Nestled at the southern end of Marion County, Perry Township has become synonymous with suburban bliss thanks to its rich trove of tight-knit communities, public parks, and beautiful bungalows that line the peaceful residential streets. The northernmost region of Perry encompasses the southern edge of downtown Indianapolis and Beech Grove while housing the prestigious University of Indianapolis.
Families and renters of all types come here to enjoy easy access to the heart of Downtown Indianapolis, which lies just four miles to the north, while a thriving student population occupies the apartment complexes surrounding UIndy. Homes here are packed a little closer together than those in South Perry, but residents enjoy more diverse shopping options and affordable housing.

Property Ratings at Capital Place
this apartment complex has been nothing but a nightmare. if you want to listen to your neighbors play music all night then this is the place for you. neighbors partying all night trash and beer bottles everywhere. I went to management about the noise and all they say is fill out a form and we'll get it to the manager and we can't guarantee what will happen. so that means nothing will happen. I'm so glad I'm getting out of this place. it's also full of bugs and bed bugs. would not recommend to my worst enemy.
I currently live here and my apartment looks nothing like these images and nowhere near worth the asking price. They're already trying to double my rent with mice, a poorly working furnace, and other pests to deal with
Let me start by saying I moved here because I was coming from a new state and could not wait to move. This place is convenient to the interstate and downtown bars/restaurants. Also, the price sounds extremely attractive; I did have central cooling/heating, and the size was fantastic too, but that is about it. I came from an established lifestyle back home, and this place is what I would consider a person’s first apartment (starter apartment), so do not waste your time. This place is very dated and poorly ran. The staff does not care about their tenants at all. Maintenance men don’t speak English that well and do subpar patch jobs, and that’s if they even come. The pipes in my place burst and my carpet was not replaced; it was extracted, not to mention they wanted me to help them clean the debris from them opening my floor while aiding the extractor in moving furniture. They even told me if I did not help, then the task will not be completed. Like, wtf, since when does the lessee satisfy the complex managers’ hired contractor by helping them? I thought that was their job. There were also roaches and mice, but luckily, I had a cat, so that was a non-issue. Hot water goes out constantly, and it lasts for days or even longer than a week. The leasing management has had so many turnovers it is ridiculous. The administration tried to say they did not have records of my leaving or vacating; luckily, I emailed myself a copy and had a video of the transaction with an employee, or I feel I would have a legal issue on my hands. Lastly, the tenants are not the greatest. They are loud, messy, dirty, and inconsiderate. They do not even club their dog. They just let them go wherever they want. These tenants do not care about their homes or area, which shows.
This apartment complex has gone way way down. I would highly recommend you not wasting your time and money. They say A/C is included but more than half of everyone’s here does not work. They do no care to maintain anything. They only want your money but can’t even make this place livable. This place is infested with bugs and mice. Live here at your own risk. I wouldn’t give any stars if I could.
I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone not unless you enjoy, stepping In poop and a never ending mice problem. I think anyone with pets should by law have to clean up behind them. I give them 2 stars for rent being reasonably priced and being walking distance from stores, pharmacies, grocers and gas stations.
If you are looking for a place close to grocery stores and other major stores this is the place for you 7 minutes from downtown convenient to the city but not caught in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The apartment grounds are kept up in appearance there could be more attention taken to maintenance needs of the residents within the complex If I had to make any complaint it would be that you have to repeat your request for maintenance for weeks on end before you can get someone to actually come and fix/repair the problem. I have been here for 4 years and other than needing maintenance from time to time my stay here has been pain free and comfortable.
