Immediately outside of Washington, DC’s southeast boundary between Suitland Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland’s location is ideal for anyone who works around the Capital area. Commuters on a budget will appreciate the fact that apartments and houses rent for much less in Suitland than in DC. Compared to other DC-area communities, Suitland offers some of the most convenient access routes to both Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and the Washington Navy Yard, making it a very appealing option for military service members.

Property Ratings at Capital Crossing
I lived here for 8 months and it hasn’t been pleasant! When I first moved in, two weeks later I saw roaches! I contact the rental office and they sent their pest control but I still kept seeing them! I live in building 3950 and I must say it is infested with roaches and mice. The laundry room is even infested! I’m only judging my building I can’t speak for the rest! Other than that the neighborhood is quiet, I never had an experience with someone breaking into my car it’s very peaceful!
Property Manager at Capital Crossing, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review and letting us know that you enjoy the quiet neighborhood and feeling of well-being in our community. Still, we are sorry that our efforts to resolve pest control issues didn't resolve the matter and want to work with you to get this taken care of once and for all. Please reach out to our office at capcross@DonaldsonMgt.com or call 301-420-4800.
One staff is very nasty to renters. Very unprofessional and takes things personal. The plumbing in this unit is terrible. A heath safety concern. Bathroom floods every other month. Sink backup every month.
I have bad experience and good experience. Capital Crossing rated 5 from the scale 1-10. Not satisfied.
I can't wait to move they have no amenities and they want to raise the rent and I can't even get things updated and I've lived here almost 6yrs. RIDICULOUS.
I lived here 20 years ago, but I came back thinking it was a good place as before but NOT! I had to move from one apartment to another one because kids was running on my head for 3yrs. Now I am in a new apartment and same problem but new neighbor that moved in are playing loud noise until early morning on week days until after 2am. This is sad. How are you paying your rent to just live in this kind of disrespect. Don’t waist your money!!!!!!!
I love my apartment! It's not an upscale apartment but the upkeep is phenomenal the grass is always cut and it's never trash outside or in the halls matter fact they clean the halls EVERY MORNING! Maintenance does work orders fast and The leasing office staff are perfect they know me by name always greet me with a smile and treat me with respect. I love Ms. Sue and Adrian! They both looked out for me many occasions. I'm renewing my lease for year 3! When I finally leave I am going to miss them dearly. Whenever I have problems they are my go-to and they never disappoint me. They are both top-notch employees and deserve promotions! Love, Ms. Keyes

I just moved in not too long ago and everything is going pretty well. Management here is AWESOME! Ms. Sue has been nothing but AMAZING to me! Anytime I have an issue she takes care of it and she genuinely cares for her residents. This is the first community I have lived in where management actually cares for the people along with the community.

Ms. Suzanne has a wonderful personality. I love how efficient she is with responding with great customer service. I came in 2 months ago and had a delinquent account. Ms.Suzanne worked diligently with me to get my delinquent balance down on rent. She was very respectful, patient, and understanding. She is a great aspiration and asset to this company, and I wish her the best. Respectfully, Resident

Nice renovations, convenient location, close to washington, dc
THE PROCESS TO GET INTO THIS UNIT WAS HORRIBLE. I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG UNIT AND HAD TO SETTLE FOR A DIFFERENT UNIT DO TO THE FACT THAT I HAD ALREADY RELEASED MY PREVIOUS RENTAL. LOOKING TO MOVE ASAP. LOCATION IS AWESOME, VERY CLOSE TO WORK AND SCHOOLS FOR MY GIRLS. WISH MY UNIT RESEMBLED THE LOCATION REVIEWS
I love it so far, closer to my job. Staff is really friendly. Just moved in n I loved it
This apartment complex is one of the best places to live in the Suitland area. It was very quiet and not too far from DC or the metro area. The apartment layout is very great and this has to be one of the best places to live for your money. My apartment is fully renovated with the latest appliances and I have little to no maintenance issues. The staff is very friends and the maintenance people are very helpful and always handle your issues as if it is their number one priority. The balcony view is what sets the apartment apart from any other complex in the area because it brings natural light into the entire apartment.
This rental office is so unorganized I was told I owe a 95 dollar fee because the leasing consultant has miss calculated and gave me a cheaper rate on top of that the apartment complex is mold infested and when you call them to fix things they take their time the kids in this complex plays in the building very loud and they've played nick knock on my door once everything I have a one year lease but I'm am ready to move now
