The apartment complex as a whole is dirty. I pay a monthly pest control fee but there are a lot of bugs in my apartment, including centipedes, crickets and spiders. There is no Amazon locker here, and management won't do anything about packages being stolen. Neighbors also don't clean up after their pets.
The management of Canterra at Fitzsimons especially Grace and Manny are wonderful people they are very nice and approachable and always trying to make residents feel welcome and comfortable. They are simply the best!!!
I would not recommend this place. The other residents do not clean up after their dogs and packages get stolen often.
The management at Canterra is amazing they do their best to make you feel welcome with fast response times.
The office staff is doing so good and I appreciate everything they do for our little community here. Not only are they extremely professional when answering our questions but they are extremely understanding and caring, they are some of the best office staff I’ve ever had the pleasure in meeting. They make living here so much easier and a lot better.

This place is very good place to rent with. The maintenance always makes sure everything is being taking care as soon you adresse the issue with them especially George is the greatest maintenance.
When I did the walk thru I like the fact everything in the apt was brand new that was a big plus.
I like where I live. The area staff all the staff. My neighbors are nice and friendly. I'm still learning my way around. I love the pool area venting machines. Everything. It's a lot I can say. I think it's just wonderfully in a lot of ways. And I'm happy to be living here.
The management is really good at what they are doing, and very accommodating. The maintenance usually responds quickly. We can’t complain about the quality of life, the ability to sleep in peace and safe. Keep up the good work!!!
Canterra at Fitzsimmons is a wonderful place to live and call home.ive never felt so safe welcomed,unjudged,respected,or showed the polite, kindness anywhere else I've lived untill I moved her to canterra homes.I love it in every way. And I'm very happy to call this home.Now I have a place to truly call home.
The apartments at Canterra are nice and the management stays ontop of the overall appeal and upkeep of the community.
So far I’ve loved living here not only is maintenance super fast at helping us but the neighborhood is awesome as well!
The initial attraction to the Canterra at Fitzsimons started with a need for the combination of a nice place and good people. I really enjoyed working with Ruth and Manny in the leasing office, I’ve had some not so pleasant, experiences with property management in the past and they reestablished my faith in leasing again. The overall apartment is wonderful and I have all the amenities I need. One of the enjoyable parts about living here too, is the noise cancellation between apartments. It’s a risk moving in anywhere, and wondering how loud your neighbors are going to be, but living here has proved to be quiet and calm. I do appreciate the quiet hours, as well as, the nighttime courtesy, security patrols. I really do enjoy living here and so far I’m very impressed!
So fari have been very happy to live here. The apartment is easy to maneuver and the staff is wonderful. Friendly but professional and easy to work with!

