There’s nothing quite like renting in the District – Downtown Nashville’s heart of the honky tonk. What makes it the heart of the honky tonk, you ask? The District is located smack dab in the middle of Honky Tonk Row, the nickname for Broadway and nearby streets nearing Cumberland River that house the famous restaurants, bars, and live music venues that define Downtown Nashville’s reputation for being the home of country music.
This lively neighborhood not only offers popular food and drink options at well-known places like Toosties Orchid Lounge, across the street from Ryman Auditorium, but also historic locales like Victory Park. This area is a beautiful memorial with historic landmarks throughout the park such as the statue of Andrew Jackson. The District is also home to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, War Memorial Auditorium, Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, and Music City Walk of Fame Park.

Property Ratings at Capitol Towers
I have been living in Capitol Towers for roughly a year and a half now and I love the place. Luckily I was able to get an upgraded unit which has been completely remodeled. I have had the opportunity to see units that have not been remodeled and although they aren't as nice as the remodeled units, they are still liveable. I enjoy the fact that the complex is conveniently located, the price is perfect for the location, and the office and maintenance staff has always been helpful to me. Each apartment is sprayed for bugs monthly, there are convenient trash shoots on each hall, and locked main entrances provides excellent security. I did at one point have an issue with roaches; however, that's an issue with mostly all apartment complexes. I purchased some bug repellant from Amazon and have not had any issues since. Overall, The residents in the building seems like a close nit family, especially the more older people who have been living in the building for years. I plan to continue to make Capitol towers my home until the day I decide to purchase a home of my own.
I sent in the application fee and the paperwork a month ago and have not heard back from anyone. In the mean time we found another apartment to rent.
