The first thing you'll probably notice about Downtown Olympia is its large, impressive murals -- these bright, colorful works of art adorn the sides of several buildings. Walk along the wide, tree-lined sidewalks and you'll discover charming shops and restaurants contained in those historic brick buildings. Head toward Puget Sound and admire the sailboats, yachts, and fishing boats dotting the water and lining the marina.
As a hub for artists and musicians, Downtown Olympia has a style and flavor all its own. Enjoy the beautiful, serene views from Heritage Park or the stunning backdrop of the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier. Downtown is home to the Farmers Market, the Hands On Children's Museum, eight public parks, five theaters, and a twice-a-year art walk.

Property Ratings at Capitol Crossing
Have been a resident here for a long time ~ most excellent heaven sent place to live, ~ was not even planning on staying so long, but the pet friendly digs are in a sweet neighborhood that is close to nice long walks around the capital, to more charming neighborhoods, or even downtown. I think it just got to be too easy here, and some of the apartment layouts are pretty amazing, with lofts, etc. The residents are kind, deer stroll thru the back run. There are so many plus factors. Very homey, cozy.
