Campeche Cove

Location is the only thing it has going for it. West end so it's way quieter than anywhere else. - Parking is awkward, and the layout is designed for failure in some spots. - Buildings were built in 1985 and it definitely shows it's age. "renovated" is a term used very loosely. Units are barely, if at all, insulated. - Air conditioning is a dream at best. Your a/c will never cool to where you want it to be. (unless you like 80*) - Flooring is as cheap as it gets. Linoleum flooring and cheap tile. Easy to clean, but the tile does crack if you look at it funny. - If you still have looked away, then prepare for the German Roaches. They will pop up and be a nightmare to deal with. Prepare yourself for it. - Maintenance team and Office staff are slow to respond to any reported issues. Understandably so though. They are in charge of extinguishing a dumpster fire with a can of gasoline.

We lived at Campeche Cove Apartments for 13 months, we had to move due to family issues and can’t wait to move back. Great office staff! Efficient Maintenance! Love this place.

I love this apartment complex!! We moved in in June and absolutely love our apartment! I was worried about roaches or bugs moving into an apartment but have never seen one, not even a spider! The balcony is a great size and has beautiful views. It is relaxing watching the fish, turtles and crabs go swimming by. The inside feels very open and love the large bathroom. The complex always looks clean and well kept. The management is awesome and so sweet. Very friendly place and quiet. There is just so much more that I could say about this place and definitely don’t think we could of found a better apartment in Galveston.

Office personnel, management as well as maintainance are amazing! Maintainence man named Thomas is wonderful! Very kind, efficient, does great work in a timely manner and cleans up when he is done! As a 5 year resident, I am so pleased with our choice in Cameche Cove Apartments!! Thank you for caring about your tenants!!!!

Campeche Cove Apartments are the best deal going in town. I'm fortunate enough to have a lake view and LOVE it! The office management team is spot on professional, readily available and looks out for the best of the residents. The maintenance team is timely, courteous and reliable. I love the location at the west end - always quiet and so close to the beach. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to move into a well taken care of property for a reasonable price. Parking is a little tricky sometimes but that's nothing!

Great location! When I needed something fixed they did so in a timely manner. The pool area is well kept and faces the lake.If you are looking for a place come check us out!

I moved here from Houston and have lived here for 3 years. I have made several moves from two different units (upgrading) and I am about to make another. The staff has been wonderful in finding me the right apartment, in the right building, on the right floor. They have extended to me every kindness through this process. Always the professionals. I have had very few maintenance problems but when they did occur, they were completed quickly. They seem to really care about meeting your needs. The area is quiet and the people who live around you are always friendly. If a great apartment complex is what you are looking for, this is the place. They got this!!!

Property is well maintained, maintenance is quick to respond to service request. Office staff is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place!!!

NEW OFFICE STAFF IS VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY!!! I LOVE MY APARMENT!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place on the island. Beautiful area!!! Clean and well kept property.

I lived there for awhile and while the staff was mostly nice most of the time, there were some rude incidents. As far as the actual apartment: The bedroom is HORRIBLE - ALL of them - there is a large giant window in the bedrooms and that window faces the walkway and outdoor steps - it is LOUD all the time. If someone just walks on the steps, you can hear the rattling in your bedroom - if someone is just closing their door, you can hear it - if someone is outside talking, you can hear every word. That alone caused me to move. The outside and parking: Trash... tires were slashed a few times, smelled of trash, peeling paint everywhere, most lights didn't work, bugs and bugs and bugs. If you like the show Live PD or Cops, this is the place for you - almost nightly, there was police activity in the units.. a lot of yelling, swearing, running and fighting. Once, I was woken up about 1am to a policeman kicking another door in and the person taking off running. Not a safe place at all.

This place is very deceiving, don't be fooled. Along with an ant problem there is a cockroach problem. I have been here 2 months and I hate it. The management will show you a model that is very nice then when you get your actual unit it is garbage. They replaced the appliances with new appliances that were damaged and actually installed them with the damage and after notifying management, they said they would replace them. As I mentioned I have been here 2 months now and apparently they swept it under the carpet, unbelievable! I am unfortunately in a 12 month lease but as soon as I fulfill it, I am getting out of this trashy place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Morgan, Kasey, and Lisa made this the best option for me. They were very helpful through the entire application process and the complex looks amazing! I wouldn’t want to call anywhere else home.

Early 2016 Campeche Cove in Galveston Texas was a decent apartment complex, but there were many problems that occurred and the company that owned it did not take care of it. In mid-2016, the Company Tarantino took over Campeche Cove and started fixing all the damages and reputation it had. Ever since Tarantino has taken over whenever I have a problem it gets fixed the same day. This Company has really taken this place from a 1 out of 5 to a 4.5 out of 5, and they keep rising as they are making a bigger a better workout room in the complex. Out of all the complexes I’ve stayed at, I really thank Campeche Cove for the hard work and dedication, thanks.

We have lived at Campeche Cove for about 3 years and it has been such an amazing experience. Our apartment living experience has been so good, at Campeche Cove Apartments, because of the quality of the apartments and the very professional and courteous staff. The property manager, Lisa, is so inviting and friendly. I renewed my lease today and she made me feel so appreciated and welcome. The leasing agents, Casey and Morgan, are truly prime examples of customer service and how it should be executed. The both know us by name and are always proactive to help us resolve any issue we may have along the way. All this being said, I would recommend this property to anyone looking to move to Galveston or just looking for a new place to call home!

Our unit is 2 bedroom, 1 bath. We saw all of their units, and the 1 bedroom would have been plenty of space, the living room and dining area are basically the same. However, they were out of 1 Beds to rent. We love our 2 bedroom though, plenty of space. One of my favorite things about both the 1 bedroom we looked at, and the 2 bedroom we have right now, is the MASSIVE bathroom. It's like one full wall is just a gigantic mirror with 2 sinks and lots of lighting! (perfect for makeup) That's the comment we get the most from friends, "OMG, your bathroom is HUGE!" Yes, yes it is. These units do not come with washer and dryers, but they do have the hookups, some units stackable, some are not. (Ours are facing each other in the laundry closet in one part of the kitchen, I like that better) We brought our own, but the apartment management team has awesome recommendations for renting if you want to go that route :) Also, no pet rent! Just a one time pet fee and deposit, that seemed fair to me. I don't understand why some places charge the fee & pet rent. So, Campeche is awesome for that. The best part about the apartment though, is the management. Everyone at the front desk and maintenance are awesome. Everybody is friendly and will help with anything you need. We have had a few maintenance issues with our place, like needing a new thermostat or the garbage disposal needed fixing, and everything is always taken care of in a timely fashion. 5 months in and so far so good!

I have been broken into and robbed twice since living here for 8 months. The safety lights outside of my building do not work and management has no intentions of fixing them. The place also has an ant infestation... I have been told there are plans to spray for the ants but at least a month has passed since hearing that. I only moved here because it was cheap and I am a graduate student and they would do short term leases. I would not reccomend this complex to anyone.

Really beautiful property, nice neighborhoods, very friendly neighbors, clean pool, and an nice office staff, the only problem is the gym, its really little and all the equipment is old, other than that its a perfect ?? place to live if you want to be away from everything, my apartment is beautiful.
