Property Ratings at Casa Madrid
Ive been trying to get a hold of someone all week , i am calling during buisness hours and no one ever answers their phone, is the manager just taking unofficial days off? Today i have called 4 times and have not gotten a response, so much for trying to move in, if this is the type of management they have no thank you.

I’m currently about to end my lease here at casa Madrid and honestly it has been such a bad experience with not only neighbor complaints for no reason but especially management. I reached out to Management who told me twice that they would waive a late fee but never kept their word. I’ve called multiple times about my lease to make sure I would pay on time but due to their lack of communication between the team and getting back to me. I accumulated the late fees. When I reached out about them due to instructions from them and not hearing back they claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. Make sure to get anything in writing as they seem to not be able to keep their word. I am now having to pay late fees that should’ve been waived due to not getting what they told me in writing. If you plan to live here or live here already make sure everything is in writing because they will act like nothing was mentioned.

Currently living here and the apparments are ok but their maitnece team and parking are the absolute worst!!! Nothing ever gets down and I have requested for things to be fixed and nothing ever gets fixed. Have had an ant problem the day I moved in and it’s been 4 months and I still have ants! The parking is the absolute WORST!!! They say you get a guarented parking spot and a pass for the open spots. The thing about that is there’s never any parking !! They never enforce the rules and people just park in spots with no passes!! If you ever think about going out at night and enjoying Anaheim HAHA forget it because you’ll never have a parking spot!! If I could leave my lease I would!! You have no chance to actually have a life because you have to be home by 4pm or else you will not have a parking spot! The worst apartment choice I have made! Save yourself the the time and check out other places!
I lived in these appartments for about 1yrs... My car was broken into, my Harley was stolen, and last but not lease.. I Rented a refrigerator from them thru a company they do business with, I moved out and schedule the refrigerator to be picked up and they took it out of the apartment, no one knows anything about it.. apartment is still vacant so that proves that there maintenance team is probably crooks as well.. and they hit my account for more than $300 dollars with out permission.. I was never late on my rent, I was the perfect tentant.. when I moved out, clean the apartment spotless.. My suggestion is to find other appartments that are not manage by ARNEL... and the security cameras in there parking area is not functional so the will break in your veh.. and I didn't even mention the roaches. and loud neighbors...
From the viewing, everything looked great. BUT they would NOT let us see the apartment until the DAY we moved in. I don't know if I would have signed the lease if I had seen the awful paint, all the bugs, terrible hardware, and bad construction. All if our handles are lopsided, the windows are like paper, and there are ALWAYS bugs. They told us if we ever saw any insects, we could tell management and they would send a bug guy, which they did, but 2 weeks later, our crawly friends were back. Also, they were very adamant on "NO DOGS" and yet, everybody has a dog. Our neighbors dogs actually dug a hole under our shared fence and ran wild all over our backyard and dug up holes everywhere. Parking is fine, there are definitely enough spots but you are only guaranteed one covered spot. Seriously the paint... awful.
This place is the prototypical bait and switch. The grounds have been setup to appear as though this is a safe clean complex. It truly is not! The complex is infested with spiders, rats, lizards, and other insects. Residents are have property stolen off their front porch in broad daylight. There is no security, and I doubt the cameras that they do have even work. The front doors do not have seals at the base so the insects are free to enter in and your heat or air conditioning leaks right out. The windows are not energy efficient either. If there is even a light wind blowing outside, your blinds will sway inside your apartment. There is basically no sound insulation. You can hear the fireworks from Disneyland every night, and every truck that goes by rattles your windows and doors even if your not near the main street. The walls are coated in cheap paint that peals off from just the contact of double sided tape. The patios are filled with leaves and dirt daily because the patio fences don't reach the ground. If you ever get the maintenance people to show up, they may not be competent, but they are at least nice. They will lie to you and tell you that you can go month to month after your lease has ended but then raise the rent $100 after your lease ends if you agree to sign another lease or raise your rent $200 if you decide to go month to month. This complex has been on a steady decline over the past year. From the manager to the office employees. When I first got there, the office was staffed with early 30's to mid 40's, seasoned leasing agents that represented and themselves with class and professionalism. Now the office is staffed with classless juveniles with zero customer service skills. The parking on site and the area is incredibly difficult everyday of the week. From the moment I did my property tour, I saw people constantly moving out, NOW I know why. If you choose to go by the property, don't be shy, ask a current resident for the truth.
In a nut shell.. Don't do it. The model they show you is nice, YES. But what you get is something you should be paying $1200ish for. Roaches, horrible parking, cig smoke, loud neighbors. I feel bad when I see new renters moving in, all excited. I know the feeling.. Lease is almost up! Can't come any quicker..

My place of living is a fairly decent place to stay. The managing staff seem quite nice and professional and so do the maintainers. The cost of living here is quite expensive. Pet owners tend not to pick up after the dogs they own which in return leaves the area covered in droppings. The main problem has to be the parking arrangements. Too many car but not enough parking spaces available.
The grounds here are beautiful and well maintained. The price is pretty good for the size of the studio we have. The only real con is that besides one reserved spot per apartment, the open parking can get overcrowded and have to resort to street parking which is also difficult to find. If you get home early enough every day then it isn't even a problem. Besides parking, this complex is pretty good for what we pay!
