With a fitting name, the Greater Hobby area of Houston sits nearly 14 miles southeast of downtown. A fitting name because many residents enjoy more space and lower cost of living than neighborhoods closer to the city, freeing up budgets and schedules. The Greater Hobby Area is a largely residential community alongside the William P. Hobby Airport.
While Downtown Houston is just a 20-minute drive away, there is still plenty to do in the Greater Hobby Area. There’s a diverse selection of restaurants that serve everything from bubble tea to Tex-Mex, and shops selling antiques or sporting gear. Greater Hobby also provides plenty of green spaces and recreation space for residents to enjoy without having to venture far from their apartments, such as Blackhawk Park.

Living here was the worst possible experience i had in my life. Was recently displaced due to a fire that broke out in the neighbors apartment which affected my small family and 7 other families we were not offered another unit as they claimed none were available yet many were empty. On top of all this the property manager NEVER did anything to avoid it getting to where it did, No write ups not even evict the tenants, after multiple reports, police reports and even having to press charges. My deposit has yet to be returned even after advising we were not responsible for being displaced. Im currently still awaiting my deposit and neighbors info to sue for our losses because renters insurance would not be approved due to issues in the apartment which were never handled. . When your first come they treat you nice show you the nice apt but when it comes to your own apt they are awful remodel? Where? Just painted over don’t mind bringing pets they are included roaches and rats. The dumps are always overflowing with trash. And as far the manager don’t ask for nothing she will immediately scream at you Even if you ask for a filter. Happy that my lease is over.

We're disappointed to hear that you experience with our community has not been positive. I would like to invite you to our office to go over the issues in person. We are working hard on the response time for maintenance. We assure you we are doing our best daily to make our community an amazing place to live. Thank you for your comment but since I don't know if you are an actual resident for this community I can't say much about you. I am very professional and I will never scream to any of my residents I think you are mistaking me with someone else.
I got towed the first night here. The tenant was heartless. 250 to get my van out. The main manager is a thief and very greedy. He never even tried to reimburse or help me. And your forced to pay for parking add 50 to your rent and be prepared to park far away from your apartment.

This was the worst experience I had living in Houston have to pay for parking when you already paying high rent when something breaks they don't fix it right away but if you don't pay your rent on time see if they don't add those late fees, then at that the city had them to put new AC unit in the apartment they put holes in the walls don't come fix it the the new AC unit goes out and they take there time to come fix it this apartment complex needs to be managed by someone else because it's poor management the man in there looks at you like it's a problem he is not friendly at all the place stay with trash all over especially by the dumpster it's a mess when u invite friends and it just looks trashy and the gates stay broken it's sad I have to pay for gate keys very bad place to live
