This is worst place you could ever live. Maintenance is a joke. No repairs are made they don't require for them to be licensed so no standards will be held. Most things are fixed with a rumber band and glue it's that bad. Pests control that you pay for is a joke they coke weekly supposedly and "spray," Hope you like roaches as a part of your lease. And don't forget to add bed bugs. Also I had tons of mold and leaks. They do not upkeep properly only the property in front of office is upkeep. Don't move hear all my neighbors have told me they are moving. I plan on breaking my lease. What i pay isn't added up to what I experience daily which is habitually issues daily. Go ahead and break your lease for the office negligence to make repairs! I'm breaking my lease ASAP.
I recently moved into a townhome, and I have zero complaints. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I feel like I made the right choice by moving in here. Thank you to everyone who helped me.

I moved in here in may last year. After the first year I am now renewing. I have been very happy here and I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon. Maintenance has been spot on! They never make me wait for repairs and they are always professional and courteous. The maintenance is all nice especially Leo. The grounds are clean and the pools and dog parks are always clean .

No compres nada aquí. No alquiles nada. La gente en el cargo se sienta y es muy falsa. Soportarás muchos problemas, no te ayudarán y lo ignorarán todo. This apartment complex refuses to acknowledge issues. Listen to former residents it was a waste of time, and a complete mess. Had issues the very first day of move in. I discovered things that they tried to dismiss. Don't let these people get over on you because of the price. Truth will always prevail. I've had better housing in West Dallas area! I had bugs for days all through my apartment, I had leaks mold and mildew that was never fixed. They told me to invest in a humidifier for the smell. I also had smell of smoke in the apartment which smelled of strong weed through the vents and outside areas. This apartment community is an eye sore to this neighborhood. Read the reviews the management does not care, they have new people every other week. I have seen many different managers and staff at this apartment complex. Drive around the street you will find better housing.

This Review will be lengthy so I will try to sum up issues. Firstly, the units are in horrendous shape and not upkept properly. They expect you to move in and find issues during their move in inspection job. Secondly, beware of water leaks and mold. Water leaks are very prevalent I'm these units. If you move it check everything and document issues. The office will not tell you of issues and will gladly take your money each month. That is the only thing that they are good at is collecting rent and adding unexplained fees on top of rent owed. I like everyone else have had issues with leaks, plumbing, wall repair in bathroom that was never fixed. The shower started to peel because of continously leaks and moisture. Don't expect the office to address the issues or fix them. The handyman are horrible they paint over bugs, leaks, mold, rust you name it. They don't hire professional handyman so don't expect things to get done properly. I have also noticed safety quality of neighborhood is declining. They may have a big unnecessary sign of the name in front of the building but that is the only thing going for them. Don't bother communicating to either office of the resident center or the main. They brush of issues and say go to that office and then the person says I am not the one who you contact. I would be mindful when choosing this apartment complex, this was one of the worst locations I have stayed. If I had the option of finding something in a heart beat next time I would. I regret living here. Best thing I did was move on for me and my families well being.

I am so glad to be done with Canopy on Central. It's been a very frustrating and long experience. I wanted to post a review to warn others to avoid! First date of move in found continuous leaks in bathroom area. It was patched and continuously leaks when it rains. Also, apartment was very smokey of weed and cigarettes. I spent tons of money on candles and plug ins. Over time it did get better but still had a very old smell of mold and mildew due to leaks. They later told residents they are on an "old boiler system," and that is the reason. However, prior to moving in this was never specified ever. Management is non caring and good luck trying to reach someone in that office. Management would continuously blame me for issues. I could write a horror book on everything encountered. Please, if you value your health find something else.

For what you’ll end up paying is not worth it yes the neighborhood is nice but the staff sucks. Water will be off for days I don’t get hot water in the kitchen it took 3 months for them to fix my ac if they move you to the back of the apartments good luck fighting for your life against wild animals

I moved in here from another state and the initial requirements were handled very swiftly by the associates. The move in process was very smooth. Seems to be quite safe neighborhood with lighted carport, pool, pet friendly and Gym. I had 2 small maintenance issues which were handled the day I mentioned. So, the experience is pretty good. Will update later on. But for now, enjoying the place.

The management does not give 1 care about it tenants. I have lived here for almost 3 years with a broken dryer vent that can't be used. The water is out once a week at the least. Their "remodel" took away features and only added to the cost. The property is always dirty and don't even try to get maintenance to fix anything. They wouldn't even replace the flap inside my toilet to stop a leak.

