Property Ratings at Casa Del Rio
Lived here for 2 yrs. There is no manager here, when she is here she is locked in office not available to residence. Maintenance work orders are not serviced in timely manner. I know a few neighbors who cant reach management at all. Since fire they have to urgency to repair parking lot so everyone is parking on street sometimes two to three blocks down from apartment. Management and owners lack any professionalism and common courtesy for residents and after fire had no compassion for the people who lost their only transportation.
My son and daughter in law lived there and could not afford to break the lease and those apartments have so many roaches no matter how much you clean they are everywhere.
I lived here for 1 year and upon leaving hired someone to clean the place top to bottom. The manager, Florita, had stated she was pleased with how it looked and that we shouldn't have a problem getting our deposit back. After waiting 3 months to get any information about the deposit and after repeatedly calling florita to find out where it is, I finally got the number to their corporate office who then told me our deposit was spent on charges for cleaning the apartment. It had exceeded our $700 deposit by $36.00. Most of the charges went to damages that were pre existing that unfortunately I had not taken note of upon move in. Do not live here, it was not a pleasant experience.
The property is nice but the management and maintenance need major Improvement! Somethings are great had a nice size back yard/patio and nice landscape. First of all, they need a new manger while I was staying there about 3 people moved out even one person moved over night and the manger was unaware is what she said.There was a family there for several years that moved out even told me when they had maintenance problems the manger would try to fix things so she could be Cheap but the problems were fixed.Also management could learn some respect so UNPROFESSIONAL when you have an attitude towards customers.If you would have worked anywhere else you would have been fired!! The maintenance could have been called a lot faster also the workers weren't the problem putting in the work orders seemed to be the problem. Also there were times when the pool wasn't cleaned no one wants to swim in a nasty pool!When we first moved in we were asked if they had permission to enter without us being home the answer was No. Sure enough the manger walks in while my husband is stepping out of the shower he answered her "I am in the shower"she replied "O you didn't answer the door". He didn't because he was in the SHOWER. If you move here these are just a few things talk to other people around we did when we moved in you learn a lot from your neighbors guarantee everyone wants a new manger and problems to be dealt with quicker. Whats the point of office hours if your there only like 3 hours out of the 8? Seems like an easy job cause nothing is done.
