there are people smoking in their apartments that gets into the hallways and into other apartments. nothing is being done to stop it. the pool hasn't been opened, and maintance is hard to find if there is a clog in your bath.
I have lived at the Carrington Drive properties for about 3 years. During approximately the first half of my time there, my experience was great. Then, Aeon Management took over the property, and the results have been abysmal. They are unwilling to address maintenance needs in even a remotely timely manner. My tub drain back-flows and fills the tub with disgusting sludge. This is an ongoing problem that has gotten worse recently. This is currently the 4th day that I have been unable to use my tub, and my apartment is filled with a really terrible smell. This isn't the only problem with the plumbing in the building that I live in. Recently, my sink began to back fill with the same greasy disgusting water that is in my tub right now. I bailed over 50 gallons of water out of it while waiting for maintenance, who took 2 hours to arrive despite me telling them how urgent the situation was. The laundry room has overflowed twice since I have been living here, soaking a large area of the carpet on the basement floor. Today, something similar happened again, although I think it was the boiler that flooded rather than the tub. I suspect this is a mold risk. These types of problems mean that I currently live in an apartment where I do not know if my belongings will be water damaged when I come home from work. That's horrible. Also, parts of the parking lot turn into a lake after heavy rains since the drainage is so poor. I would estimate they accumulate around a foot of standing water during these times. The worst part is how difficult it is to get in touch with anyone at my apartment leasing office or Aeon management, and how apathetic they were when I finally did reach them. It is not an exaggeration to say that I have called and e-mailed Aeon and the leasing office 10 times in the past week and left several messages in an attempt to get my problems addressed, and my tub is still full of gross waste. I strongly recommend against renting here now, but I do want to make it clear that prior to the Aeon takeover, the staff in the leasing and the maintenance staff were really great, and I appreciate everything they did.

I have lived here for one year two months today. I love it here, very nice and quiet place to live. The staff here are all nice and provide good costumer service to the resident(s)/tenant(s). Maintenance personnel always show up promptly when there's a need. The management always listen to tenants needs/concern, and work with them in a satisfactory way. I would recommend anybody who's looking for apartment in the Brooklyn-Center area to rent here at Carrington Drive Apartment. Over all the property manager is awesome!!
