Property Ratings at Camino Seco Village
Biggest complaint there is that it’s not safe to live there. I have gotten in my car broken into FIVE different times while living there for the past year. There are no cameras. Sometimes the parking lights are completely off leaving it dark. Even when the lights are on my car and other cars get broken into. I let the office know, they told me they couldn’t do anything of course, just told me to report it to the police and of course the police won’t do anything about it not to mention my neighbor‘s tires were slashed one night.Place was ok the first couple months until it starts raining, water starts coming into the apartments. Problems for both bottom and upstairs residents as well with flooding. I constantly reported a wasp nest right next to our apartment and expressed my concerns that I found four different kinds of wasps in my apartment at different times. Mind you I have babies living with me. They brought out an exterminator and only got rid of one nest when I had explained that there are multiple nest in the tree and said they cannot do anything further so the wasp nest is still there and the bushes that are near the apartments attract bees so there’s a large population of wasp and bees. Office worker didn’t care for all of these issues. This all happened in just one year by the way.

I’ve lived at the townhome apartments for about half year now. They are just okay. The amenities are nice. The office people are cool. My issue is unless you have a upgraded apartment, you get something different than the pictures on apartments.com and the website. My ac is faulty, it’s too hot in Arizona to be dealing with acs that constantly break down. The utility bills are high. My neighbor also has ac unit problems. They do the bare minimum to upgrade these units. I’ve put in several maintenance requests. The maintenance crew is nice guys. They do attempt to fix what they can. It’s just the quality of faulty appliances in these units. My cat is not doing well with it being so hot all the time in my apartment.

We hope you continue to enjoy your home here for years to come and you're always welcome to come to visit us in the office if there's anything you need.
This place is horrible. Management is a joke, this lady needs to find a new profession. Just because you’re rude that doesn’t make you a manager. They came to paint my door and advised me that while the door was opened my apartment would be supervised by management. I came home to the paint on my door dry, my apartment wide open, and no one supervising. If I had not came straight home it would have been opened all night. The office manager told me if anything was lost it was not their responsibility but she is sorry it was left open. How irresponsible ? I could have gotten robbed blind for everything I had and that would be their response ? This place NEEDS new management !!!! They have lost my trust and I never want them coming to my apartment again.
'garden level' should be renamed as "basement level" for they are below ground level. People who have claustrophobia would pass out, or panic in theee "garden level" apartments, no matter how roomy the appear to be. There's no natural light.
The floor plans are spacious. When you are lucky to have the newer appliances, the washer and dryer come in pretty convenient. The maintenance is helpful Monday through Friday but Maintemce Supervisor has gigs on the weekends so don't count on him on work orders that come up on the weekends. The new managers lie to you when they promise you things and will assure you of the promise and then tell you too bad, you failed to get it in writing. Very untrustworthy!!!!!! Please beware. Also, utility bills are extremely high due to faulty ACs, water heaters and Dryers that don't work right.
My husband and I are extremely pleased with hsl camino seco village! From the moment we showed interest in them they were very helpful and worked with us to get us the exact apartment we wanted! I strongly recommend this apartment complex to everyone looking for a clean safe and family-friendly home!
We lived there one year, the staff was nice, the apartments are old but that is what makes them unique. Our bath tub had a large sitting area which was great when I had to shave my legs. Our neighbor upstairs had a spiral stair case .
Amazing staff. Very understanding and professional. Beautiful landscape and pool. Apartments have all the perks. All around great community. Couldnt ask for a better place to call home. Love it.
