We have lived here over 2 years and we have enjoyed it. We are thrilled that we have 2 free reserved parking spaces and plenty of guest parking. There have been some changes with staff but we are thankful Melissa is still here. We also love the new area at the pool with the tv, grills and fire pit.

First, they made a mistake that costs us thousands of dollars and basically said “oopsies”. Then they told us they ran out of key fobs so I have to wait for someone coming in to enter the parking garage. Now they’ve given another tenant our parking space and when we told them they said “we’ll fix it”. Now they’ve left on thanksgiving break and there is still someone parked in our spot and I now have no parking space. Do not try to live here.

I have lived at Carillon Apartment Homes for 7 years and do not want to move from my apartment. As an older adult I feel safe here and content with the the Carillon environment. I particularly value the professionalism from the office and maintenance staff. The Assistant Manager Melissa, stands out as professional, friendly and extremely helpful when approached with any issue. She then works tirelessly toward finding a resolution. Another important feature at the Carillon is the in-house maintenance department which allows maintenance issues to be resolved quickly and efficiently. I also appreciate the designated garage parking which is well lit and allows residents to park on the same floor as their apartment. This feature makes it easy to transfer groceries from the car to home. Another nice garage feature is having ample designated areas for guest parking.

After living here for close to 7 yrs., I must say that I still love my apartment and the secure feeling that it gives me. My neighbors are very nice, the maintenance staff are top notch and our assistant manager Melissa is one of a kind. She is always available to answer questions as well as requests for any and all maintenance repairs. She always has a smile and warm greeting when I see her. Yes, I plan on living here indefinitely!

I would not recommend this complex to people who have dogs and want to walk them inside the complex. There is poop everywhere you walk and no one seems to care to pick up after their own pets. I understand it is not the complex's job to pick up poop but rather than just giving out verbal warnings something needs to be set in place that is more invasive. Such as cameras or someone walking the premise like they said someone would be. The staff however is amazing! I love Rochelle and Melissa, it's just the tenants that are horrible at being pet owners.

When I told my friends in Manhattan beach, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood what I paid in rent they were shocked at how poor the quality was. There was tons of damage to the apartment when I got it and I when I pointed it out during the walkthrough I was assured it’s not big deal and it was left off my inspection form. Needless to say I got a 2k bill when I moved out for those exact damages (about $500 was legitimate out of the 2k). Aside from that, there is constant noise from De Soto avenue. And I mean constant. All hours of the night you hear loud mufflers, tractor trailers, and regular traffic exiting the 101 and traveling down De Soto. Even more complaints - the amenities such as pool and gym were unavailable due to “renovations”. When they opened back up everything was identical. The real Reason was to fix the pipes underground causing all sorts of water issues. These issues caused our water to be turned off 27 separate days with the longest period being 7am to 11pm. No reimbursement, just apologies and continues emails about the next shutoff which never seemed to have the water turned back on when said. The list goes on but at this point you are hopefully going to search for a different apartment, and I mean literally any other apartment to rent.

I've lived here for 3 years, actually moved in when the new management company MG properties took over. The place has since become run down. The property is dirty, there are homeless people sleeping in stairwells and in the past on the roof. The pool is run down and they allow outside people to use it. The units are old with black outdated appliances and 10 year old carpeting that they won't replace. People that live here leave their trash every where. There has been an old abandoned couch in the middle of the garage for months. Dog poop everywhere, people leave their trash everywhere except in the trash chutes. Run away do yourself a favor

We had a short term lease here at Carillon. We enjoyed our time there, cleanliness, privacy, accessibility, management all get 5 stars. Melissa really took care of us and we could not be more happy with her! Rochelle was also amazing! Very friendly and on top of everything. We had a 1 bed 1 bath on the 3rd floor. Our apartment had an island and an open floor concept which was amazing. Plenty of parking! Guest parking galore at this place which is super nice if you have more than one car or have family visiting. Always felt safe here. Decent amenities which ( because of covid) we did not get to enjoy but they were clean and well kept. All in all if we didn’t have to relocate we would have been so happy here!
Apartment hunting and Rochelle was able to fit me in to look at a 1 bedroom available. She made the process easy and smooth! I would definitely would move in!! Great space and quiet environment.
I moved into Carillon last month and I love it here so far, especially because the entire place is clean. The gym, pool, elevators, and hallways are cleaned every day. The gym equipment is pretty nice, so I canceled my gym membership. The pool and jacuzzi are very clean as well, so I'm able to do my laps in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi. The leasing office staff are also nice and responsive. Overall, I think the price is right for what I'm getting with this place.

