With the rugged Wasatch Mountains dominating the landscape, Carterville locals never tire of the scenery. Relatively flat terrain magnifies this spectacular view and tree-lined streets add freshness to the district. Most of the area's apartments sit in the shared residential and commercial properties in the southern half of the neighborhood. Carterville Park provides residents with ball courts, playing fields, and five acres of idyllic green space.
Although downtown Provo and its urban delights sit just two miles southeast of Carterville, this amenity-rich neighborhood has much to offer its residents. Brassa's Mexican Grill serves authentic south-of-the-border eats, and Molly's comes through with comfort food done right. University Place acts as a one-stop hub for shopping, dining, and movie-going.

Property Ratings at Campus Edge
The water heater is constantly broken and they haven't responded quickly to fix it at all. It is winter and we've been without hot water for days and they barely said it'll take them a few more days before a neede part comes in. Atleast they finally are telling us something...
Property Manager at Campus Edge, Responded To This Review
Friend, We’d like to apologize for the negative experience you had with us. We’ve taken your feedback and will work hard to implement needed changes at Campus Edge. I’d love to make things right! Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. Campus Edge, Manager, campusedge@redstoneresidential.com
Management is selfish, greedy, abusive, and dishonest. They rely entirely on BYU students being too passive and mild to complain about how bad they are. Avoid at all costs.
Management sucks, the maintenance workers will trash your apartment and leave it, the rates are horrifically unreasonable ($305 per month, plus $50 utilities for a year contract). You can get a much, much nicer apartment for a year with what they're asking. The building manager has screwed me over so many times, and then refused to accept responsibility for her own mistakes. They take every opportunity to take as much of your money as possible. The apartments aren't all that nice (the bathroom is tiny), and kitchen space is low for 4 people. This place should be an absolute last resort, especially for the absurdly high rates they expect.
Management wouldn't respond to repeated requests to spray for bed bugs until I called BYU, who then threatened them. Maintenance was slow and usually sloppy. Management found little excuses to slice my $200 deposit down to $91 when they returned it after I moved out, and then the check for $91 they wrote was invalid and wouldn't cash! I took them to BYU mediation over it, but they wouldn't give me my money back unless I signed a non-disclosure agreement, so I refused. The complex has what is widely regarded as the worst parking lot in Provo. Some people live there and say it's fine, minus the parking, but whoever has had any issue with management knows that Continental Properties is a greedy, uncaring entity best avoided altogether. Oh, and they say they have a swimming pool, but I lived there for two full summers and it was closed over 90% of the time. It would close for weeks, be open for two days, and then close again for weeks. (I'm not exaggerating.) On top of that, they rent to married couples in the summer who complain about noise, so the pool closes at 10pm. (They'll make other noise complaints, too.) Yes, the ward was pretty good, the location is great -- I've had multiple ankle surgeries so I had to live close to campus, otherwise I would've moved out after the bed bug incident -- and the price isn't terrible, but the management is astoundingly immature, unprofessional, and rude, from the front desk all the way to the owners. I wish I could give a zero-star rating because Canyon Terrace was dreadful.
