Noisiest place I have ever lived

Neighbors constantly yelling, screaming, banging on shared walls, and slamming their doors. Management does not care what happens as long as property isn’t hurt.

Look elsewhere

The complex has a lot of crime, walls are paper thin as mentioned in another review, and they are just not worth the $. Management seems to be all about collecting money but not improving the safety of the property.

Pros and Cons

Pros: management is very nice, maintenance quick to respond to issues, great location in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood close to everything, nearby walking trails, and the townhome itself is decent with a dishwasher and laundry room. Cons: Not a lot of natural light, and THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN. You WILL feel like you are living in an apartment. If you have children, your neighbors will hear them, and if you don’t have children, you will hear your neighbors’ kid screaming and crying for over an hour at 9 PM... It’s not just the screaming or the loud TV though, the walls are so thin that I can hear my neighbor close their cupboard in their kitchen at times. Even a normal-toned conversation can be heard. If you are okay with the noise, it is a great place to live. But if you are wanting to move into a townhome because you are sick of the noisey apartment life, do not move here.

Do you research!!!

These townhomes are obviously neglected. They lie to you & take full advantage of you. We’re a military family & were pushed for time to find a rental. We were walked thru a completely different townhome & pressured to sign a lease on a home that wasn’t in livable conditions. They need to take some serious time getting the unit 2563 up to some kind of livable standards but they are trying to get it rented ASAP according to the money hungry director!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Carver Lake

I recently went through a domestic situation and was afraid for my well being. The management helped me to relocate with minimal hassle and kept on top of my aggressors whereabouts. I felt that they treated me as not just a renter...but a friend.

Carver Lake Townhomes

Although the interior is a bit dated and the appliances are on the low end (coil stoves, loud dishwasher, washer and dryer with long cycle time), the staff is very helpful with repairs and related requests. The community pool is well maintained, as are the two playgrounds. Carver lake beach, and its nature, walking, and single-track trails are a stone's throw away. There is no shopping to speak of within walking distance, but that is typical for Woodbury.
