Property Ratings at Canyon View Apartments
I would not move here. They never fix anything right and if it "works" they wont replace it. I have to double or triple dry my clothes but the dryer "works". They were supposed to make these apartments more energy efficient last summer never did. Cold and hot air comes in and out of the apartment making it impossible to get it at a certain temperature. My A/C unit was never maintenance so when the summer came last year it didn't blow cold air my electric bill was well over $500. When I finally got them to come out and service it correctly, after three attempts, they left dirt from the vent all over the place and left me with a crazy electric bill even though it was their negligence. We have lost hot water for a couple days twice. It is a hassle to leave here. Also they do not know the meaning of upgrade. They paint over old damaged counter tops and cabinets, they also paint over holes in the wall that they taped over, and they use cheap paint on the doors that falls off. I would honestly use this place as a last resort.

One pool is a big empty hole full of trash and lizards that they have promised for months to turn into a BBQ area, the only thing roasting ids the trash at the bottom of an empty pool. There is no BBQ area anywhere. The pool at the office is not open and has not been open for several months according to long term neighbors. Management lies constantly about the pool and changes their lies every couple of months but still no pool. There is not free WIFI in the clubhouse as promised. Management is horrible and rude and maintenance is non existent. There is dog crap everywhere and I do mean everywhere. Dirty diapers litter the garage roofs and the grounds. The entire property stinks of urine and stale beer. There is trash everywhere including beer cans and even found a used syringe the other day. There is obvious drug activity all over the complex. It was a huge mistake to move here and I would strongly recommend that before you rent at Canyon View that you ask some detailed questions. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review of Canyon View Apartments. I understand your frustration with the office pool resurfacing and the front BBQ area. We are working on getting bids approved for the pool resurfacing and still do not have a start date. The BBQ area must be totally designed and there are many issues which must be addressed before we can start. With both projects, when dealing with other companies you have to take into account their timeframes along with services offered and see if that fits what you want or need done. I would invite anyone who is interested in Canyon View to take a tour of our community.
