Great walkable location. Multiple changes of management has made things difficult at times. Amenities are down too often, but communication is usually pretty good. Nice, updated apartments. Have enjoyed our 3 years here.
We just signed our second lease w Canvas. The new maintenance crew is quick, office is very friendly and go above and beyond to help! Very dog friendly as well!! Love the views from our apt window and all our neighbors are so friendly !!!
My experience with meeting with the property manager was very smooth, and he told me everything that I needed to know. I am happy to be a part of canvas on Blake and I love my new apartment.
The move in process was quick and easy. Have the documents sent in prior to your move in day and you will get your keys right away. They were also very communicative throughout to make sure everything was going smoothly. 10/10.

Just not great, packages always stolen. Water smells like sewer in dishwasher and laundry. Elevators are always broken, and AC never works in the gym.

It has been a good spot so far! The location is alright. Units are well maintained and the neighbors are all very friendly. Communication from the building has been ample.

We have had multiple maintenance requests in for over a month with no one coming to look at it. Amenities are nice but also maintenance problems with those for long periods of time making them unusable (ex. No AC in Gym/Grills not working for long periods of time, elevators out for months)

Mostly everything has been great but almost every new neighbor I talk to complains about the elevators being broken and it’s a little concerning

I have been here since December 22’ and the location is ideal! The common place areas are decent and most always accessible. The city view is nice!

Everything’s been great so far. We’ve seen issues with the garage door not getting closed / being turned off that we’ve had to call security about at night / just turned back on ourselves. And issues with the elevators have a been a little inconvenient. Otherwise great community and office assistance

The place has been wonderful so far. There has been a few minor maintenance issues right off the bat that should have been fixed before moving in but it’s alright. I love the building and amenities as well as location.

The location is great, it is close to quite a few places, we always enjoy the amenities and activities that the building offers to hang out and meet the neighbors, the gym is quite complete, I love training

You get charged a huge amount every month for community amenities. Also there seems to always be an elevator not working. Packages are stolen or “misplaced” often.
I just moved in yesterday, but the tour and move in process was seamless. I'm excited to continue living here and to use the pool and common areas.
Horrible and rude management staff and maintenance lacks knowledge and experience. Was a great place to live before management changed and ruined everything.
Cool place to live very convenient to most places and the neighbors are nice apartment has built in fiber so working from home is easy and hassle free
I’ve been here for a little over 2 weeks. The staff are nice and helpful when you seek them out. The amenities are great and the community seems awesome. Location is up and coming I would say I feel safe walking in certain areas. Parking option is great (I’m on first floor) and my bathtub is HUGE. Love it!
Definitely loving it at the moment! I have not had the chance to meet my neighbors because I’ve been preoccupied but everyone seems very warm and nice and welcoming throughout the building
Amazing! I’ve loved living here and recommend Canvas to anyone interested! The staff here is amazing and on top of everything. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
This complex changed management two times. The first group was excellent then something happened they fired all of their staff started new and then everything turned into like noone cared. I wanted to move out and noone got back to me for two months and I talked to them several times telling them I wanted to move out and they said they needed notification two months ago. I spoke to them on the phone and they would be increasing my rent and I told them I told them a month prior that I was asked. I told them I wanted to move out a month ahead of time on the phone and two days before I moved out they said that they didn't have a record. Later on they said they owed me a deposit and it was in the mail. I kept checking on it and after five months after I wanted to speak with a manager they said that I actually owed them because I moved out 14 days late. That was false. They said there was nothing they could do because I didn't give my notice in writing and that was in my lease even though I got no correspondence from them other than me leaving voicemails and emails that never got returned. I talked to someone several times on the phone because that was the only communication I could get and they didn't say anything about writing them an email. Now they are saying I'm not getting a deposit back. They don't clean the building the pool was always dirty. The management just doesn't do their job. From what I hear from the other residents when I was their they say the same thing and most people have moved out. It would be nice if the management was there doing their job but I've never had an apartment complex that was this bad. I didn't expect to be penalized from someone not doing their job. This situation is kind of funny being that I don't need the money I'm just in shock that people this inept get to tell me that I'm not getting my deposit back.
Just moved in, but so far I am loving my apartment and so happy to be here. I love the coffee shop right below and the yoga studio is lovely.
Building is great. The management changed and since then they don’t care about anything. They’re unresponsive and they don’t fix anything. They act like they want you to leave. So I left and they kept my deposit because even though I told them I was moving on the phone and sent them emails with no response they said I didn’t contact them at all. Absolutely unacceptable from a company by any standards. Someone needs to get fired. From what I knew everyone was moving out.
Great place to live, in a great location. Mail room is terrible can never find packages or theyre just missing/stolen. Pool and gym are great amenities.
It’s a beautiful building, easy to move in to and newly renovated! Very excited to make this place me home! The views of the city and mountains are amazing from the rooftop definitely a selling point!
The units and pool area are super nice! Loving the hot tub. The management team is also super responsive and friendly. The hallway on my floor is super hot which makes my unit really hot, which isn't great, but other than that, the units are a nice quality and spacious.
Building was awesome, but the amount of dogs will likely cause me to leave. I really enjoy my actual unit, but for the price and the hundreds of dogs - it’s just not worth the noise and smell anymore.
Apartment has been nice so far! Everyone is friendly and neighbors are great. A few issues with parking so far but nothing major. Management has been fantastic throughout the whole move-in process.
The amenities seem to work most of the time. The issue has been consistency over the last six months since new management has taken over.. the previous management company seem to have more maintenance on staff and available sales staff as well

