Poor management and does not listen to residents. Claims pool on website but pool was open for 2 days and closes for “maintenance”. Barges into apartments without warning. Just there to make an extra buck on random fees
CEV has provided a great place for me to live. The maintenance and office staff are incredible. However, there is a need for better/more management.
It's an alright place to live. One of the better places in town for the price it is. Only rated 3 and not higher due to the difficulty of actually getting work orders dealt with in a timely manner.
With new management it is somewhat improved but there is still a lack of amenities that are supposed to be offered. South does not have a tanning bed, the pool was somewhat clear for move-in and is now a frog pond, trash is over flowing, maintenance orders have yet to be filled for 2 months, and the grass has not been cut in over 2 months. There are lots of little things that will as much money as they make off owning such a large rental facility it is more then feasible to have it paid for. I watch the owner of the neighboring building push mow their facilities every week I guarantee some college student is looking for a job and would be more then willing. The staff itself is a plus most of the desk people are extremely helpful and kind management on the other had can be rude and act like they can’t help you at all.
It’s a very nice apartment. I’m on the fourth floor so it was kinda hard to move in. Also it’s hard to find a parking spot. My roommates are very nice! Also, the staff helped me with finding the bus schedule if I wanted to take busses to classes which is very convenient.
Good communication and they make everything simple. The move in procedure is simple and the whole place is furnished so makes it easy to move in.
My experience with CEV Murray, has been long and frustrating to begin with to be honest. With all the going back in forth and not returning calls, but I’m also really excited to start here and start my independence journey.
I haven’t lived at CEV yet, but the lease and move in process has been great so far! I would definitely recommend CEV to a friend or family member!

It is a good place to live and i find this is one of the best place in murray and It offers a chance to live in a comfortable, home-like environment while enjoying the amenities and social atmosphere of a communal setting. I've had the pleasure of living at CEV South Murray for the past summer, and I can confidently say it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transportation, shopping centers, great restaurants, and Murray State University. Very good, they are smooth while getting the lease and there is no minimum deposits! I think the only thing i want them to change is the move in date and that should be 1st of the month!

Haven’t moved in yet but have been happy with the process thus far. Everything was fairly easy to work with and figure out. I didn’t even have to do much just get the application filled out.

Sometimes getting packages can be hard or the office can lose your package and the hall ways in the apartment buildings can be very dirty and trashy. Other than that it’s a great place to live!

Early on it was awful, no maintenance or communication, but the company changed hands and since then I've had very few complaints. Our upstairs neighbors were hard to deal with, but that isn't so much the apartments fault.

Very nice apartment and amenities. I wish the pool had been opened earlier because we pay for it within our rent and it was not open until the end of June.

I only ever had a few issues living here when it came to maintenance. It always seemed to take a while to get into contact with them. Other than that, this was a good place to live that fit my needs.

It's a nice little place, nice distance from different places in town. Can easily walk to work from my apartment. It's really convenient that the transit authority is also right by South.

There is no community. We just now got our club house open and just now got our pool open mid June. People would leave trash outside their door for weeks and it was disgusting. And people done leash their dogs or pick up after them. The outside is littered in trash and at one point multiple cars got broken into in one night and they haven’t done anything about other than send out an email saying to lock your car (the windows were smashed so locking a door won’t stop anything) I’ve gone a month waiting on my dryer to be fixed and the office will send me emails saying my rent is late when it’s not even after the first. This apartment complex needs so much work and they really seem just money hungry and don’t actually want to fix anything.

Mice, Mold, and fixing the broken stove. What is there not to love! 2 broken fans the list goes on. Rent was also raised roughly 500$ over one lease agreement

The pool hasn’t been opened in a year and half of the gym equipment doesn’t work so there’s that but they have new management so hopefully that helps

So far it’s been pretty good, the new owners are doing a tremendous job of fixing up the place. Every time we have a maintenance request someone actually comes and fixes the problem! When I call with a question someone answers and I love that we receive emails about inspections before they happen!

The apartment itself isn’t terrible but there have been many time where maintenance doesn’t come out for weeks on end. The staff is usually friendly but the managers don’t try to understand situations before throwing another bill your way. The deals they offer new renters is kinda of crazy while current, loyal renters continue to have rent raised.
Not too, bad a nice little beginner apartment for anyone still in school or beginning adulthood and life, not very expensive, and it is a nice place to live.

i hate it here so much man. the units are not worth the price jumps that cev CONSISTENTLY does yearly, without making any real changes to the units, only cosmetic for entire buildings
