Carmel Canyon Apartments

The property is beautiful and the apartments are very spacious. I came in for a tour, Desiree and Rose were very friendly and welcoming.

This apartment is so much nicer than the last one. I moved in because it is a great value, but I have found that its best feature is the human energy here. The manager, assistant manager, and my neighbors are caring and friendly. This is rare --an apartment complex that truly is a community.

Quiet, great management and maintenance team, clean, peaceful, fun (lots of planned events), nice upgrades, beautiful pool, well kept grounds, dog friendly.

Love the location. Right down the street from Alamo Ranch! Priscilla(our leasing mgr.) was awesome! Very professional got us squared away! Love the beautiful property and amenities! Highly recommended!

May and my elderly mother has been without AC for two weeks. Week one she wasn’t addressed at all. Week two a part has been ordered.

Maintenance took care of my work order within minutes of me submitting it to the Property Manager Ms. Ashley. Staff is always so friendly

I have been a resident here for over 3 years and have seen multiple office and maintenance representatives come and go the most recent Ms. Ashley the Prop Mgr has been the nicest most personable yet. I always see her and the maintenance guys outside walking the property picking up trash and ECT. . .I love the fact that the property is improving for the best and enjoy seeing the new changes that are occuring. Thank you for powerwashing it's greatly appreciated.

I moved here in Apr. I haven't been able to login to see my account bill. I spoke to several employees about this issue. "Several" mind you because they can't find a employee who want to stay. This most recent time Ashley property manager tells me "um, you going your going to have to call rentcafe yourself. They going to ask you questions." So I call they just ask what's they apartments name, what the apt number, and my name. So I had to do someone else's job. to find out it is still on Carmel Canyon to fix the issue. i ask to speak to the regional manager to make a complaint. No help there, so I asked to spoke to her boss. She told me "there's only one person. He is on vaca for a month and he doesn't call people back". Carmel Canyon promotes a walkway that is congested to their property. I informed them about the number of snakes other resident's and I've seen on the path. As well as in the gated area of the property. Again Ashley says to me "oh we are only responsible for what is in the gate. Your going to have to call the city yourself uh-huh." Yet again I have to do someone else's job. Just this morning I saw another snake. The management company that is in charge of this property. I have first hand knowledge, they don't call you back. Even with the new employee property manager Ashley. She was supposed to call me back on these issues as well as others. "uh-huh(while nodding her head) I will call you back, uh-huh I will call you tomorrow." Not once did I get a call. Went to the office and told her never got a call back. "Oh yeah" was my response! They are under and overcharge residents, can't hold employment, rude, don't care about their residents, real behind on the paperwork and numbers. DO Not COME HERE turn around!!!

I would recommend but I think they need more maintenance people or a groundskeeper to clean up trash. Stairwells have stained and litter on them. Wishing the residents would also be more considerate with their garbage and litter habits.

The only thing that concerned me was that the pet deposit and pet rent was a bit higher than the average fees.

I would highly recommend this community over any. I love the privacy and respect everyone has here for each other.The staff is very accomodating for anything you may need and very easy to talk to . They are respectful and understanding. The maintenance is very courteous and keeps the property looking great and operating as it should. It has been 3 years now and I am thankful everyday to call this place my home. Oh and the breathtaking views of the beautiful trees in our backyard and lovely walking/riding trails is wonderful to look at and use.

It is a beautiful community aND reasonable amount for the property. The bad experience is a tenant cause property vehicle damage to a brand new vehicle I purchased and provoked a fight. I sent an email to Ryan about the situation and after a few days of not hearing anything I decided to call during my busy schedule . Ryan was very caring and I believe he addressed the issue because after a few weeks I never saw this kid again. I never knew the name of the individual who damaged my car and I don't have proof but I can say since the confrontation that is when my vehicle was damaged. There was also loud stomping upstairs almost everyday and it seemed like they were purposefully doing the act. Property was great and so was Ryan. I thank Ryan for helping us out but I never knew the outcome of that kid to report him to make a police report on him. We miss living here but wish there was a 24 hour security guard that wants to make a difference in a good community.

I would recommend this because I love a smaller community very intimate nice setting very peaceful landscape clean loves the pool.

Great location, great floor plan (I had a 3-bedroom). Horrible parking situation and even when illegal parking was reported, nothing was done. One vehicle was parked there over a month, taking up a resident space without movement, without a parking permit.

Location and building is a good size to were you don't have to walk far to get to the amenities and mail box and office

I walk into my apartment and I'm always smiling. It was so easy to make the apartment our new home. The amenities, the layout are perfect.

Apartment manager has been nothing but courteous to us and when a problem does arise they are quick to fix it without any attitude

This is a pleasant community with great amenities. I feel that it is safe and that any issues would be dealt with promptly as they occur.

The community is well kept & the price is reasonable for the location and amenities. Maintenance requests are ALWAYS handled within 24-48 hrs.

It clean nice peaceful what an person like m working 12 hrs would expect to come home too

It's a great community. The rent is very reasonable for the great features and amenities.

Because I feel it is a very well maintained and lovely place to call home despite the difficulty getting in and out of the apartment because of it being a highly traffic area. I feel very comfortable here and safe.

Its a safe homey place to live.

Its only been about 6 months that I've lived here and I do not have any complaints! I have been so pleased with the friendliness of all my neighbors as well as the management and all property staff. I really look forward to renewing my lease and being a long-term resident.

Carmel Canyon is a nice place that's quiet and secluded. It's small but that's what makes it so charming. I have a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath and I love the floorplan. The vinyl wood flooring makes for easy cleanup if one of my dogs has an accident. They are pet friendly, but sometimes there is so much pet waste, you have to navigate it. Overall, Maintenance and Office Staff are accommodating and helpful. I won't move until i buy my first house.
