Property Ratings at Carrolls Creek Landing
The Manager is amazing. He is fun, respectful, caring and firm when he needs to be and gets things done and is a great listener. Maintenance is amazing as well. The head of maintenance is quick and get things done without flaw. This team makes a great community to live
WORST PLACE EVER!! There is NO parking for guest at all !! Was told that guest can park in cul-de-sac on the street out front the car was towed $753 to get it back. When we called the manager (some guy) was so rude! I suggested they post more signs he said they have been sitting in the office waiting to see if they were going to take down the fence. I said maybe they should put them up until they figure out the fence he said he doesn't need to be told what to do and hung up on me.
I didn't catch the manager's name, but he's a real piece of work. Didn't even finish the application process because he was extremely rude and unprofessional.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The management is insane. They will add by-laws into your contract without you knowing. Such as stating a car parked on the side on the road or in front of your house is parked illegally and is subject to being towed. I had to pay 500 dollars to get my car out of impound after the management complained that my car was parked illegally. I'm just one of many tenets who've had this same problem. On-top of that the maintenance does not respond in a timely manner. In the middle of winter my wife and child had to wait for 4 days without heat while the maintenance "made their way to us". This was implying to me that almost all of the a/c units in the complex were going bad. The hot water heater goes out on a regular weekly basis. The toilet pipes clog with a simple flush. As stated before, DO NOT LIVE HERE.
No parking and and plenty of area to create parking. Neither management nor owners care about their residents having to walk .5 miles to park. The place is disgusting; dog poop everywhere, trash everywhere, giant pot holes, lakes in the road when it rains. Daily emails reminding residents they are not allowed to park anywhere. I would advise moving anywhere else but CCL!
Looks like apartments have been updated since I moved out of this headache. HOWEVER these pictures are very deceiving and those spacious living rooms with windows all around are sparse. Most homes are squished next to each other. There is a garage and a parking space right outside of it, but absolutely no curb parking. People park in the “guest” spots for WEEKS at a time. I could never get someone in maintenance to come look at what I needed to. Advertised, this place looks like a dream. Living at it? A nightmare.
While visiting this property my car window was smashed out and my belongings we're stolen. 3 weeks later the glass was still in the parking spot. The natural growth surrounding the property is shelter to many vagrants. This complex will charge you $300 just to file an application electronically. What they don't make clear is that you must verify you earn 3 times the rent of the town home to live there. Many places now only require 2 or 2.5 times the rent. They also do not make clear that $250 admin fee that goes with the $50 application fee is non refundable (even though on your receipt email is says to call for the refund policy).
As stated in a previous review, parking enforcement is horrible. Cars are always parked on the sides of the road including at/in intersections. Maintenance response is horrible and usually takes several days. They've completely ignored the needs to plow the roads during this recent week of snow storms. The cherry on top of the cake is that they have decided to charge the residents a 50% increase in trash fees due to the fact that THEIR trash compactor stopped working. Avoid this place!
Tenants park on the street and make it really hard to drive and dangerous for the kid in the neighborhood. My daughter almost got uit numerous times do to this issue. Nothing at all has been done to inforce parking. Makes the neighborhood very confrontational with neighbors. Would strongly suggest for no one to move here!