Las personas de oficina son muy amables y serviciales brindan muy buena información cuando lo necesitas, pero en cuanto al mantenimiento puedes encontrar popó de perro en muchas áreas de la propiedad no puedes salir a jugar con tus hijos porque seguramente regresarás lleno de popó en tus zapatos. En cuanto al mantenimiento llevo 3 años de vivir aquí y prometieron pintar mi apartamento y no lo hicieron es problema de administración anterior, realmente sigo aquí por el precio que no es barato pero comparado con el vecindario esta por debajo.
Canterra at Fitzsimons provides residents a good location with updated kitchen appliances. The staff are very helpful and adhere to all concerns promptly. We had run into some initial issues and they were very quick to inform maintenance of our requests.
The apartments are beautiful, but there are multiple things that have broken down since it's so old. Also the parking lot is a mess. Since there's no seeable lines on the ground in the parking lot everyone just makes their own and that makes people park terribly and leaves no space. If I will be paying for parking then the parking lot should be redone so we can see the lines.
The community seems to be coming together more since the new Manager started. Good things are happening and the Maintenance Manager can't do everything all the time.
The team there seems to be small and unable to give more attention to resident needs.. They still strive to do everything right! and right away!
Nice neighborhood, close to schools, Grocerie stores, and fast food.
I lived in this complex in 2020-2021, so some things may have changed. Pros: - Maintenence responded to requests fairly quickly and was able to fix most of the issues in my unit. - Management is decent. - I got my full deposit back with no hassle or issues from Management. - The walls are pretty thick, however, the floors and ceiling are not. - They are mostly on top of any infestations. Cons: - There was a roach infestation in building F, 3 months before my lease was up. (I kept my place super clean so I only got a few stragglers looking for water) - Pest control comes by on a weekly basis - I was told that the unit was completely cleaned out after the previous tenants, however, the blinds were disgusting and I kept finding mystery stains everywhere from the previous tenant the entire time I lived there. - There are skunks that live on this property. - There was a peeping tom in the area. - They have a tow company come by almost daily to have cars that don't have a parking pass towed away so make sure you and your guests have parking passes in your cars. - Management can be a pain to get a hold of and their voice mailbox is usually full. They aren't really good about responding to emails and their office is usually locked 'cause of Covid. - Some of the tenants blast music from their cars (mostly during the day, though some would do it at night as well). - Potomac way has a surprising amount of loud traffic, plus the highway runs along the other side of the complex.
I made the right choice by moving here. The location is great, my neighbors are amazing and the new manager Monica is absolutely amazing!
The management staff are great -- agreeable and friendly. Unfortunately, getting things fixed in the apartments doesn't seem to be a big priority.
Its a safe neighborhood close to schools and shopping areas. The management is good and professional.
For 10yrs I been living here. I have seen companies come and go and each one of them have their own way of doing things. This time around it's also different but in way i do not very much appreciate. For example: lights go off the stairs case for months and nobody says anything to extend that it's difficult find the key hole to my door. There's litters everywhere. The dumpsters are all filled just a day after it's been emptied because outsiders have free access to dump their household trash here. This is just to mention a few. So if you want to call me go ahead and do that and we will talk. Bye .

We recently were in a homeless situation and when we came to CANTERRA they were there ready willing and able to get us an apartment and made sure paperwork was done correctly
I absolutely love this apartment the people here have been amazing my neighbors the staff. You can tell the staff here take pride in their work. They are super friendly and on top of it. Super happy with my decision to rent here.
The new maintenance team are doing a great job for Canterra apt. I requested some work at my apt and it was done the same day!

Ever since greystar came on things have improved at the residence
!!!!!!DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!! The new management company Alliance has been completely awful. The property has gone down tremendously since they have taken over. Our utilities have raised for no reason. The balconies cannot even have a bicycle without a fine. The maintenance men have no clue what they are doing. The dog waste bins are overflowing. The trashcans are always overflowing. There is trash across the property. The pool is disgusting. All of our mailboxes were broken into. There is no security here! The water system is messed up. Last night I couldn't shower because the water was ice cold. (This happens often.) Also when taking a shower the water temp changes drastically with no warning. It will change to freezing cold or burn your skin off hot (not exaggerating). Also last night our heat wouldnt turn on so we were freezing in our own home! When someone gets evicted management takes all of their belongings and tosses it across multiple parking spaces and leaves it for weeks. They often have temps in the office who have no clue what they are doing or anything about the property. This new company required new parking stickers however did not give proper notification to pick them up. Then started towing residents vehicles without prior warning. Even though our car was already registered with the leasing office, and had the older stickers. The tow comany used is out of city so it cost extra as well (ours cost $420 to get out of the lot). When speaking to the leasing office about this, they were extremely rude and disrespectful. After multiple calls to their so called customer service number there was no resolution. I cannot wait to move out. I feel trapped in these terrible apartments.
The change of management is very difficult. I have been told some things by some of the manager's and when new management/office personnel come in they tell me something different.
They got the job done quickly and let me know what the problems were. I was supplied with 2 free bulbs so I didn?t have to wait to buy them and have them come back to replace it. They went above and beyond!
It isn't in the greatest area so safety is always an issue. It is also pretty noisy most of the time. Parking is pretty rough unless you pay for a spot. For the price though it is a very nice place to live. The complex is kept very clean and is pretty. Service requests are filled very promptly. The front office people are exceptionally nice and helpful.
I would because it?s affordable and the apartments are nice. Plus everyone is fairly quiet and keeps to themselves.
I would recommend this apartment to my family & friends. They have such a great service, and not only that but the homes are beautiful and nice. I love the inside and I want it.
The maintenance team is always a joy to see. They respond to things we need quickly, as well as the front office.
