Property Ratings at Casa Mira View
This place is extremely deceptive. It look all "nice and luxury" from the outside. But if you live here, you will realize how horrible it is. We couldn't wait to move. Most don't stay here after the lease is over. They have no insulation, and everything is cheaply made, you can hear your neighbors walking or running the garbage disposal. Their swimming pools and jacuzzis don't work most of the time. Jacuzzi has been cold for weeks. Pools aren't heated during winter. The community is not secured. Anyone can come in, so constant car break in, stolen packages and cars. The management does nothing about it. The hallways and common areas are never cleaned. Carpets have stains and dog urines. Their priority is a profit only. The positive reviews you see are only for their maintenance workers- jesus and jorge- they are just very nice and friendly. The management encourages them to tell the people to leave positive reviews because the place itself has horrible reviews. The problem is, even the maintenance workers can't do much without the management approval. And the property manager here is awful and cheap. My friend stayed here for almost 10 years. Then they transferred to the 2 bedroom here, all appliances are old, heavily used up and horrible in the transferred 2 bedroom unit. The washer was broken. The dryer is horrible and in a horrible condition with blue stains. The stove is scratched beyond normal wear and tear and doesn't work well. The refregerator was leaking. The management refused to swap their horrible appliances with the ones they used for 10 years in the unit they stayed before here. All appliances in the unit they transferred from are in excellent conditions but the property manager refused to do something as simple as let them swap it to have the appliances that they used for 10 years. The bathroom mirrors are rusted. Horrible service. Horrible property management. Not the way to treat someone who stayed in the unit for 10 years.

When moving in, do a thorough inspection. You think the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned, but it has not. Once you have taken the keys, they will not come to make certain repairs. For example, once I moved in, the sun glared on my walls for me to find writing all over the wall (it was not covered up well with the paint job they did). I asked maintenance to paint the walls, and I was told they would not come into the unit to paint over it. I was told that I needed to purchase the paint from Sherwin Williams. To match the exact color and finish, you need to buy 5-gallon increments. And no, maintenance will not give or sell you paint. Next, my first shower in the primary bedroom bathroom, writing on the mirrors, showed up. The steam from the shower revealed affirmations from the previous tenants about 1/3 of the way down the mirror. You couldn't remove it with Windex. I had to use goof off to remove the writing. After moving in, we would walk on the edges of the carpet, and my family and I could feel the carpet nails. I was told this is normal. I'm picky, and we don't wear shoes in our home. I asked if the carpets were done, and I was told yes, but they would not clean the carpet before I moved in. I hired someone to clean it for me. The carpet cleaner came and commented on the water coming out dirty for the carpet clean. Didn't think anything of it. We moved in with our potty-trained dog, and the first thing she does is pee on the carpet. Ok, I thought it was the stress. She continued to do it for months which baffled the family. After the continuous cleaning on my part, I decide to hire another carpet cleaning service. I explained to him what was going on. Come to find out later, the last time this carpet was replaced was 3 to 4 years ago, and according to maintenance, they will not change your carpet once you move in. The carpet cleaner believes the previous tenant may have had a dog that urinated in the apartment. He tells me to get a blacklight and flash it on the floor at night. I ordered it and did it within the week; I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You can see the stains throughout the apartment, under furniture that has been sitting there since we moved in, in the closets, just everywhere.

Do not live here ! They raise the price every year. If you have a person on your lease you’re not able to take them off. They only care about your money instead of compromising with you. Be careful at move out they will find anything to bill you. The price is not worth it !
First day of move in July 15th and the apartment was infested with Ants in every single room. I called the office and was told pest control can come out on July 20th and was advised to wipe it clean until they can come out. I asked if I purchased ant killer would they reimburse me. I was told no you can purchase as you can find inexpensive products. How disappointing for your first day of move in. I thought I was moving into a luxury apartment.
