If I could give it 0 stars, I would. New management took over October 2021. The most unorganized management team I’ve ever seen. They take forever to fix IMPORTANT ISSUES in the apartment to the point you have to threaten to call the city before they fix it. When I moved out, I still had some items. Went back to the apartment and they stole my mirror before I could even give them back my keys. I’ll come back once new and BETTER team takes over.
Management has no idea how to manage, they are extremely forgetful and dont care about you at all whatsoever. Couldnt even end my lease correctly when i moved out and they tried charging me another months rent after i moved out. Tried calling three times to fix it, and dont even know if its fixed or not. The complex is also full of loud, crappy, inconsiderate people. Horrible experience
new owner took over end of 2021 and it has gone down the drain. understaffed, have not gotten anything fixed even when I've requested multiple times. Gate doesn't work. there have been vehicles being broken into. catalytic converter stolen from my vehicle and window broken 2 days later. neighbors are having the same problem. there was security, they did away with that. lots of weed smokers in the parking lot even during the day. do not come here. I've been here 2 yrs and it's very bad these past 2 months. staff isn't doing anything about the complaints that we all have.
they rarely answer the phone, and when they do, they don't answer your questions. they still don't have a manager from what i know of and they wont transfer you to someone higher than the leasing agent. i was hoping when i heard the property was being sold that we would get a better company, god knows the company before was horrible. i am hoping they can get someone in here that can manage this property properly. it really needs it.

I had removed my previous review as the Regional Manager and Complex Manager had contacted me, and it appeared things might actually get better. I was completely wrong. Ever since the new management company took over the property years ago, it has been steadily going downhill. Residents leaving trash outside their front door all the time. Residents using grills on their patios and balconies, just inches away from the building. They allow residents to cram as many people as they can into the units. Security is a joke. Cars going through the parking lot with loud music. Residents sitting in their cars playing loud music. There is absolutely no sense of community. Management just doesn't care. Had a meeting with the manager one day, and he wasn't paying attention. Right in the conversation, he gets up and goes into another room. This complex will not get any better until a totally new management company buys it.
The follow up from the staff is terrible. No hot water for over 24 hours in the whole complex. No ETA given, and of course the staff stop answering the phones before close. I have to get a hotel room as I have been unable to shower.
Roach an ant infested! Manager does not respond to complaints. Only good thing about this place is the location. Apartments are small & overpriced.
I recently move to Carmel creek, and I'm very please with management they make you feel very welcome and at home. Michelle is the best!!! I applied one day, the next day I was approved and the day after that I was moved in to my new apartment. She makes the process very smooth sailing! I love my new home. Thanks so much Michelle! Its located by every store and things i like to do! Location is perfect

Recently moved in and have had no issues. The rent is fair and the area is maintained well. The staff is excellent, very professional and very nice. Moved in from out of town and Michelle has helped me every step of the way. Courteous and prompt with her responses when I requested information before moving in and very helpful with allowing us to get situated.
I've been bitten by roaches twice while sleeping. (I don't keep a dirty place or food laying around) The roaches are coming from the numerous unsealed gaps in the wall (especially the kitchen). Request to seal these gaps has been ignored and unaddressed. The roach treatment (even the advanced treatment) does not work. Constant A/C issues......narly 10 since moving here. Its always something that they claim is going to permanently fix the issue. Most recent.........NO A/C at all on 5/26/2018 to current (5/28/2018)) Doesn't matter that I had my kids for the weekend or that this was close to the 10th call behind the A/C issue.......they couldnt fix it. Better off living in a cardboard box in the alley.......you would probably get less roaches and better cooling.
This is a nice community, however the robberies have begun to get out of hand. Every other day there is a notice being sent out informing us of another robbery. Security sleeps in the car at night instead of patrolling the property. I no longer feel safe here. I will not be renewing my lease

We moved to Houston 3 weeks ago, so we had to do everything online. They were clear on what we needed to send and we got approved after 4 days. We were able to get a 2 bed, 2 bath for a really cheap price and tehy are clean, no cockroaches, there was a weird smell at the beginig but they took care of it really quick. The only issue is just the laundry, the washers are really small. Overall, we are Happy with the price we got.

When I decided to move into wilshire place I was pregnant. I had read a few reviews, some good and some bad, but little did I know what I was in for. It all started of good until the roaches started coming out. I had no idea my apartment was infested with ROACHES! A few months later when I had my baby I had him crawling around and saw a FLEA on him ! I then realized my place was infested not only with ROACHES but FLEAS TOO! I, of course, reported it and left the apartment ASAP. The management did not have anybody come out to exterminate until a week later. I refused to stay at home and they blamed me because "they didn't know what I was bringing into my home." Their management is ridiculous and I have been ignored on more than one occasion! They are only nice to you when you don't complain. Don't rent here, unless you don't mind ROACHES crawling all over you at night! TRUE STORY!!!
