My experience was amazing. Cantera was one of my top 3 choices, I loved the location since it was close to work, and close to bunch of stores and restaurants . Extremely practical. The staff was kind, understanding, and very helpful with scheduling tours, signing the lease, and giving you a true home community like experience. I decided to not even go check out the other two options I has simply because Cantera had the best price for what you get. I love it here so far, and I cant wait to be here longer!

If you want a great experience living here, move near building 14 because it's more quiet, near everything like leasing office; pool; mail room; gym; and also there is no stray cats on that side of the apartment complex because no one feeds the cats on that side. It is also safe here while walking around at night time. maintenance staff are very responsive and main leasing staff are always helpful and friendly. Apartment is big for us and we have an attached garage which has been amazing and convenient.

The neighbors have been obnoxiously loud recently. Bangs and thumps have been shaking my whole apartment constantly. I would HIGHLY advise against moving here.

The first 3-4 months of our stay were very disappointing in terms of the quality of the customer experience and poor condition of our apartment. Since then, with a change in the community & maintenance management, the overall living experience has significantly improved at Cantera.

It has been a good experience living at Cantera so far. It is fairly quiet despite being next to a freeway. You cant hear the cars or your neighbors. No issues with pests so far as well.

Cantera has become a refuge away from the chaotic after living in a densely populated area. I love returning to the quieter space as life slows down when I am here at home.

I've enjoyed my experience here at Cantera! The office staff and maintenance workers are always kind and helpful. No question is too ridiculous. Plenty of storage space and the floor plan is roomy and open. Landscaping, gating, and amenities make is an inviting and secure place. I feel comfortable walking around at any time of day or night and enjoy the trees and grass. (Best part is the quiet hours - even landscaping workers don't start until 8 am.)

I've lived at Cantera for six years now, and I don't see moving until I'm ready to purchase property. Every staff member I've worked with is always kind and professional. Communication is excellent. Work orders are always completed quickly and accurately. They've done a great job communication throughout the COVID-19 crisis, which is especially appreciated. Grounds are well kept. Rent is reasonable. Property looks much younger than it actually is, thanks to repainting and upgrades. Maintenance staff is top notch!
Cantera is a lovely and humble place to live. If you're looking to make a complex home in Chandler this is definitely the central hub to be. You have everything you need near you, management communication in my personal experience has been great and walking around the complex is always pleasant.

Its safe, clean and the staff is always professional and courteous. Ive never had to wait longer than a day to get a maintenance request completed!
Cantera is very good property to live, very clam peace full and located in perfect location for families and work. The main reason is location and amenities that made me to chose, specially the Garage is good thing to have.

Living at Cantera I feel safe! The only suggestion I have is do not live in the back apartments close to the freeway if you enjoy your sleep! Other then that everything is awesome!
Although Ive only lived here for 3 weeks, its comfortable and centrally located to every thing Ive needed. The grounds are clean, well maintained and beautiful. The gym equipment is well maintained and in working condition.

I've lived here for six years. Love my apartment, and the complex is well maintained. Staff is friendly and professional. Fantastic complex.
So property issues; those grills in the pic...when you open the lid you're gonna be disgusted. Old and crusty are two great descriptors. Also, the grills are no longer attached to the grilling area and one of the grills doesn't even have a handle last I checked. There's also a cat infestation with random areas smelling of stale cat urine. This has been an ongoing issue caused by one of the residents who keeps feeding stray cats but this is all possible due to the lack of accountability by the main problem - Alliance Residential, the property management company. Shortly after I renewed my lease a new owner took over and they switched to a new billing system. Well our bills were 100% incorrect once the new system came into play. It got to the point where we had to go find the manager every month to give us the correct amount to pay. So when we moved out and got a final bill $100 higher than what the manager told us to expect we called. Got the new assistant manager, James. A real jewel that one. He had no clue why our final bill was so high and promised to get it looked into and call us back. He didn't. My wife called and left a voicemail. Nothing. So I had to call and today he tells me the final bill is correct but cannot provide any specifics as to why and that he doesn't handle this any more since I am not a resident. He then promised to send me an email with those details as to why the amount is correct and he asked for email, which he clearly already had. While I was giving him my email he kept talking over me and kept saying he couldn't hear me give him my address. When I pointed out he kept interrupting me he laughed at me. When I asked if he seriously just laughed at me, the customer who was not being rude to him but was upset that this ongoing issue is still ongoing, he laughed again at me and encouraged me to file a corporate complaint. Again, place is mostly nice. The main problem is Alliance Residential. They like to keep shifting their employees from property to property to avoid being held accountable to things and to avoid having to fulfill promises or correct mistakes caused by its own employees. There are better, cheaper, and highly comparable places to live managed by other respectable and reputable management companies literally across the and down the street.
If you want to deal with a passive aggressive manager who feels she is justified in her harassment of residents. Or the horrific mosquito issues on the property then this is the place for you.
New management took overin march2014..went downhill grounds are dirty..a gold watch and suitcase went missing out of my apartment..Do not rent here
The apartments are quiet clean and the maintenance is responsive. The price is great given the location. No issues as far as bugs or neighbors. I would recommend these apartments.
