Property Ratings at The Capri Apartments
They have zero problems accepting your rent but take YEARS to put money into the issues they say they'll fix when you sign your lease. Property managers are absolutely useless and don't have the capacity to solve ANY issues with the property.

Hello, and thank you for leaving our community a review. We're disheartened to read that you've had an unpleasant experience with our team, and we'd appreciate the chance to make it right. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience at 303-755-4995. Thank you, The Capri Management
I have loved living here. They have always been quick and helpful with anything I've needed. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. The leasing office is kind. Katie and Alexa are always so helpful. They personally called me to make sure I was happy with the work maintenance did following a work order I put in. When I got home I even noticed Aaron in maintenance left a hand written note for me. I am so happy with this apartment and I have lived in quite a few other places that don't even compare. This is an older building but they work so hard to keep it nice. Assuming my rent doesn't increase, I can't wait to renew my lease.

Jessica, thank you so much for leaving our community and staff positive feedback! We are happy to know that our team has made a difference in your living experience and that you're looking forward to signing a renewal with us! We're very thankful for your tenancy and look forward to serving you for many years to come. Thank you again, The Capri Management
I’ve had a great experience living in the Capri Apartments the past 2 years. I lived in a studio, and it was actually a pretty good sized space. It had 3 closets, which gave me plenty of storage space. It basically came with a kitchenette, just a fridge & freezer, stove & oven, sink, a few cabinets, and one counter-top. It did make cooking and baking difficult, but I was able to manage with my table. The AC in the building is always blasting during the summer and there’s times I have to wear a jacket ha! I loved it though! Thankful for the AC. It was a great place to live. The staff are also very kind and helpful. They seem like they do care about any issues going on. Alexa is fantastic, and always very friendly in emails and calls! When I first mentioned I was moving and wanted to stay in the area or building, she was fantastic at helping me out and seeing if I could. I did end up moving elsewhere to a place owned by a different company, but I’m always extremely appreciative of Alexa’s help! The one negative I can really think of is the parking. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give the place 5 stars. If you’re not lucky enough to move in when there’s a garage spot available, you pay way too much to park outside in spots that are being parked in by visitors or random people walking somewhere else. It’s very frustrating and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can call management during office hours, but outside of that? You’re out of luck! You can call the 24 hour line, but the people will say there’s no one they can call so you can just write a note and leave it on the car. It’s typically in the evening or on the weekends that people are parking in spots so there’s nothing you can do about it. If management could possibly give towing info to the 24 hour line for when someone is parked there, that would be helpful at least. Other than that, everything else about the Capri was fantastic!

Dear Kaitlynn, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a well-thought-out review. We take all feedback very seriously and yours will help us to better our community for our current and future residents! We agree- our studio apartments are not only spacious but have plenty of storage as well. We're so glad to hear that Alexa made your living experience a positive one! We are lucky to have her and appreciate you pointing out that she was helpful and friendly. As far as the parking goes, we completely understand your frustrations. We will continue to work on a solution to ensure that the parking spots available are only being utilized by our residents. Again, we thank you for the feedback and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours! Sincerely, The Capri
I moved here October 2014 and will be moving out in August 2016. The only positive thing I can say about living here is the apartments are spacious (especially the studios) and it is in a good, up and coming location. Everything about the apartment is outdated. The floors are uneven and creak, covered with cheap dust colored carpet or faux wood flooring that is not aligned with the wall, so there are gaps between the floor and the wall. The appliances are outdated and worn; the dial on the oven is completely worn off, so I am unable to actually use my oven, jus the top of the range. The walls are a plaster and cheaply painted, so even though my door and door frame was freshly painted, I often pick up paint chips as they are cracking around my door frame. When my ceiling was leaking, management fixed it the next day, however, they did not repaint the plaster or ceiling, so there are big patches of discolored or whitewashed walls and ceiling. I ran a test and it was comparable to the AOL dial up I had when I was a kid. In 2014 I was told that in early 2015 we would be able to pay rent online, which has not happened. Not only that, but due to a bank error my rent was late and they went out of the legal eviction process to threaten me when I was able to send verification from my bank that the appropriate amount was on its way to them. Not only was this uncalled for, but out of the state's legal eviction structure. They also promised that, once your rent check is received and processed, they would send a receipt.. months later and not receipt has been emailed, or provided. When I moved in I requested a parking spot, which I got. When I sold my car and asked about the possibility of relinquishing the spot, they said I would have to wait to resign my lease. when the time came I was told i would have to continue paying for the spot i wasn't using. The building is not well maintained or clean - there was a soda can sitting on the ground for 3 days before I got fed up and threw it out. The hallways are dusty and dirty. Their pet policy is archaic - for a poorly maintained building, they do not allow dogs. When they did discover a dog on the premises they put up flyers on the door saying that the dog had defecated on the premises, but I live on the same floor as the dog and never once heard it or saw it exhibit any behavior that was out of line.. including any animal waste.
So, yeah, to be honest, I have been searching for a new apartment for the last three months because the first one I found fell through… I had just about given up completely, and was ready to move out of Colorado, the state that I love, at 33! So then, I saw the ad on TV ,apartments.com, then I downloaded the app! I called on a couple of apartments to get a couple callbacks, yeah, of course a couple didn't come through. But then I got a call back from Will Ford and Kelly at The Capri… They have made it the most amazing Experience that I have ever been through! Especially, when you just want to find a home and just rest your head! So, all in all, I will, and always will, recommend plenty of places, and apartments.com!!! Apartments.com is a one-stop shop
