Property Ratings at Canyon Ridge
In summary they have big black roaches and the regular ones, spiders, mold, rude leasing director, pool always closed, no parking, and no one ever gets their deposits back.
Spent days going back and forth with the leasing department just for them to say they needed extremely private info or prove that we had $45000 saved up. This was after paying $400 just to apply. Don’t waste your time, they just want your application money.

Hello Reviewer, Thank you for your time and sharing your feedback with us. I would like to know more about your experience as this is not something we require for our applications for residency. Will you please reach out to me at MGR.CanyonRidge@GrayCoProp.com or 615.232.2292 so I may see where we may have gotten our wires crossed? I would be so grateful for your time. Sincerely, Hollydawn
I have just moved into this apartments complex…the move in experience has been great…Mr. lay at the leasing office was very professional and took his time showing the property and answering all my questions…when I emailed the property asking information about leasing an apartment there within 2 hours, I received a call from Mr. Lay and on the same day despite of his busy schedule he was kind enough to make an appointment and show me the property…and since he has gone out of his way to solve any issue I have experienced…overall a great place to call home and a very caring and professional staff managing the property…

I’ve lived here for 6yrs in the beginning it was fine when I transferred units I was told not to worry about cleaning carpet because it was there for 5 years and it was time for the carpet to be replaced. Of course when the final statement I was told they decide not to replace the carpet because it was still in good condition and that I not only owed the cleaning fee but also a carpet patch was needed. When I finally left the second unit recently there was trumped up charges for normal wear and tear in a place that things easily broke in. If I could do it over I would’ve tried harder to find a new place in the beginning of the pandemic.

The management lie and don’t provide the service you sign up for. Way too much money for crap service. And to top it all off; they rip you off when you leave with made up charges!! Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior
You can do better. They took away the ability to pay rent online, which is extremely irritating and not convenient, as they don't even have a rent drop box that is accessible at all hours. Unresponsive management, appliances desperately need updating. Noise problems, and despite multiple complaints, nothing has been addressed.

Canyon Ridge now has a way to pay rent online at www.rentpayment.com. Thank you for your feedback.
Canyon Ridge has been a home away from home. Moving here from a different state was pretty tough. But everyone at the office was a huge help and is always super friendly! The apartments are the right size and it is very quiet. The pool is great! I would definitely recommend Canyon Ridge to anyone moving to Nashville!
I was fairly happy with the look of the actual apartment, it was small but nice looking. I lived there for a year in 2013-2014 The parking was awful, I literally had to park down the hill and walk up it. There was a problem with break ins at one point even though the community is gated, my friends lock had broken on her door and the alarm kept going off because there was a guy going around trying to break in cars, so they literally made her park at the hospital across the street since it kept waking up the manager at night. And then when we moved out they tried to charge us $800 for fees, even though we made sure everything was perfect when we left. We got the charges down to $400, but then they conveniently lost the cashiers check at the office, and so they sent it directly to a debt collector and we had to pay $400 again or it would go against are credit. I was very disappointed with how things ended there and would not recommend anyone live there. I did like being near the interstate and close to the stores in hermitage but thats about the only thing. Also a warning, traffic on canyon ridge is AWFUL during rush hour.
I love the apartment. It is affordable and updated and the amenities are wonderful. There are some interesting characters that come to apartment hosted events. We live right next to the hospital and many restaurants.
If location is everything then this is the place for you because that's basically all you're going to get here. So here, you'll pay $1000 a month to live right by the interstate. Parking sucks. (Oh and watch your wheels on the obnoxiously narrow curbed gated entrance. And I drive a VW GTI.) Appliances need replaced. Carpet needs replaced. Cabinets and floorng are dated. Living area is small for a two bedroom. But hey, the pool is nice and the maintenance staff is great. It's worth noting that the kitchen is a decent size with good storage and counter space. Overall the apartment is average at best. Thank goodness for the good location... but probably not worth it for the price you'll pay.
Nice apt. Staff is courteous and helpful. Parking can be a challenge. Nice view.
