Contrary to popular belief, Wake Forest is not the home of Wake Forest University (at least, not since 1956). It is, however, a charming southern town with a consistently growing population, positioned roughly forty minutes northeast of Raleigh. The vibrant downtown district is a beautiful environment of unique shops, art galleries, and cafes in wonderfully preserved historic buildings.
The sports complex known as the Factory features everything from playgrounds for young children to ice rinks to indoor soccer. Residents enjoy the benefits of excellent schools, a low crime rate, an attractive atmosphere, and convenient amenities (several large shopping centers can be found along Highway 1). With Raleigh and Durham close by, it’s also easy to reach the bigger cities for work or leisure.

Property Ratings at Capital Creek at Heritage
We are living here because of a house fire and this is where our insurance company put us. We live on the ground floor and our upstairs neighbors make so much noise the ceiling rattles. I have spoken to management numerous times and they do nothing. Every time I speak to someone they act like it is the first they are hearing about it.
I liked this place at first. I've been here three years. But after about two I was being harassed by the admin that my visitors smoked in the apartment, that my trash was not up to par (go figure) the neighbors were noisy. People parked in the only two available handicapped spots and Finally their online system would not take my rent and I gave them a check and they held on to it so long that it bounced and they wouldn't take cash and I had to borrow to catch up. $56 late rent fee, $75 bounced check fee. That's the final straw.
This is hands down the worst community I have ever rented from. It may appear to be well maintained and the office staff may "go above and beyond" if you're a potential renter but you can forget about any type of decency from them after you've signed on the dotted line. The apartment units seem nice on the surface but the construction was rushed and things "pop" within the walls when you turn lights on, you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing (and the office will do nothing to stop it), and they will impose fees of $25 at a time if you even come close to parking outside the lines in the parking lot, put ANYTHING on your porch, or forget even one time to pull your trash can in in the morning before 9AM. There is no consideration for those who work odd hours. Just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You may pay more upfront, but it's worth it in the long run. This place is trash.
I moved to Capital Creek at Heritage 6 months ago and I absolutely love this apartment community. I love the lay out of the one bedroom apartment, I love the kitten grey carpet and the island in the middle of the kitchen. The wine rack and the overhead lighting is very sexy. This is luxury apartment living at it's best. I went on vacation and felt like it would have been more of a vacation to stay at home and use the amenities at Capital Creek. The staff was kind enough to retrieve my mail as a courtesy and the maintenance staff responds to my needs same day. The ladies in the office are beautiful and always so helpful. I feel like I have retired and gone to heaven.
My family had to relocate due to my husband's company's move. As one can imagine, it is a very stressful experience. We visited several apartment complexes and met with many leasing agents. My husband and I just knew that Capital Creek at Heritage was the place we needed to be, after meeting with Meghan. We shared our requests for our new home, including desired neighborhood qualities, aspects of the apartment, and school-zone expectations. Meghan presented us with options that would best fit our needs. From start to finish, Meghan did everything she could to accommodate our requests. We found our perfect-match, and Meghan was with us every step of the way. Words cannot express how grateful we are for Meghan's help when we needed it most. Capital Creek at Heritage has been our home, and will continue to be, until we are ready to own a home. Thank you!
