I had some issues with the apartment, and they helped us out by letting us stay at a hotel for a while. They also offered to let us change apartments and have extra pets! I don't know where I would live without them. They have friendly and fast responding staff. I will most likely be staying here for a long time.
This complex has an indoor pool that sits aside an immaculate jacuzzi that is open to residents and their guest. The inside of my apartment has a mirror in front of the sink in the kitchen which allows me to watch tv from the living room while cleaning the kitchen one of my favorite amenities. It also has a great courtyard view whether you're on the top of bottom floor. The office also allows you to paint ascent walls of you like which most apartments doesn't not to mention the rooms are very spacious. Overall Camelot Place Apartments should be your choice of residency. Walking distance to many stores also for gas savers like me lol.
We have currently been leasing for a year and are entering our second year with Camelot Place Apartments. They have been wonderful since we moved in! The staff are friendly and helpful, and maintenance is always quick and efficient. The pool is wonderfully kept up and makes for a great community feeling. We have never had any problems with leaks, bugs, mold, any of the normal concerns an apartment renter may have. These apartments are a great choice if you are looking to gain a great experience through your apartment rental!
I never thought I would live in such a crime-stricken town. Actually being here, I've realized it isn't so bad. My apartment is close to everything. The grocery store, the bank, gas station, liquor store, and many fast food restaurants. That makes it very convenient to just take a drive down the road and take care of business. My apartment complex is HUGE. It has tons of different buildings. That sometimes makes it a bit too busy and loud for me. It has a nice pool and a hot tub, too bad the wrong kind of crowd hangs out in it. My apartment complex also has a business center (a room with two dinosaur computers. haha) and a "fitness center" which has broken equipment but on the plus side, it has free cable! So, if working out isn't your thing you can at least get some 'Teen Mom' in while you pretend to pedal the stationary bike or walk on the treadmill. I love my apartment. I love the amount of space and the setup. Unfortunately, I do not love my upstairs neighbors, the unruly kids, the loud nights and weekends, the constant rule-breakers, the ungodly price of rent, or the management. Overall, I can get over what bugs me and try as best as I can to live my life peacefully. But it is SO hard to come up with the rent every month. Especially when they raise it every time your lease is up. It would be amazing to have any kind of help with that. That is why I am entering this contest and hoping for a miracle!
Living at Camelot is wonderful, relaxing, quiet, friendly, and beautiful. Everybody is so happy and friendly. The employees are very nice and welcoming. Apartment was move in ready and nothing was wrong with anything. Such a beautiful place and well worth it.
The people there really care and when something does break they fix it quickly. They keep the public facilities clean and maintained. The rent and utilities are very affordable.
