In 1824, the Marquis de Lafayette -- a key figure in the American Revolution -- visited the United States and was repaid for his help (both military and financial) during the war with money and land. Some of that land was in Florida, and French settlers began to move in -- including Caroline Bonaparte's son, Prince Achille Murat. The neighborhood became known as Frenchtown.
Later, Frenchtown became famous for its jazz music and was an important part of the African-American culture in Tallahassee. As one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods in the city, Frenchtown offers great views of the city skyline, historic architecture, and proximity to everything Tallahassee has to offer -- including Florida State University, which borders the neighborhood along Tennessee Street.

Poor Management
Avoid Betty in Social Service at the apartment building. She is a problem; she lacks professionalsm and self-awareness. Management (BARBARA) IS SLOW to repaond and has been known to enter residents' apartments at her leiaure...without their knowledge.
