Property Ratings at Capitol Square
The property has changed ownership multiple time over the past few years and the current ownership remove all of the locks from the security doors. Now we have to deal with homeless people sleeping in the hallways, leaving trash and yelling to themselves every night.
I would definitely recommend. I love my apartment, love the location I have no complaints I’ve transferred to a newly renovated unit and it’s amazing!
The new manager in the office Serena is very helpful and I've given her a hard time with my apartment issues. Since she been at the property I could see the change, she gave me her phone number to call her if I need anything and I am really thankful for her. I told Ms. Serena I prayed for her in church because I am thankful for her I called her crying and she really took the time to talk to me and made my day a little easy. Overall she treats the tenants as if it was her and I wanted to take the time to give thanks to her. When you come or call the office ask for Ms. Serena. I have lived here since 2016 had difficulties with my rent and when I talk to her she gives me resources to try to help.
I was very pleased with the apartment. The new renovations look amazing! Akia was very nice & helpful. The property manager on the other hand was not as helpful. But overall i would recommend these apartments to anybody.
I had been complaining for 6 years about the heat being too hot. I’m in a one bedroom, 5 radiators at the highest level where I used air conditioners and fans for the entire winter seasons until the new staff Sarina and Akia inspected my unit and I complained about my heat and it took 6 years that I’ve been here now to get that corrected. At this time I am finally pleased with the work that they have done which they’ve corrected the high heat problem. Now I’m finally comfortable in my apartment with the heat being at a comfortable level and you must know that I’m a senior person.
I Live here and AKIA was ver nice and helpful thanks in advance AKIA!!!!! ??
I am unsatified I am water leaks, mouses , and roaches nobody deserves to live like this. No one will transfer me to a new until or fix my repairs or accommodate for leaving under these conditions for 2 months. Gloria was a great in getting things done and her customer service skills was amazing and Staci was a better Property Manager then Raul is he does not care about tenants and the stress of living in unlivable and harsh conditions however they want tenants to pay rent .
This was the best experience I’ve had in rental environments.
I have lived here for about 6 months now and am very happy. My apartment was newly renovated and is really pretty. The price is really affordable compared to other apartments in the area. The office staff (Stacy and Gloria) are really nice and always make sure I am taken care of. If I need maintenance my issues are addressed that day. I would recommend this place to live.
I have been living here a year and really love it. They just got a new property manager, Pam, and she is really amazing. All maintenance issues are dealt with right away. I will soon be moving into a newly renovated unit. Can't wait! The only issue i have is that i can hear my neighbor upstairs sometimes, but i guess that's what apartment livinh is like. YOu can't beat the location, just outside of DC on Rhode Island Ave.
Nice place to live given the price and location. About as close to DC living without breaking the bank you can get. I wish the heat would work a bit more but hey its free! Nice rental lady. I enjoy living here very much.
