Canyon flats is a really good apartment complex. Grat features great staff shout out Paul. Office staff are the best too. Location is amazing right down town.
Good place, amazing staff, small issues here and there, but otherwise really good! Decent amenities, the gym could have some upgrades. People are very helpful in all needs and issues.

So far my residential experience has been good, it’s really nice and the apartment is beautiful. I enjoy the view and I think the outside patio is nice to be able to go too.

Move in was fine, the room was quite a mess. They don’t have parking sensors for us and said they weren’t going to charge, but they did. Just like any other apartment complex.

So far it has been pretty good, the only thing I have to complain about is the view my apartment has, if I were to go back I would gladly pay a little more to have a nicer view, looking at a motel is not my ideal view.

Just moved here the end of June early July. It’s not a bad place. The area isn’t that great not the greatest part of downtown. The noise level is obnoxiously loud. I would not rate that many stars at all. Building has some issues that need to be addressed and some things that need to be updated. I believe that will get dealt with in time. The amenities aren’t too bad more could be added honestly the price for the special for move-in was worth the deal. It’s not too bad of a place to be live in. The nice thing about it is you have a key to get in and that’s the only way you can get in so the security is worth it and that’s a bonus I’d say I don’t agree with the parking garage to be an additional charge for residence I think it should be dismissed and I think resident should just be assigned to parking spots In any visitors for residence, just use that spot that they are signed to here You get a key to your room so you can lock up your space

apartments are ok. 24/7 gym is nice. always empty. staff are friendly. hallways stink though and maintenance takes forever to fix anything in

Everything is great. The staff are helpful and I love having nigh time security. I'm happy with what you get for the price when most apartments I'd have to start from nothing.

I like it here and it’s worth it for the price. It’s a great location, the apartment layout is good, there is security on site, the outdoor area is nice, and there’s events held every once in awhile. they’re not luxury apartments, but no college student should need luxury apartments. Some noise problems and sketchy people, but it’s never been a major problem for me in the 1 year I’ve lived here. The price is unbeatable for a location in downtown Reno.

The people at the front desk are very helpful and quick when I talk to them. The room and apartment sizes are really good for student housing too.

The community is very welcoming. The people there are easy to get along with and the amenities are good. The recreational options are excelent and available at all times.

I haven’t moved in yet but so far the people at the leasing office are super nice especially Arah. If you need something done ask for her, she made everything happen pretty quick.

Love living here and the rewards system is amazing I lived here with my daughter during school and we both have loved the community and area

Working with the leasing office was efficient and fast. Everyone was very nice and answered any and all of my questions thoroughly. They also returned my calls very quickly.

It's okay living here. I haven't had the best experience especially with the alarms that used to go off in the middle of the night, the homeless people issue, people destroying the game room and breaking gym equipment.

The staffs are friendly and accommodating. The amenities are also complete and in good condition. What I noticed is I didn't saw a security in the apartment for the past months, not likely last time that I can see them in the premises.

Have had a good experience with canyon flats besides the fire drills in the summer canyon flats is good by me !!! Would recommend for a student in school
No issues since living here other than some of the gym equipment being broken. It would be nice if those got fixed. Other than that i love living here
Good, maintenance requests may take a bit to get done. Laundry machines are in-apartment which is really convenient for student living, kitchen is nice but obviously electric stoves suck.
Its a very nice area to live in, the apartments are nice it has a good looking dinning area with decent size rooms. its fully refurbished and that is very convenient. the bathroom is awesome it has a lot of room and the shower is perfect.
Has had a rough time with security and cleaning. Currently under new management that seems to really aspire to bring the best out of the property. Hoping to have a brighter future moving forward.

The apartment is now better than we started living here. There are already security that is roaming in the building for the safety of others. The actions are already fast when you report a problem in the apartment.
This place seriously spoiled faster than milk. It started out okay last year then it quickly turned into false fire alarms every other weekend. Then our property manager dropped out and sold to some other company that is currently making all the same promises as before. Now I wake up to see homeless people camping out in the study rooms and front lobby. Last night our parking garage entrance door was stuck open and I pay $100 A MONTH for parking just for this to happen. I also just feel extremely unsafe living here as a women due to general lack of security and flaws such as the stuck open garage door. I would have left a long time ago if I was not tricked into signing a lease that promised lower rent. I am still being over charged and I do not think this new company is respecting my $150 rent ledger that was in place with the old company.

I have serious safety concerns at Canyon Flats. The frequent false fire alarms disturb our sleep and compromise our safety, and there is a lack of security personnel despite security cameras. Homeless individuals in the building create a potential safety issue. Smoking persists despite reporting, violating the smoke-free policy. Neglected landscaping with overgrown weeds detracts from the appeal. Additionally, there are issues with trash removal, resulting in piles of trash within the building. Management should address these concerns for a safe and clean living environment.
