I’ve been in Carnaby Village for 4 years now. The community is nice and quiet. The units are spacious. The 3 levels gives the feel of a home. Most my neighbors have stayed here for 6+ years. People generally stay here until they are ready to purchase an actual home.
Carnaby village was always clean and kept nice! They had a lot of events and kept a clean channel of communication for mantience, weather, etc! The office staff is also very friendly!
My townhome is nice and spacious. Good layout with nice updates. Maintenance is stellar and always comes promptly. Would recommend Carnaby Village to anyone looking for a place.
Ive been here since May of 2024, I can honestly say its really quiet and the neighbors mind their business.!! The rental office people are very giving and kind.! For the price and area its a great place to live.! Maintenance is always on their job as well.!! 9/10 would definitely recommend.!

Carnaby Village is a nice place to call home. The huge townhome with a basement is definitely the standout. The maintenance is great and responsive. The parking can be tight but manageable.
Very clean property, the main office people are very friendly and do a good job of communicating any changes around our neighborhood. I lived here as a child and moved back as an adult. Happy with my choice.
I have been here for 7 years going on 8 I Like the space here and the convenience to get around to everything that I need I never really have to leave out of my neighborhood. The office managers are very helpful and diligent about working things out.
This is a nice place to stay. It is very quiet and grounds are clean. Staff are really helpful and makes great efforts to address any issues you have. Pool is kept clean. Maintenance is very knowledgeable and gets the job done. Apartments are of good quality and are modern.

Me and my husband loves carnaby village! In October it will be a year that we have stayed here and it has been great a lot of space, nice friendly neighborhood and maintenance is good as well.
We stayed here for three years and loved it. The grounds are always kept clean and anytime we had a maintenance issue it was always resolved quickly- emergency repairs were always done same day. Maintenance staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Mounds beyond mounds of trash. Nothing is never done. The qulity of the place is a joke. They show you beauty and you get garbage that's not done. Bugs all over, bees, wasps, huge flies, spiders, fleas,ect. Lot of pest. Everything is outdated. Basement floods, They slapped a coat of matte paint on the wall of course it stains easy af and is just dull. These people painted over money my guy. Thats the amount of laziness. They have plenty of space I suppose. Appliances are old. Apartment looks old. It's not worth the money at all. I can't even begin to explain how bad the experience has been. 1 year lease that's it. Id rather break the lease honestly.
Girlfriend and I have been looking for some apartments in this area and Carnaby looks good online. We went to check it out and things looked good at first, until we kept driving around to the back near the Dumpsters. Now im pretty lenient as far as trash goes, dumpsters get full especially around trash day but there was MOUNDS of discarded rubbish, old mattresses and broken furniture. FAR more than one households worth. We immediately left and stopped considering the place as an option. I only wish I had taken a picture of the disaster before I had left.
cons: drafty windows during the winter. Horrible parking, never can find a parking spot. Basement have flooded several times when heavy rain. Bathroom window is rusty, had mold and mildew upon moving in. (all windows/patio definitely need to be upgraded.) One maintenance guy so it takes days for something to get fixed. stove is outdated and doesn't work properly. pros. the kitchen/bathrooms upgrade is beautiful. Spacious rooms. The neighborhood is quiet, even during the summer. The rental office team are nice and understanding. The apartments are seconds away from the freeway.

Pros-The apartments are very spacious and the landscaping is very nice. Cons-the maintenance service is of poor quality. If there is a minor service such as fixing kitchen drawers or leaks, they are put on the back burner. Because they only have one maintenance man to complete all of the services, the turn around time for CARE is horrible. The quality of upgrades is poor. Some bathroom sinks are not leveled, caulking on the floors and tub area is not professionally applied. It looks like an ameatur has completed the work. If you are looking for space, great landscaping and paved parking lot, this is a wonderful place. If you are interested is space AND quality of appliances, quality of work and quality of service avoid this place. There are plenty of places that PROVIDE ALL of the above for the SAME price or a Little not more (you get what you pay for)
I want to say that the service I had when I came to the property was awesome, the leasing agent that helped me named Christina was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, she actually took me on a tour of the community and i was able to view a unit that looked exactly like the photos i saw online, Christina is very personable and made me feel at home and not like a customer. I would recommend this community to anyone Thanks.
Maintenance is a joke here. We are ending our one year lease, and several of the issues we had when we moved in were never taken care of. DO NOT GO FOR THE "UPGRADES"" THEY TRY TO TALK YOU IN TO. Our basement had mold grow from under the paint. A QUEEN SIZE BED WILL NOT, I REPEAT, WILL NOT FIT UP THOSE STAIRS, YOU WILL BE FORCED TO CUT YOUR BOX SPRING IN HALF. There is apparently only 3 maintenance people for all of their Columbus properties, and they don't make proper work orders (they write them on post-it notes and lose them). Bottom line, way overpriced for the quality of service received.

First, we would like to address your statement about the number of Maintenance personnel as it is incorrect; This community has 3 Service Techs on staff, while each of our other communities has their own Service Techs, and that number varies based on the size and needs of the specific community. The upgrades to our homes are standard. These updates are being done to each home at the community as they become vacant and available for lease. We do not try to ‘talk’ anyone into a home that they do not want or will be unhappy with. We are also sorry that you feel the office does not handle your requests for service appropriately. Requests are entered into our software and printed when they are submitted. Service requests can also be submitted in a variety of ways, outside of the management office. Residents may also submit a request for service by using our online form, sending an email to our resident service center, or by calling the dedicated 800 line. Requests do not need to be submitted to the office directly and residents are welcome to use the service center should they so choose. The community features 2 different styles of townhomes; One of the two styles that is offered can present an issue with box springs in the stairwells. However, no one is ‘forced’ to cut their box springs. This was your own personal choice. We apologize if you felt as if no other option was available. We wish you the best at whatever community you choose after your departure and again thank you for your thoughts. I adore my rental office. If you need they are there for you. I love the spacious townhomes. I love that the neighborhood feels like a community with all of the kids running around playing together. I honestly love my home. I have been here a year and I am not moving. Close to freeways and restaurants.
I've lived at Carnaby Village since August of last year and it has been nothing but pleasant. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Every maintenance request that I've had, has been resolved immediately. The property is well kept and very clean. The town homes themselves are spacious and in good condition with more "modern" updates. The community is nice, very quiet. They even allowed me to take in a cat with very short notice and were more than accommodating in that process. They also graciously offered to hold a few packages for me when I had to leave town on short notice. They go above and beyond for their tenants and have created a wonderful community within the town homes. It's truly a great place to live and I'm looking forward to the next few years here.