So far it’s been great! Amenities are awesome for the price and everyone is so nice! I’ve had no issues with noise or anything like that, everytime I’ve had a maintenance issue they come almost within a day, I’d absolutely recommend living here
Please don’t live here! I have never encountered such poor communication, care for residents, and cleaning/maintenance as I have at Canvas on Blake. It’s really disappointing because this could be a very nice apartment complex if Lincoln Apartments could hire people suited for the jobs who had proper communication, organization, and empathy. Issues: - Garage break-in using a key fob labeled for the security company, they vandalized my boyfriends motorcycle trying to steal it and managed to steal several other residents property. Lincoln did not change the security company or increase patrols (I have never once seen the security company at or around the complex). Property manager never followed up. - Leak in our bathroom from the unit above caused mold, it took almost a whole month to fix, with false updates put in the system by the maintenance team who closed my request before they finished the repairs. I had to continuously call, email and beg the office to provide any updates on next steps just so we could use our bathroom. Sent several emails and left voicemails (because the office rarely answers) and never received a call back or email response from the property manager until I requested a rent concession (which was “not guaranteed”) but finally after almost 4 weeks we received a $250 concession. - Ants in our apartment for weeks from the shared courtyard. Had to again beg maintenance to have pest control come out twice because they closed our maintenance requests before it was resolved. - The one camera in the back alley (where the garage thieves entered) was vandalized a few weeks after the break-in and it took the office weeks to fix which is disappointing as resident safety should be a very high priority. - Elevators are always broken and smell like urine. - Parcel pending system has been down for months and packages continue to pile up in the lobby. - The hot tub heater was also broken for over a month, and the pool and pool chairs are always very dirty. The common area bathrooms are also very dirty and rarely stocked with toilet paper. Coffee maker never works. - The trash in common areas and the garages are regularly overflowing and everything smells like trash. There is so much more I could say but the worst part of living here is the lack of care and communication from the property manager and her team. In my experience they don’t call you back, they don’t respond to emails, and they simply don’t care. AVOID!

This used to be an okay place to live, that is until Lincoln Property Management/Alaina took over. Everything has been broken for months, and the people who work in the offices are the rudest, most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT move here.

The amenities and location of Canvas are ideal but after a bike being stolen, a broken garage with no security, multiple sewage floods and rude leasing office staff trying to charge hundreds of dollars of move out fees, I would not live here again. I could go on and on about the poor customer service and broken issues. There are much better options for Denver.

This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. Within a year, my boyfriend and I have had his car stolen, my car broken into, numerous packages stolen from the mailroom, and as of this morning, my bike stolen from our storage unit. Theft has occurred to a majority of the renters at this apartment. Last week I saw a smashed car window in the parking garage. Management could care less. Our parking garage door has been broken for over 2 months and there is little effort to protect our cars and storage units at night. There is supposedly security that I have yet to see walking the premise. Management has put little to no effort to address the issue and when I have brought up my concerns I have been met with disrespect and hostility. My boyfriend and I have lived in Dallas, St. Louis, and Memphis, all cities with a higher crime rate, and never dealt with theft like this. Crime rate is not the issue, it is careless management. Do not waste your money on Canvas on Blake or any Greystar apartment. Greystar is notorious for ripping off its renters. For the amount of money you pay in rent, I can assure you other apartments are just as nice and can keep your belongings safe. I cannot get out of this place fast enough.

My time living at Canvas on Blake has been great so far. The layout of my apartment and amenities are great and all of the staff, including Samantha and Bersada at the leasing office have been wonderful!

Management of this building switched in early 2021, and since then the quality of resident support has gone down. I especially would not recommend if you have a pet. There have been ongoing issues regarding Maintenance of areas available to pets but management continues to avoid resident concerns despite multiple complaints & follow ups from various residents. They are very disorganized
