The Delta Township is a tight-knit community only 10 minutes west of the heart of Lansing. The town is split by Interstate 69 and the western section is made up of lush natural areas while the eastern section consists of residential areas and commercial developments. Renters will find affordable apartments, townhomes, and houses available for rent.
Events bring the community together and take place throughout the year. Families and individuals enjoy peaceful parks along the Grand River, located along the northern border of town, and residents head to West Saginaw Highway (Highway 43) for a plethora of shopping and dining choices at places like Lansing Mall and the Marketplace at Delta Township. While this amenity-laden town has a lot to offer within, residents can easily travel outside of town to visit other parks and trails along with popular places like Capital Region International Airport and Downtown Lansing.

Property Ratings at Canal Club Apartments
We have lived at Canal Club apartments for about 7 years now. We love it. Initially we were in a third floor apartment. The cathedral ceilings were very nice! We love having the washer and dryer in the unit, and any time there is a maintenance issue it's taken care of immediately. If we have trouble during off hours, they still answer calls and have even come to our apartment on weekends and evenings to assist with the satellite. We don't have problems very often, but when we do we are met with professionalism and friendliness. We highly recommend Canal Club!
Property Manager at Canal Club Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the glowing review and kind words about our team! We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share how attentive everyone has been, and we hope you'll continue to enjoy your home at Canal Club. As always, please do not hesitate to let us know if we can ever be of assistance!
The past week I've been starring at an algae filled pond. They hardly ever clean it. I thought the pond would be nice to look at since it's out the back door, but boy was I wrong. The community is pretty nice and the location is great, but everything else about the complex is terrible. Don't get suckered into signing a lease here. They do everything to get you in but careless once you're here. They have like 5 people on maintenance staff, but only one of them is assigned to fixing problems for existing residents, which means you're stuff probably won't get fixed -- like ever.
I am a current resident living in a one bedroom apartment at Canal Club. The apartments are very nice, the community is well maintained and most the utilities included in the rent is a nice feature. However, they only offer one cable/internet provider; and the overall service is not that great for the amount you pay each month. I do recommend these apartments, however, I believe the staff needs to adjust the way they do business if they want to promote more residents. I have been in numerous situations where the staff have been rude or completely unreliable to your needs as a new or current resident. The female Manager of the Community office was very nice upon signing my lease but ever since she has treated me rudely. Her attitude and demeanor displayed is not welcoming or sincere, the way you would hope it would be if you are interested in renting at Canal Club. Because of this and other reasons, I will not be re-signing my lease and will be looking for a new apartment community.
The living space is great, and the utilities being covered are fantastic; very cost-effective. In my dealings with them, I initially called inquiring about a 2B2B apartment and was answered by a very grumpy and unfriendly employee saying there weren't any. I liked the complex enough to put in an application anyways. Then a week later, received a phone call about a 2B2B being available. After conversing with this employee, she said she would put my name down on the apartment when the tennents moved out. Three days later I received another call, from another employee, about how that apartment wasn't up for renting as it had already been claimed by another party prior to the last conversation. I asked why the 2nd employee would tell us that our name was on it, and was replied to with "she normally doesn't handle sales and our boards showing renting options haven't been updated in a while." Needless to say the customer interaction is quite lacking at Canal Club. I would be hesitant dealing with that management office again, and as a tenant I would be worried about how they handle maintenance requests etc. Their wait lists are pretty extensive so I'm sure they can annoy and misinform whoever they please because the demand is high.
I recently moved to Canal Club Apartments. I was happy to find an apartment with a washer/dryer in the unit within my budget. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Having private entrances is nice. My only criticism is that maintenance issues can take a while to get taken care of. Overall, I'm liking my new apartment.
Great apartment complex. Barely ever hear neighbors, great view of the pond behind the building, and the staff is very friendly. Only down side is the place is a bit pricy, but I was able to paint my place & keep to myself. Whenever I need to call the leasing office they're very kind, and repairs are made quickly. Wish the Internet options were varied, but it's quick enough for my school work & Netflix. I would definitely recommend Canal Club 2.
