Property Ratings at Canyon Square
Eh, it's alright and a safe neighborhood but they make you jump through hoops just to figure out anything... Pool has been closed for over a month now and nobody has a single clue why apparently. Asked the office multiple times and all she tells me is "oh hopefully by the weekend it will be open" Super frustrating since this is apart of the amenities that WE as residents pay for and cannot even use... Nobody seems to do anything about it either. It's like over 100 degrees here. Crazy they have the audacity to raise the rent when they can't even fix amenities that are broken.
Washer and dryer does not work. They refuse to give us a new one. Takes 2 days to dry one load. The place is falling apart, they do not repair or clean before you move in. Regret this place and now it’s comical to see the rent increase.
Property is great. the staff is amazing. The townhome atmosphere is awesome with no one below you or above you. Water and trash are included in the rent, who could ask for more.
If you're looking for a nice, peaceful and welcoming place to live then Canyon Square is the place to go. Decent sized townhomes for the price. Maintenance always fixed my issues in a timely manner. Office staff is amazing! Very nice and professional people. Loved my time spent there!
The management here is nasty - very rude and inconsiderate. The "washer/dryer" they have is combined into a single machine that does not actually dry clothes. The apartments are falling apart and they are reluctant to do repairs. I regret living here.
Not very happy with the results of living here and hate I renewed my lease now. It's so dark in the area with only lighting in front of your door- no lightning on the corners of the unit nor buy the dumpsters, so go only on the daylight. I've been living in the heat with no AC working in the unit for months. Literally, it won't come on! No #'s shown on the ac unit to show the degrees! I made so many requests to maintenance. They sent us a letter stating that they were going to have the sidewalks done with no date on the letter; however, in the middle of the week between 8 and 5. It's now Saturday and in the front of my house I hear loud noises working on the sidewalk still not fixed while I'm trying to sleep. I had to go out and purchase a fan because it's so HOT in my apartment and I have a child. I go to the office on Saturdays in a couple times they weren't even open. I don't believe it's worth it at all. I could go on, but again, I hate I renewed my lease for a second year. Frustrated Tenant and ready to move.
There only a couple of things this apartment needs to become top shelf. 1. A pool would be first on my list. 2. The next would be adequate lighting in all areas of darkness. 3. The management is probably the single greatest asset for the owners. She is resourceful, funny, productive, astute, and charismatic. Another a positive is the amount of fresh that flows through the complex. Last, but not the least are the number of wild animals that roam the sky and area. Multiple types of birds of prey, Red Tale Hawks, Kestrel, Ospreys, as well as foxes, and multiple kinds of turtles.