At the end they said they cannot give me any credit and also charged me for using water and hot water, that is ridiculous! I still have the issue! Also we used to pay around $80 for utility and suddenly they increased the amount to $150, can you imagine?! I'm not satisfied with the place that I'm living and I'm disappointed! Do not recommend to anyone!

Run and stay clear of this place. We have lived here for 2 years. First year was fine. Second year got worse day by day. The rent increase is crazy. Recently lots of violence, shootings and trespassing going on in this place. Management DOES NOT CARE. Police is here several times a week. Something is always going on. The rent is crazy high for a very unsafe building. There is only one window in apartment that opens which you cannot open because someone is always smoking weed outside and stinks the whole apartment. Floors are so thin you can hear people walking and pounding upstairs to the point where you can't sleep and management does not care. If you file Multiple complaints nothing is done about it. Leaving this place ASAP. Will never rent here again. Please stay away from here.
So Hola, I am recent graduate of Pepperdine University, and an out of stater, im originally from the south. So you know in my mind BIGGER is better! I have lived in one other apartment complex besides this one, so what i look for in an apartment is upgraded appliances, in home laundry, and covered/assigned parking! because who wants to come home, and have to search these LA streets for a parking spot! NOT ME! So the Carillion Apartments are marvelous, on the pricey side compared to my last place, but these babies are sweet. Large and spacious, I live on the top floor so we have high ceilings, its great, makes my apartment look real good yall LOL. The carpet is nice, throughout the bedrooms, and living rooms, and then the kitchen is like a wood floor. The Appliances are pretty nice, they werent made in 1999. So I have a roommate who went to college with me, she has the master, which is super spacious with a large walk in closet, large bathroom and plenty of windows (also a nice ceiling fan). I have the other bedroom on the other side of the apartment where in the hallway between my bathroom (which is ginormous as well) is the laundry room, nice washer and dryer with shelving for your detergent and other storage needs. My room is also HUGE! and i also got a walk in closet, AMEN. I literally am in love with my room, I looked at my roommate when we moved in and said we are not moving for a while. So we also have a super sweet patio! Its huge you can literally fit like a table and chairs out there! whatever you want! Across from the kitchen is also another storage closet! Its great all the storage space you get. So on to the amenities of the complex, each aparment does get two covered parking spaces! The only thing i dont like is that the garage openers are kind of weak so you have to get a little close to the gate which isnt a big deal but it gets annoying sometimes. Okay the pool is beautiful, nice and clean! The gym is better than your average apartment gym, they have some nice equipment to get a nice little work out in! And get this, they have yoga classes on wednesdays.... I mean whaaaaaaaaa who does that! Oh and this complex is very furry friends friendly, they have a beautiful dog area that is very clean, and nicely manicured. The residents here are very respectful! Everyone is clean, well in regards to community property lol. Idk whats happening in their homes lol. But i love this place. Its amazing, the front office ladies are AMAZING. S/O Precious
the apartment itself is beautiful and The staff is awesome! The maitenece always accommodates requests/ issues in a timely manner. The one issue is the parking. Each apartment had their own spot, but depending on where that spot is, you could have quite a walk to your apartment. I landed up renting two separate units in this building and both were a bit of a walk to get from my car to my door... Made it awful when bringing home large grocerie trips. Not to mention leaving the parking structure! Every time you want to turn left, you have to wait for the light to change and during busy times, be prepared to get caught in the intersection in traffic at some point. Also, guest parking is at the very bottom floor or out front by the leasing office.. Not accommodating when living on the top floor. And the front parking spots were always taken by renters. Parking at this apartment was just a pain and has not been my favorite!
We have been living here for 3 years and we love it! The pool is gorgeous, it has a fireplace and a jacuzzi and cabanas! You feel like you are at a hotel! It is also walking distance to great restaurants and shops including the newest addition to Warner Center The Village which is opening September 2015!!
