Don’t do it
When we moved my daughter in the cabinets were still full of someone else’s food and cleaning supplies. The kitchen light and air conditioning didn’t work, it smelled, there was still laundry in the dryer and her room looked like someone shook a soda and sprayed it all over the walls. The blinds in the living room were broke, the chairs had holes in the arms, and it was overall VERY dirty. Although we had been told that it had been cleaned and ready to go. After HOURS of cleaning we finally got the place to look presentable and feel like I was not dropping my child off at a prison. The air conditioning wasn’t fixed until it was too cold to actual use it. The kitchen light took weeks to get repaired. These college aged kids had to beg the office to do something. One roommate moved out after just a few days because of the condition and lack of movement on repairs. The hallways were absolutely disgusting. I am not sure they had been cleaned in a few years and also had furniture storage. The secure door didn’t lock, the gym that the advertised hardly had a working equipment. And the worst part of all is she left this place 100 times better than she had when she moved in and they still kept her deposit. When she called they stated they had no record of her paying one. Parents, I wouldn’t let my kid move there if I had to choose again. It’s gross and a little shady!

PICK SOMWHERE ELSE
Never anybody to talk to, good luck with getting snow removed in the winter. Hallways smell like weed. Maintenance orders in for over 3 weeks, lived here for 2 years because it was the only place available for the amount of money I had. Two different groups of management and they were both aweful. Find a buddy and get a different apartment- not on campus.

Worst place to live
The staff are not very efficient and always leaving you helpless. Didn’t inform me about lease and other agreements that screwed me out of $2000 They are cheap people that just get you there to screw you out of money. If you ever have a problem with something have fun waiting for 2 months. Don’t ever move in here unless you wanna hate sleeping and living

Awful place to live!
Would not recommend living here. They squeeze you into a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 roommates and the fines are outrageous here. I lost my entire deposit and they charged me for a full paint job, funny thing tho. I had friends move into the exact same apartment that I had moved out of and lo and behold the exact same smudges were on the wall that were there when I moved out. There are other places to live in Ankeny that are much more affordable than this.

Terrible
One star is even too much for this place. Terrible management and maintenance. They have an online payment set up which charges you extra to use. On the coldest day of the year they shut the water off. They over charge and add extra fees, they DO NOT plow or take care of their parking lot in the winter. The carpet in the apartments is disgusting, it took me a week to get my toilet fixed. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible living experience.

GREAT PLACE TO LIVE
Campus View Student Housing provides me with a wonderful environment as a college student. Living on the DMACC (Ankeny) campus allows me to walk to my classes fast and easily. The options for living space make it affordable and comfortable. I've enjoyed the variety of activities at Campus View, particularly the frequent and fun residential events (Canvas Painting, Movie Night, Grill Out etc.). The staff of Campus View works on an up close and personal level with me as well! I love living here :)
