Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

Been a resident here for two years (not consecutively) and I had picked this place for it being the cheapest for high quality compared to other apartments in the area. My husband and I love the proximity to our favorite place, Akashi and the short drive to Xscape on 1488 for a movie on occasion. Job opportunities in new Magnolia right up the road and 18 minute drive to I-45. It has had it's ups and downs, but overall the best fit for the area.

We moved to the area from out of state and were looking for a complex with community amenities. We were excited about the pictures we saw online and the convenience of being close to the area we were looking at. While in the application process, we found many extra charges, asked for a video walk through and we were told they don’t do that, and had to send some documents multiple times, with all that being said we were assured that all of the apartments/amenities look like the pictures online and there aren’t any surprises. We decided to trust that. We were assigned an apartment about a month before arrival. Upon arrival, we entered a dirty apartment. They had someone come clean. There are bugs in light fixtures, fixtures in the bathrooms don’t match, some are rusting. There are paint splatters on the floor, freezer doesn’t work, and there is no globe over ceiling fan light. This apartment is livable, but not on the upper end. It did not give good first impressions.

Capri Villa has become a great a great place to call home, with a spacious apartment and great scenery to lookout. The whole complex gives you this retreat feel. It's very peaceful and pleasant. Most everyone is really nice. There’s limited security to deal with those residents who are not. Dumpsters start overflowing on Friday. But the landscaping is really beautiful.

We love living here! Office staff is so helpful! Maintenance takes care of any issues in a timely manner! The amenities are great, especially the pool and dog park!
Has its ups and downs. If more financially feasible, could stay for a few years. Great community of people and convenient location near the lake and marketplace.
We have been very happy with our stay. Our kids enjoy the park and being able to ride their bikes around the complex. Our dogs even enjoy the dog park. The complex is always clean and kept up. We are always informed of changes about happen.
DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENTS TRIPLE CHECK YOUR CONTRACT. My car was registered since the beginning of the contract and they still tow it. They told me once the property manager got back we could see if they would arrange something. I been emailing them since the beginning of the month and no answer I called and they won’t give me credit for what I had to pay since my car got towed. Which is their fault because my car is Registered in the contract and was registered in the application as well. Since moving in they have changed 3 times the website were you do your payments. This place is a joke there is mold coming out in the restroom. Lights keep going off. There maintenance is minimum there is trash everywhere.
It's an awesome place to stay. Very safe and comfy all around. Just have to manage all the pet poops all around by using camera's just like other apartment complexes.
I had a lovely experience while living at Capri Villas. If I had maintenance issues, they were handled in a timely manner and the staff was always pleasant when interacting with them. Thank you for a wonderful three years.
The management is professional and respond to work orders in a timely manner. There are only 3 dumpsters for the complex and they fill up quickly. Often times there is trash overflowing onto the road.
I've been a resident here for quite a bit, and where there is always going to be issues in complexes, what brought me back was the community of people willing to help out a neighbor. You can't find it anywhere else. The prices are a bit high and it's not a forever home, but it's ours for now.
We have never had any issues at this complex. Maintenance was also very nice and incredibly speedy with the repairs that were needed on my unit!

Nice and clean. We met our neighbors and they were quite friendly. Beautiful trees surrounding. What I really like is that you can't see the complex from the highway. This definately makes for a more peaceful neighborhood!

The apartments are by far the cleanest and quiet that we have ever been to, however people not picking up after their dogs is a huge turn off. The apartment was move in ready and little or no prep was needed.

I like the apt because it’s spacious and it’s quiet. The amenities are very good. It’s dog friendly as well. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Behavior is out of control at the pool. Security lights have been out for over a week. A truck is being built in one of resident’s parking spots. There is not even enough parking in the evening when I get home from work. Expired tags everywhere which makes me think these cars are not being driven
