Rental prices With that the on going economy and how much prices have risen in the past 3 years. Rent hikes also affect each and everyone of us. We might have to look elsewhere for housing. I know it’s not easy lower the cost of rent but sometimes we need extra help. But all in all Canyon Vista has given us the best office people, maintenance guys, and safety which is great for the community.

I have to agree with a previous review posted. Canyon Vista has become a place of control vs living. Your subjected to constant inspections. The last one was "we will enter your apt to inspect your balcony for compliance". Or they wanted a picture of your patio compliance. Now it's were entering your apt for an inspection. And recently they introduced more fee's on renters through a garbage pickup. At an extra $25 per week or $100 a month. That's less money you have for expensive groceries or gasoline or insurance. The only thing this property seems to be concerned with is taking every cent your earn. They have passed on every single expense to you the renter. The maintenance here is pathetic. They will just provide you with old recycled used stuff from other apts. You get nothing new here except maybe a sink remodel. The washer and dryers are so old they are inefficient and noisy. And let me tell you about cell phone service. If you like your phone to work do not move here. Cell service here in this canyon is absolutely horrible and your phone may or may not work. You've been warned. If you like overreach by the apt complex and want constant letters on your door this place is for you. Otherwise go elsewhere.

My suggestion to management is to utilize the signed lease contract as a tool for compliance issues with tenants, rather than resorting to threatening notices for "patio inspections." It seems absurd to target residents who have nothing on their patio. Management should be able to identify offenders through routine community walks and hold them directly accountable, rather than imposing on all residents with repeated home inspections. Furthermore, the assertion of conducting additional "We will conduct community compliance inspections in the near future as well." raises concerns about overreach. Residents should feel secure in their homes without unnecessary intrusion. As rent continues to rise, it's crucial for management to demonstrate consideration for loyal residents. The current pricing seems disproportionate to the age of the building. Such practices foster a sense of greed within the community. The deaf ears of greed.

Canyon Vista from the start, Thought my Wife and I would have a good experience, but so far its been ridiculous. We moved to Nevada from Washington and we've had bad customer service after another. I placed a work order and only one item was addressed and poorly i might add and the second part of my work order i mentioned a technician drilled into the cap of my Bathroom sink angle stop, tied a Zip-tie on it to hold the hot water valve open as the Tech Fernando left and told my wife he will be right back and never came back and did not return then had the ordasity to leave a note saying "No one was home" ??? the same day!!! And when you need someone in the office they don't like to answer there phones or the door when you are knocking ALL DAY! but the Only person who has been great to work with is the Manager Samuel; Thank you! Samuel! we appreciate you and maybe your staff can learn from you and make this a better experience for my Family and I. And NO CELL SERVICE AS THEY DID NOT MENTION TO US.

As an on the way out tenant, I would say find somewhere else to go. I’m not an apartment living person but this place made it a terrible experience. The neighbors blare music all hours of the day. Maintenance takes 3-4 visits before they fix something. Water damage on the baseboards. No cell service. There’s better options.
My partner and I are in the process of moving to Reno for a job and we were searching for the right place to live. During our search, Samantha was absolutely fantastic at answering our questions and evaluating prospective units for us as we were out of state. Though we ended up choosing another place that was closer to a prospective workplace for my partner, we both agree that if circumstances had been different, we would have easily rented a unit at Canyon Vista.
Great apartments and great neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood. Electric bill is never too high. Kids love the pool that's open year round. Staff is friendly and always willing to help.
Moving from 2 bedroom House to a 2 bedroom here was awesome. The staff from the very beginning we’re welcoming and very easy to talk to in the office. Brittany made it very smooth for our family in our application process and also moving into our new apartment, so far all the staff have exceeded all of our expectations. We are very happy now! Thankyou
No cell service at these apartments and the staff neglectd to mention that. Read your contract carefully. I applied online for a 12 month contract and they changed the date and told me I had to stay 13.5 months or pay extra for breaking the contract. When I asked about it, I was told it was their mistake but it had been to long so that date won't be changed. I told them my key didn't wok to get to the gym, I was told they were aware of it, just keep trying. Terrible customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Kristin, the director, tried to raise our deposit from $400 to $1299 five days before we were supposed to move in, quoting the Fair Housing Law as the reason why she had to do so. She and her employee Trevor both told me this. I asked two other complexes in the area if this was in fact a law and they said that it is not. I looked up the Fair Housing Law and it means only that the management cannot discriminate on the basis of race, gender, or religion. Canyon Vista led us to believe we would be able to move in (we had already signed documents), then they attempted a last minute money grab. We pulled our application and we are glad we found out how this management operates before we actually moved in.
So far I have been very happy. The complex staff have been very helpful in getting used to the new set-up. I moved from a 3-bedroom house. So everything is like brand new.
I moved into the apartment following the separation in my marriage. This is the first time I have lived alone and I am loving it. The neighbors have been great, except the smoke coming up from below and into my sliding glass door. The gym, pool and hot tub are all kept clean and in working condition. The staff has been very quick to respond to any maintenance requests. They make living alone seem easy!