Worse Place to live, too much highway noise. Don't fall for the move in offers. If you are a light sleeper and want a peaceful sleep go for a different apartment. Horrible place and people in the leasing office will be of no use they cant help you in any aspect. They mostly will be cheating you and make you to sign longer term lease with out showing the apartment. The reason they say is, "the apartment you want to see is currently not cleared by the maintenance. we will show the replica." If you are somewhat in a hurry to rent the apartment they will take good advantage of you. If you want to feel what I say. when you enter the community instead of stopping the car at the leasing office come straight to end and stay outside the car for five minutes. I bet you will feel like jumping into the car and escape from there. These are not luxury apartments, they are just below average. Bachelors don’t take the apartment at all, just in case if you get married, you won’t get to add your wife to the lease. They won’t let you to make any ethical changes to the lease agreement. May me they don’t let you buy a pet also. I didn’t see such an unfriendly leasing community any where else. Don't believe the reply's to this review by the apartment people. They are useless. Property managers cant help you in any issues. They are just good actors. I did received call after the review got posted but its just extra waste of time. They will just provide a shoulder to cry and then will dump you like before. If you want a peaceful life, many options are out there.
My two main problems are noisy neighbors and the majority of the amenities including the gym are almost always closed. It is unfortunate that rent seems to factor in the amenities but then all of the amenities are constantly closed. Regular staff is not helpful and maintenance staff is incompetent. Will be moving out as soon as my lease is up.
For starters, the garage is very dangerous. Not only are people speeding and will almost hit you every single day, cars get broken into regularly. There was a BMW sitting half on the ground and half on bricks because someone had stolen their tires. There are also no cameras in the garage, so if someone breaks into your car there is no way of finding out who. Guest parking is awful. They took away half of the guest parking for EV charging stations, which guests can only use for charging, while they have tons of empty "permit" spots that only residents can use. Plus the tandem parking is the majority of the spots. This office is also the office of "sorry we cannot do that". You cannot add someone to the lease or remove someone from the lease for any reason. I was told by the office if I want to remove someone from the lease, I would have to vacate the apartment for two weeks (while still responsible for rent), and move back in at a higher rate than my original lease. They are impossible and ridiculous. Also, if you do decide to live here, most apartments get terrible lighting and you have to turn your lights on the entire day. Make sure you see your actual unit before you sign anything.
I’ve been staying here for almost a year. Don’t recall any negative experience. My apartment is good and oh if you need repairs just use the online resident page to submit your request - the maintenance folks get in touch via phone.
The actual apartment is okay Tho there were some horrible patch jobs that we had to note on our move in, including our microwave and counter. For a newer complex, we were a bit disappointed by this, especially for the price. The amenities are nice, however they close down the gym and other amenities on holidays, when if you are like us, had the day off and that is exactly what you want to do is hit the gym, or use the other amenities. Eventually, we started getting letters for noise complaints when we weren't even home at the time in question, turned out it was coming from another apartment, but they did a blanket complaint to all apartments, and our neighbor got mad at us thinking we complained about him, due to us asking him to turn down his bass once, since we could hear it through our floors. The parking garage sucks, people speed through it and I have seen more than one accident in the garage, and people parking where they are not supposed to all the time, so the security is kinda a joke and doesn't actually do anything about cars not parked correctly. The complex is too big, so the staff is always busy, and the office hours are horrible. Most jobs you get off at 5pm, well the office closes at 5pm, so you can't get your package if you have one. They have these parcel lockers so you can get your package whenever, but none of the drivers use them and still drop them off at the office, and the office still says you can avoid the office with a locker... but doesn't work that way... The complex does have food trucks from time to time and events they put on which is nice, but overall the amenities kind of just sugar coat the problems of the complex, and we couldn't keep living here long term with these issues and found a newer apartment, nicer, bigger, and for less rent with better hours, and parking, that fit all of our needs better.
Casa Mira View is a safe and quiet environment which , i've noticed, is great for any type of family. Whether it involves fitness, fun, or a nice place to stay for busy working people like me. Everything is nearby! I love this place! It definitely feels like a community.
Casa Mira View is around everything you would ever need and has amazing staff. The amenities such as a bowling alley, pool tables, and a three story gym is just the beginning of what this place has to offer. I love the layouts and the residents. It seems to be over the top from any other places i've viewed and I love living here. I look forward to the next year here and what this awesome complex has to over.
Great luxury apartment that is located in the middle of everything. Has a lot of great amenities, but the office is a little difficult to get into contact with.
The apartment complex is great because it has everything including multiple pools, hot tubs, and even a sauna. The only negative flaw is that the parking spaces are too small. I would recommend anyone to try this apartment complex out, you would love it!
