Property Ratings at Carriage Hill Apartments - Dearborn Height...
they hired two very straight forward and impatient people as the leasing managers one left got a raise the new one is the same. the maintenance covered up mold with plaster and i said the sink is clogged and they said no it’s like that. they gave me a broken balcony and a moldy bathroom and a broken screen door and basically refuse to fix it but im still gonna live her just what has the world come to
Don’t move here everything is old and will not work. Moved here and everything was supposed to be renovated nothing is and. Air neither heat works dishwasher leaks smell like sewer just overall do not rent here.
Since the day I moved in here I’ve had issues. From my carpet, to my kitchen, to the tub and my sink. Don’t waste your time. I’m already trying to find a way out of my lease. They don’t have money either. Go into the clubhouse and see their budget board. It’s bad.
I have asthma and have been without AC since I moved in a year ago. The property manager is never in their office, nor do they respond to phone calls and emails. The leasing office too is frequently closed during business hours. The company itself, Ressco, is seldom available despite several attempts to call an report issues. Past that, the maintenance duo themselves are extremely helpful, the apartments are nice and spacious, and the location is great. It is however a real shame that the management group does not stack up to the expect
No pool since 2016. Everything is old. The washer and dryers don't work. They swap appliances from one apartment to the next. The entry doors are busted and don't lock. People have pit bulls, German Shepards and huge dogs in 1 bedroom apartments. They allow vicious dogs to live here. The staff is underpaid and uneducated on dealing with customers.
Very rude and unreasonable, never answer phone calls or get back in time, anywhere but this place
This place is garbage. Dont be fooled by the display models they show. Nothing like the actual apartments. The floor is old and noisy, balconies are falling apart and rusty, and the windows are ancient. I paid the application fee and put a deposit to reserve an apartment for viewing.. when I finally saw the apartment I noticed a window was not closed and would not close, window latch was missing so the window doesn't lock. You would think easy fix.. I was told that it will take a while to fix and if I wasnt willing to sign today they would rather rent to someone else. They can keep my $200, Im out, but if you're desperate and need a place make sure you check the windows! They would rather sucker someone else into the unit rather than just fix it, that tells a tale.
Don't rent here! It's all lies! The pool hasn't been approved by the Health Department since 2018. You won't be able to sleep because you can hear everything above you. The apartments look nothing like the pictures. Please do your research before wasting your money. Management and maintenance is the worst!
In order to have a thriving community you have to start with management onsite. The new managers in the office are so amazing!! They make sure they get down to whatever issue you are having to make sure it's solved.
This is my 5th year here and my last.. never had a problem until ressco took over .. haven’t had a pool in 2 years this is the 3rd it takes maintenances weeks/months to do a simple job I’ve put so much money into fixing my car because of the potholes ... the “picnic area” is garbage benches broken balconies falling apart .. if you’re looking for an apartment this isn’t the one waste of money and you will regret it ! If you ask anyone renting here if they are happy they will say no .
I've been living @ Carriage Hill going now on my 7th year never had an issue till Ressco management took over. please people do you homework before signing with Ressco. Bad Bad decision. Horrible customer service. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS.
I am a current resident. The apt looks just fine but I don't have peace here because the carpets or floor is not strong and you can clearly hear noise of the people living upstairs. It's very annoying when some people make noise even in the mid night and you cannot sleep. I think sleep is very important for your mind and body and you cannot get it if u live here. The floor makes lot of noise even if u walk slowly and it's so annoying. The management is not good at all. Except Manager, other woman who works there doesn't even welcome u with a smiling face. I made complaint several times about noise and disturbance but they don't even care to follow up and see wats going on. I am highly disappointed with this place. Life sucks here! :(
Carriage Hill is a great place to live. Very nice, clean and quiet. Excellent neighbors in this community. Tons of fun at the monthly resident appreciation events. Love property manager, Theresa and leasing consultant Tasha, and the maintenance staff. Sincerely, Zena H.
Every work order completed in a timely manner. I enjoy the monthly resident appreciation events. Especially the mothers day event, "An Office Full of Roses". Made many friends here in this community. I tell everyone I can about Carriage Hill. Sincerely, F. Farkas
Lived here 15 years, and really enjoy living here. Staff is very professional, and the maintenance staff is great. Snow gets done a.s.a.p. Grounds always look great, and people are friendly. Sue S
Has a great staff that throws fun resident appreciation events, and every year they have an annual pool party/cook out. The maintenance staff is excellent always there when I need something fixed. Neighbors are so friendly
