It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Carmel Pointe
I've lived here for about 4 months, and it has been pretty bad. The noise level is awful. All you hear is cars and sirens all day long, no matter the time of day. There are no ceiling fans in any bedrooms and also no washer and dryer. Our fridge started leaking oil, and it took them a week to send anyone out. When the person did come out, he claimed we spilled soda. We had to have him come back again after it leaked even more and he still found nothing wrong with it, claiming he was going to contact his supervisor but no one has gotten back to us about it after a month. People hangout in the laundry facilities and smoke inside, and the security does nothing about it. The laundry facilities are hot, and also the light is broken. Some of their washers even flood the room so wear your rain boots while doing laundry!! There is limited parking and people are terrible parkers, taking up two spots for no apparent reason. The gym is fair, and is always hot. I am not sure if there is any air conditioning in it. The pool by the gym has been growing pond scum on it for about a month, so I'm sure it is attracting mosquito. I am SO glad that my lease is only a 6 month one.
My apartments are Carmel Pointe, and my feelings for these apartments are kinda two sided. I absolutely love the staff; they do everything they can to help you out if your in a tuff bind, just make sure you keep in contact with them and let them know your situation. The rooms are a decent size and I love how they allow large dogs. The down side is the location and the price for the location. The area isn't safe and has had multiple murders in the area. If you do decide to decide to rent from here keep in mind of the area you will be moving to.
I lived here and moved due to family situation now I'm in the process of moving back in every since I moved out I haven't found another place like it they mention 24 hour maintainence they always on time 24 hour security I never had a problem management was the best I love these apartment there is no place like Carmel pointe
i love my apartment, well when I say I love my apartment I mean just MY apartment the apartments all around I don't care for bad neighbor hood but great staff on site. Never had any real issues except parking never none available and my personal parking is always being stolen. But hey u get what u pay for! Don't expect a top notch place paying less
I really enjoy my new place it's a great size apartment very spacious. I like that it has two pools and a playground for the kids. I also like that it has a gym and multiple laundry rooms on the property. Its very quiet and peaceful.
