Would give negative stars if possible! 10/10 would not recommend. We had continuous ant problems, mice, and mold issues despite keeping a spotless home. Most of our neighbors had the same issues. Our car was broken into inside of this "gated community" which is not really gated in that the gates break all the time and the don't lock the side doors. If you do live here, have fun finding a place to park. We had two cars and had to constantly move our 2nd one to the "guest parking" where it was vandalized. The property is run down and the staff doesn't care. This place was a NIGHTMARE.

I moved in around October of last year & so far I love it! Front office staff has been helpful, maintenance has been responsive, grounds have been great, the residents have been friendly & the rent is affordable. Bonus points the area is great for commute & to all the “hot spots” you need to go! Honestly recommend Canyon (:

Trying to get ahold of anyone in the office is a complete joke, you have to call 10-15 times repeatedly for someone to pick up the phone. If you have a maintenance request someone might come out to fix it or might not, if they do it takes months to get maintenance out to do anything. The gates to the apartments were open for 1 1/2 years of the 2 years my family and I lived here because they were “broken”. There has been way too many car break ins due to the gate not working. Upon move out, the office people will try anything they can to make sure you don’t get your deposit back. They will be more then happy to take your money before you move in but good luck getting anything after you sign the papers. Also the office staff is always late and leaving early so if you work there’s about a 50/50 chance the office will not be open if you need something. Management claims they fine you $50 for not picking up your dogs poop but don’t have cameras anywhere on property except by the front office to enforce this so their is dog poop everywhere you look, don’t let your kids walk in the grass! Just an overall terrible experience living here and wouldn’t refer anyone to ever live here, for the amount they charge to live here in a “gated” apartment community you would think management would care a little bit more about the residents and their needs.

unless you want to get your car broken into, have gates that don't close or have had the gate code changed in 3 years, noisy neighbors & a management office that literally doesn't help or tries to make it a safe community, i would save my money & go rent elsewhere.

I attended one of their Food Truck events and the managers were really nice, super sweet and spent so much time chit chatting with the residents. It's pretty clear they get along well. The complex us HUGE with really high end designs on the buildings and a pretty impressive clubhouse. They are remodeling and don't have the unit I want but I'll definitely check back when they have a remodeled 2 bedroom!

Once you've moved in, the staff becomes completely unprofessional not to mention the management has changed 3 times since then. Awhile back I dropped off my rent in the night drop (which is always a risk since you don't get a receipt) a few days later I received a notice to vacate on my door saying they didn't receive them. I called and told them I dropped it in the box the night before and have never had this problem. Instead of apologizing for losing my checks somehow the manager proceeds to say not only do I need to bring them new checks but I also owe them a late fee. I was not happy and since the manager was doing nothing to help I had to go above her to the property management company to get the "late fee" waived. The parking wasn't a problem at first but the past year has been a nightmare. You can't drive through the parking lot late at night or in the morning without weaving through illegally parked cars. I have complained many many times. One car has been parked in the same uncovered spot outside my window for over a year. When I called to mention it, again, yesterday the staff proceeded to tell me that car had moved. I was looking outside my window as she was telling me that and looking at the parked car still in the same spot. I was blocked in by a car and needed to leave for work and the staff told me I needed to stand outside with a tow sign and wait the for the tow truck myself if that's what I wanted to do. Instead I had my boyfriend drive me to work. Fed up.

It is regretful you feel you had this experience here in the past. We have had the same wonderful Manager in place at this property for awhile now. She has made huge strides in working with police to reduce crime in the area and to educate residents to speak up if they see something odd in the neighborhood. We have gone to an online pay system that most residents utilize.. She has also been an asset to the parking situation. We have a 300 unit apartment building there. If you think about it, that is 400-600 cars just for residents, not including guests. Parking issues have been resolved for some time with a vendor towing company. Much has changed and improved here at Canyon Park. Please feel free to stop by and see for yourself the positive changes. Thank you!
This is not somewhere you want to rent from. First of all the apartments are infested with ants the property refuses to address the issue, people are constantly blasting music so loud it shakes things in your apartment, complex has been notified and has done nothing to resolve the issue. The area is not secure considering they leave the gate wide open 90% of the time and they claim to have cameras but in reality that's not true either. Worst of all is the parking situation they give you one space that's extremely far from your apartment and when I asked an employee about being able to Park in a certain area they said it was ok then had me towed and when I contacted them letting them know an employee told me I could park there they were extremely rude and blew me off. This place is not worth the rent and they will feed you every lie out there to get you to move in. So disappointed with this place. The whole place is extremely unprofessional and a downright joke!

Rent is affordable, they're always busy working to improve anything and everything here. Management changes a lot but seems to be steady now and the staff are all pretty nice. Can't open my windows without ciggerette smoke coming in from downstairs neighbor... Parking is nowhere to be found here if you get off work late like me. Unless you want to pay for a covered parking spot... Over all it isn't too bad. Just wish I knew about the chain smoker before I chose the apartment I did...
