Property Ratings at Capitol Commons Apartments and Townhomes
Do not under any circumstances live at Capitol Commons. The management is extremely horrible not to say the maintenance is all but nonexistent you will have unwanted extra's like mice, rat's even a cockroach or two. I would rather be homeless then live there. It's the worst place in Lansing.
The staff was very friendly and was very helpful with finding me an apartment and moving me in.Really close to just about everything. thank you
Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. I’ve had the worst experience with management. If I could give negative stars I would. Please listen to the bad reviews, it’s not worth it. Management will absolutely do everything in their power to make sure you’re taken advantage of in every possible way while spitting in your face doing it. Don’t live here. It’s not worth it. I actually think that one good review is fake.
If I could give Capitol Commons a negative star I would. There was a shootout a few months ago at one of the units on Kalamazoo Street. The bullets went into a mans apartment and almost killed him while he slept. If you can afford it take your money somewhere else. Shootouts and kids playing outside are not a good mix.
This has been the worst move yet for me. I moved from the apartment to the townhomes in Oct of 2017 and I hate it, I have complained to management several times about the parking on the sidewalk and nothing has been resolved. I truly would love to move from this place but until my lease is up I am stuck here and I hate it to.
i just moved in recently and I LOVE IT!!! The maintenance team has a GIRL on it and she is always friendly and helpful. The office staff are friendly and helpful. My sister is moving to lansing and i want her to live here. HOPEFULLY SHE WILL!!??????????
Inspections just passed and their management was red-flagged on so many things; they've got to repair and install brand new stuff because nothing was up to date and everything is broken down. Management is terrible for many reasons including: careless, disgusting, rude, unprofessional, and obviously uneducated. The townhomes and apartments are infested with mice, bats, and spiders but the management refuses to hire professionals to deal with the problem, they act like it's fine to live in rodent infested homes. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Not sure who owns the property but they definitely should fire the current management team.
