Pros: Neighborhood is quiet Cons: Roach INFESTATION I have never lived ANYWHERE where I have had a roach infestation. I would post the pictures of the roaches IN MY FRIDGE and everywhere else my fiancé has taken pictures of them (to show the office of proof of this health hazard) but I cannot bring myself to look at them because it is so infuriating. I have found roaches even in the water that is supposed to soak my children’s bottles/sippy cups. What’s worse, I have called to express my frustration to the office MULTIPLE times with NO response. I’ve expressed my concern on messages of my kids who are 2 and under one and their health being that one is crawling and touching everything and the office has never called me back, never tried to handle the situation. I had to make my fiancé go into the office to talk to someone and they sent pest control in, pest control came once and they did a poor job. Did not even move appliances to spray behind them. Lets not mention the many other issues I have with this place: thin walls (can hear when people are actually using the bathroom) flushing, garage doors opening (waking you out of your sleep), etc. My only reason for writing this is the poor way management has handled this issue that involves my family’s HEALTH. Pest control was supposed to come last Friday, I had my fiancé call the office (they do not answer or return my calls when I personally call them) to see what time to expect them. Pest control never came. Someone from the office was suppose to call when pest control was going to come into the apartment ( Im pregnant, have two babies so I didn't want to be here while they are spraying). NEVER came. Think the office called to inform us of that after expressing our grief with dealing with this situation!? I WILL not be signing another lease here and you have been warned.
Gotta say all the staff is great, I've been here almost a year, t's been a pleasant experience. However I was with no central AC for a month, total nightmare. The staff here can't do much. The new management company Fogelman has not stepped up to address all that I went through; which is why I'm giving it only 1 star. I've asked to speak to the regional manager Joanna, 2 weeks ago. I still haven't heard from her. On Mar 18, 2019 I called the office to inform about the AC not cooling and mold in my place. It took a month to get the AC fixed. The temporary AC units were extremely loud, those huge machines are not made for the windows in this apartment; which brought a lot of headaches and uncomfortable living situations for my son and I. Windows were always opened, which was a security issue for an apartment in the first floor for single mom like me. Sleeping and leaving the house was a worrisome experience. Also, all the hot air that was coming back in through the open windows which made the apartment hot. My electric bill went up. I had no AC on the living room, nor the kitchen/dining room nor laundry room. Windows open, also meant it was hard to sleep since all the AC units for my building are right outside of my master room window, it was extremely loud every single night. Again, a really bad experience and time for me. Not to mention the mold found on my place due to a non working AC. Health risks my son and I were exposed to. Those huge machines were on the way and took a lot of space in the rooms. The front office just had one reason why it took so long. The bad part (compressor) for the AC being back order by their supplier could have been solved by using a another supplier; headquarters having delays and Casa Brera having credit issues for not paying on time with the supplier was not something we had to pay for; which we did, my son and I paid a real high price for a whole month! If I were to take 3 days more to pay my rent I will get a late fee of $100; they expect me to be on time. 3 days is the only grace period given. The expectation should be mutual. However, it's unfair that I had to wait patiently for a whole month, and told excuses which had solutions.

When you initially enter the property it looks good since it’s a fairly new complex but once you move in you will start to notice the uncleanliness of the property e.g dog fecis everywhere, the stairs/corridor leading to each unit is filthy, I wish I could upload the picture I took outside my front door a few minutes ago, maintenance don’t fix anything and will enter your unit without leaving notice. My lease is up in 2 months and I will not be renewing.

We encourage our resident with pest to pick up after them and dispose in our pet waste stations. We hope to change your experience here in the future.
"a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile. Destiny and Gail are very courteous and have been very helpful to my needs. The entire staff have been quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the parking garages. . I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood that I would recommend.
Looks beautiful but it is gross. After living here for a few weeks noticed bugs everywhere more and more as time went on. Told the office and they seem to not take it serisouly. They have a exterminator that comes to the neighborhood every week because there are bug problems in community. They just spray and the situation is getting worse. They enter the apartment without my knowledge( I only know because I had someone in my house that was able to tell me. Thank god or else I wouldn't have known.) not helpful with the problem at all. Paying a lot of money for a 1/1 you would think you could get help from the front office.
It's a great complex and I have no complaints. Quiet, clean, I rarely hear my neighbors.
I have been living in Casa Brera since May of 2014. Over all, I am very happy with the complex. It is kept very clean, and is quiet. I have never had any issues with noise in the last year. It os a gated community, and I am not aware of any issues with crime in the complex. There is a gym, and pool. While not are small they are still nice and kept clean. Any maintenance issues I have had have been corrected quickly. Complex was built in 2014, so it is still new and I'm excellent condition. Pets are allowed, with breed restrictions. Overall, a great complex for a young adult or small family. I feel very safe here.
