From white-water rafting on the Cheat River to rock climbing at Coopers Rock to shopping for antiques, there's good reason Morgantown is the most popular destination in West Virginia -- add in West Virginia University and the reasons just become more impressive. Morgantown, situated along the Monongahela River, provides stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains -- especially from vantage points like Dorsey Knob. This park covers 71 acres, and the mountain is 1,398 feet high.
Considered a top-ranking research university, WVU was established in 1867 and features several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Residents of Morgantown can visit the university's Core Arboretum, which is free and open to the public. Residents can also cheer on the West Virginia Mountaineers at various sports events. The Mountaineers compete in NCAA Division I as part of the Big 12 Conference.

Canvas Townhomes in Morgantown is absolutely fantastic! From the spacious and modern layouts to the thoughtful amenities, everything about living here has exceeded my expectations. The townhomes are well-designed, providing plenty of space and privacy while still fostering a sense of community. Personally, I absolutely love it here. I've been here a few years and love that I can host a large group of friends without feeling squished. Plus, the maintenance team is always super diligent about fixing whatever has broken so far. I totally plan to resign.

The staff is very kind and the place is very nice. Maintenence is kind of slow with repairs and staff may put stuff off if you address problems on the phone but deal with it quickly in person. I enjoy the scenery and it's a very nice neighborhood.

This was my first time living alone. I was so nervous at first but I felt much more comfortable after touring here. The office staff is so nice and I always feel safe. I was also able to make friends with my roommates even though I did not know them before. I was nervous but the roommate matching worked out great!

Loved here during the transition of management. Overall pretty good. Maintenance has a fast turn around on request. The front office is pretty responsive and haven’t had any issues communicating with the office. The only thing I wish they would do is take down the shuttle service on the webpage because there seems to not be a shuttle service.

I currently live at Canvas. I have lived here since August and renewed my lease. The staff is very understanding and helpful when I have issues and/or questions/concerns. Maintenance is also quick to respond to work orders. Canvas has a very homey atmosphere and I would recommend to anyone.

Very spacious house for the money you pay for rent compared to smaller apartments. The new management is pretty easy to work with and are better communicating with their residents. There were some damages to the house, but overall, as long as you make it nice and clean, it is a great place to live.

Halfway decent place to live for the actual house itself except for the occasional mice and the fact that the city bus only comes through after 5pm and there are no shuttles here. There is a serious problem here with package theft. I have had 3+ packages stolen in the last 2 months and the office here could do absolutely nothing about it since they don’t have cameras anywhere around their mailboxes. Until they fix this problem I would not move in here.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact the office so we can address any issue you may be having in regards to pest control. In regards to your packages, since we do not track packages through our leasing office, please be sure to contact your carrier and let them know of your missing packages. While its not uncommon for things to become lost in the mail, 3 packages is concerning, and it should be impossible for someone to access your post box without a key.
The staff was well versed in what to do and took care of all my needs! Patrick was a great tour guide and help!