I lived there for a year so as my cousin, management is poor, try to call them they never pick up the phone, once we moved out without any notes we were sent to collections for the final bill that we never received a bill for. After calling Brad said it might got lost in the mail( again) then we had to settle with collection. Buildings are very ild and expensive for nothing needs maintenance every week and the prices so expensive.
They go up on your rent way to much charge you fees for everything like package box, outside maintenance, trash, etc etc . When you call office no one answers so you email and no response i recommend you look else wheres . Use to be good before new owners .

if you are a parent or someone with taste keep on looking, but if you're finally trying to get out of your parent's house and need a place to stay and maybe have roommates this is the place for you. just some warnings -roaches, buy some roach traps and the problem goes away in a week -granite countertops, they are unsealed if you leave anything wet on the counter it will soak in and leave a dark spot -fridge, your parents probably never taught you this but don't leave stuff pressed against the back wall of the top shelf that's where the colder freezer air comes out of. if you block it your milk will go bad -if you have three people pick that 2 bed 2 bath apartment, tenth floorplan down(the only one that is just a model without an accompanying black and white plan) the dining nook can be turned into a bedroom with some bookshelves and curtains. you will hate the lack of privacy but if one of you works night shift stick them in that room. the lack of privacy has made me suicidal at some points(im already mentally ill it won't drive you normal people mad or anything) but i assume it would cause fights for some of you so be warned about that -wall fixtures and drawers, they used bad nails on some cabinets and wall fixtures so don't worry if they break, just call them and they'll get back to you in a week and come fix it -lighting, there are no overhead lights or fans in any of the bedrooms. buy a lamp. -community wifi you say?? yeah no ive never seen it, but you can look for it -valet trash, it's real but it's finicky, better to take your trash out yourself -the stairs, the stairs are very steep on some of the buildings, you will need a lot of help moving in if you're on the second floor -pools, dude there are so many pools and maintenence never locks any of them after they "close" night time pool party!! -gyms, the gyms are now 24/7 and well kept, go at 2 am if you're like me and self concious -the horseshoe, please for the love of *INSERT YOUR DIETY HERE* if you even VISIT, do NOT go out the horseshoe on the southernmost end. you can enter, but the southernmost side is on a corner and it is literally impossible to see around. management themselves will tell you this. the southernmost side(in case you are bad with directions like me) is the side closest to the wallmart and the pawnshop, the northern side(safe side) shares the street with a kid's daycare and from there you can see the crazy cowboy. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE HORSESHOE

I have been here over 8 years now and haven’t had any issues really until the past year. My AC goes out more than anything and all they tell you is to open windows!!!!! It’s August & it is HOT outside! They don’t even offer to give you a portable AC unit! I have thought about calling compliance services on them! This is ridiculous! I have had AC problems in this apartment since January!!!!!!!!! I am not happy & DO NOT recommend these apartments at all!

Please do not live in these roach infested apartments. They just "remodeled " the units while tenants were living in them. Terrible!.. The "remodeling " that was done removed cabinet space and the renovations are already falling apart. The A/C is garbage!!. They do trash pickup but the dumpsters are always overflowing with trash everywhere. Dog poop everywhere!! They cut the grass daily. They're doing something different to the grass like everyday for real. It's very annoying. Water is turned off like all the time with very little to no notice. Sucks. So ready to move. Coming soon.

If I tried to explain everything wrong with the canopy on central we would be here for days. I just wanted to make this quick review because of websites like this that trap renters in a bad situation. All these reviews I can agree with when the complex was woods of Bedford but that company was bought out and now the complex is owned by money-hungry cooperate pirates that care not for the residents or the buildings but only for how much money they can sucker you to put in their pockets. I lived in an apartment for 13 months, it had very noticeable damage the day we viewed it and we were assured it would be fixed by move it. Now here we are 13 moths later and I'm being charged to fix those very same damages. In the middle of my lease I was living happily, for the most part, with my fiancee and 4mo but then the new owners/managers, I'm looking at you Bradley, decided to do some remodeling. Thats's good I thought, they'll renovate the empty buildings and certainly do ours after we move. WRONG, we were subject to combine the contents of several rooms so that the contractors could wreak havoc on the kitchen and bathrooms. Not a problem for us since we live small in a tiny apartment but then i got home to fumes and dust and what my job describes as a hostile environment for adults leading to my fiancee and child living elsewhere the remainder of our lease. I was offered no comp for not being able to use my apartment and when i suggested a modified rent for the months i couldn't use certain areas in my home, I was laughed at outright. Please hear my warning if you're looking for a new home, there's plenty of cheaper and much nicer places to lay your head at night. The only thing you'll get here is a headache and mold poisoning.

Great Apartment very clean very neat very convenient
After having a bad experience with my previous apartments, I did some searching In the nearby neighborhoods. The staff at my current community were very profesional and attentive. I made my decision the same day that the Woods of Bedford would be my home.
This has been a fine place to live. Maintenance is responsive and generally fixes things right the first time. There have been issues with water, but I believe they're mostly related to the city and not this complex.
My apartment is alright, its honestly hard living here because of all the money that it requires. Also considering i only make minimum wage, but overall its good
The management is nice and helpful. The maintenance people fix things pretty quickly. I live in the back of this complex where my neighbors are awful. They smoke in their apartment, and the smoke comes through the vents. Cigarette butts are all over the place outside. People cuss loudly at their kids, and they let the kids play in the parking lot. UPS left a package in front of my door, and it was stolen. The complex is fine. The neighbors suck.
This complex is all about location, good neighborhood, close to malls, hospital, restaurants but the buidings need TLC. Well prices and have amenities like pool and gym
